      I rented a car from Hertz Terminal B at the Orlando airport of May 21, 2024. I do not rent cars often, so the process of choosing any car within a category was a bit confusing. However, my big complaint is about charges. I had a contract; I filled the tank before returning the car, yet I was charge the gas fee at 10.99 per gallon. I was appalled. I filled out a survey and asked to be contacted. I filed a complaint. In the fine print it says to get this reversed I needed to have my receipt from the gas station. I rented from Hertz believing I was dealing with an honest company. I was proven wrong.

      DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION! When I booked my rental and paid in full online I declined the insurance. When I went to pick up my vehicle I again declined the insurance when I was asked if I wanted it. Somehow this insurance ended up in my agreement and I am being charged ******. I did not want this insurance when I booked nor did I want it when the car was picked up. This seems to be a common theme with this location. I contacted Hertz (which is a nightmare to get through to anyone because supposedly there are no supervisors you can talk too) and they agreed to refund me the money. After 10 days I contacted them again looking for my refund and they changed their mind and decided I will not get one. Completely ridiculous. I will never rent from this company again!

      Reserved a car for pickup on Saturday. When I arrive at the time I reserved the car for and they were closed. I could not get a rental due to no one there. I am not being charged a fee for not picking up. I'm confused how can I pickup a car when no one is there. It wasn't due to my fault. I only give them 1 star us because I can't post with no stars.

      Hertz TNC is the worst. Renting Tesla or any electric vehicle from them is the worst thing ever! Its starts of kinda good. But as soon as there system does properly work everything thing goes down hill. Then they dont even try to work with you behind errors with their system its basically have the money or we taking the car.

      Where do I start Ok If you can avoid renting from the *******************The truth is just not in them its literally like there trained to tell people anything when it comes to stress or a busy day.They are perfectoness when it comes to passing the buck on someone else.Dont have any kind of discount they get dumb founded real quick I can go on but at the end of the day we the customers are being ripped and led to.

      DO NOT RENT FROM THIS SITE!!!! WE JUST GOT RIPPED OFF FOR SMOKING IN THE **** WE DONT SMOKE! WHEN WE PICKED UP THE *** THE SMELL WAS SO BAD WE HAD TO OPEN THE WINDOWS TO BE ABLE TO BREATHE EACH TIME WE GOT IN, THE WINDOWS WERE COVERED WITH SMOKE FILM. THEY CHARGED US $150 FOR SOMETHING THAT WAS NOT OUR FAULT! DONT RENT HERE!!!

      Continuous Harassment and Incompetence I have had an incredibly frustrating experience with Hertz. Despite having a rental agreement that clearly states my vehicle is due back on May 23rd, I have been bombarded with messages and calls claiming that my rental is overdue since the 15th. This has led to my vehicle being disabled, leaving me stranded and accumulating citations.Attempts to resolve the issue with local Hertz representatives and roadside assistance have been futile. Roadside assistance confirmed that the vehicle was turned off due to incorrect records at Hertz's headquarters. To make matters worse, the local Hertz office requires the disabled car to be returned to their location before they can provide a replacement, but I am unable to move the car because it is immobilized.I have also contacted the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regarding these unfair business practices and the sharing of my personal information with unknown third parties, which I believe constitutes fraud and identity theft. This situation has severely impacted my ability to work and has caused significant financial and emotional distress.The lack of competence, coupled with what seems to be retaliatory behavior due to my inquiries about price changes, is unacceptable. I urge others to think twice before renting from Hertz.

      The **************** rep ***** and the ******** Il location at the Airport hung up on me while i was talking being very rude The older ***** its 2 scotts at that location The older ***** is very rude he needs to fired asap. You dont hang up on customers if they dont understand what is going on. And if you didnt have time to answer the phone, you should have never answer the phone to be rude to a customer. He needs to be let go

      Id rate ********************** a 0 if I could. Ive used them for over the past decade as my go-to rental option. That changed recently when on a rental I experienced a flat tire. No big deal, call Hertz and they say itll be $200 to tow the vehicle. Vehicle is towed and Hertz gives me a replacement vehicle at no extra cost. Fast forward a month after the trip and Hertz is now charging ~$800; a huge jump from the $200 I was quoted previously. Customer service was terrible throughout the experience, refusing to give me an explanation for the jump in price. They kept using the same talking point instead of giving me a concrete breakdown of the charges. The worst part is while Im in communication with ***** at Hertz via email, I receive a letter from ************* Services informing me that Hertz has discharged my debt to a debt collector. Wonderful. This company will never get another dime for me and Id strongly recommend renting from literally any other rental agency. Its no wonder this company is in such dire financial straits with the way they treat actual loyal, paying customers.

      I recently reserved a rental car through Expedia for Hertz. I called the rental car store on *************************, IN to see if I could pick up the car 30 minutes early. I was told at that time that I could not pick up the car until the scheduled time (5:30pm) I arrived at 5:20 to initiate the pick up process as this should be relatively easy since booking through Expedia. Upon arrival I provided my name and confirmation number. I was quickly told I didn't have a vehicle and that someone had called to notify me that I did not have a vehicle. I checked with my wife and neither of us received a call (Why would I show up to pick up a vehicle if you called me to notify me I didn't have one). The attendant then became very agitated and rude. She began to berate me in front of other customers and employees stating that I was racist and she was done with me. I never made a comment about race. (She and the employee supporting her were both African American and I was Caucasian). I asked for a manager and her name or someone to contact regarding this service. She told me to leave and ignored me and moved on to the next customer. I had no car and all ********************** companies closed in 5 minutes. I normally don't play raise the issue of discrimination but this was very blatant and disrespectful. She needs to not have her job if she's going to have her racism and discrimination on display. The other employee encouraged her and told her to give it to me. I was able to rent a car at another car rental company that mentioned they had also heard terrible reports from your location.
