      The worst experience with a rental car , the customer service rep was so rude and nasty with me. I am a nice woman but I didnt have a credit card and I had to call my wife to help pay and the man just got extra upset we dont know why so hertz never again

      First trip they gave me a car that ended up with a flat the first overnight. No spare. Had to spend half a day getting new tires put on because the tire shop said all the tires were bad. Second trip had to take car back after a mile on the road because a tire was so out of balance it was extremely loud. Third trip the engine light came on after a couple days. They said it could be the gas cap not on but it’s a car that doesn’t have a gas cap. Then said it needs an oil change (which they wrote on the window when I turned it in). I checked and oil life was 65%. So they said bring it in no charge we’ll give you another car to make the 700 mile trip home. Got there and said only car was electric Pulstar but I wouldn’t find a charging station where I was going. Took over an hour to “find” another car. Then charged me to swap cars anyway. Ended up giving me a $100 voucher to use the next time. So the last time I made a reservation then a week later came to pick up the car but they said they didn’t have any cars. The only other time I rented a car and didn’t have a mechanical problem, we had to stop and clean it because it reeked of McDonalds onions. It obviously wasn’t cleaned. All the cars came from Hertz on Hurstbourne in Louisville,KY. Stay away from this place. They are awful!

      WARNING - vehicle reservation made online with NO add-on services. Confirmed at the airport NO add-on services. Agent printed slip and asked for a signature. WHY WOULD YOU REVIEW THE IT AGAIN WHEN YOU CONFIRMED NO ADD-ON SERVICES??? Because Agent fraudulently added Premium Road Service and did not advise us of this. We signed and left and only noticed when we returned to Canada and got our credit card statement. Immediately contacted Hertz, provided copy of original vehicle reservation. They don't care. Unbelievable! Its fraud Hertz and everywhere I can, I will be advising people of this fraud!

      Hertz expires earned points without giving proper notice and arbitrarily changes the terms to expire points from its customers accounts. A once decent company is now one of the worst.

      Upon arriving to hertz counter it was accessible or ADA ********** My fianc who uses a wheelchair couldnt reach the pin pad or see the computer screen for her reservation. She was also charge per a day to add a driver which under their policy states if the person renting is handicap/disabled that to add an additional driver would be no charge. When we questioned it they said that wasnt the case. Were also AAA members which also under their policy states no additional charge for a driver to be added. They refused to give us the refund. Also once returning the vehicle no one would assist us back to the arrival gates by driving us because they said we werent platinum members. I can reasonable say that I understand why hertz is being sued for discrimination when it comes to accessibility or handicap problems because they dont follow the policies or procedures set in place or make accommodations. My fiance wants her money refunded for the additional drive being added immediately especially since its under their website we shouldve be charged.

      Fraud! They told me they were going to charge my credit card $200 for incidentals and that would be refunded when car was returned. They actually charged it $400 and only refunded $200 once car was returned (no damage, full gas, no tolls, no reason for extra charges). The manager (Matt) was useless and wouldn’t even speak to me. He repeatedly told the person actually talking to me (over walkie talkie) “tell him there is nothing i can do”). Corporate is even worse. You can’t speak to any person about a dispute—you have to submit it electronically and they “review” on their own. Surprise, surprise, they said there is “nothing they can do” without ever even speaking to. I am a presidents circle member, have used them countless times, but I will never use them again and you shouldn’t either.

      Some of the worst and least accessible customer service I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I reserved a car on June 7 and within about 15-20 minutes, I realized I made a major mistake about the dates. I then immediately canceled the reservation. The location I had attempted to rent from was temporarily closed that week anyway, and the location I called said they didn't have any vehicles for me to rent. I then asked how to get my money back since I never received services, and I was told that wouldn't happen until I returned the car that I never rented. Now I've been told by multiple customer service people that they can't do anything until the rental is returned.

      Well I think Hertz is a rip off. Never accept a rental unless it's CLEAN! Because if the rental car you accept is dirty then when you drop it off you will be expected to vacuum it clean. Especially if it's a one way rental. So, word to the wise---never accept a car that isn't clean.

      Outright Thieves! Today, 6/24/24 I filled the tank of my rental car less than a mile away from the return location at Roseville, CA. The employee walked out to the car and checked the gas gauge. I watched him do so. He saw it said full. I was asked if I want a receipt for the rental fees. I said yes and got one. I didn't check the receipt until I was home, 250 miles away. They charged me $127.30 for 11.51 gallons of gas. Now I have to send Hertz Corporate the receipt for the gas I filled up the tank with, in order to apply for a refund. I charged the gas on my Chevron card so I can request a receipt. This is an old scam. Employees fill their tank with gas and charge it to you, hoping you didn't get a receipt from the gas station. Most people don't. Without a receipt, you don't get your money back. DON"T EVER rent a car from this location!

      Never rent from hertz dishonest company took my money and dont have a car didnt tell me there was a wait then said twenty minutes three hours later and a fifty long person line; disposable anything but a premium supplier dont ever use them.
