      Dear Hertz, I was hoping you would send me a customer satisfaction survey after renting one of your cars, but I guess this will have to do. "I recently used Hertz at Miami Airport as a Gold Member, expecting to skip the line. Unfortunately, I ended up waiting even longer. Despite being directed to a specific spot, the car was not there. When I finally found my assigned vehicle after going back and forth, it was dirty and had a low tire. Reporting these issues to Hertz staff resulted in indifference. The overall service did not meet my expectations."

      They made a claim for car defects present in the car before I rented it for $878 and came after me after 34 days from returning the car. Luckly I have kept photos of the car pre-rental and they were forced to close the ** claim as if they do not have record of the car before they rented it to me.

      Hertz is the worst car rental place They charge me for towing and I did not receive any towing from hertz and they put a towing charge of ****** and I did call road service but they did not show up I was on the side of the road from 2pm until 7pm my husband called AAA towing our personal account they came and pick me up.. so why is that Im being charged for this my rental date July 29-until August 1, 2024 Im contact corporate office

      My wife and I got separated on different flights to Buffalo and I wanted her to pick-up the rental as I wouldn’t arrive until 2 days later but no one at Hertz-Buffalo Airport would answer the phone to inform me what I must do, even after more than 20 calls. So, I gave my wife a copy of my driver’s license and she had the same credit card but was NOT allowed to rent the car and was gouged 3X to rent another car! Unacceptable customer service for a Gold Member. Just terrible!

      Hertz is absolutely horrible. I ran into problems with an airport rental as a Gold Member. The counter personnel told me three totally different things about car pickup, credit card and debit card usage. I called Customer Service and it gets answered in some backwood place where they don't even speak English and the woman was rude as heck. She told me to literally get lost and refused to ask any questions. I honestly despise this company and I hope it goes broke. they are nothing but a scam and a very bad business who dont deserve anyone's hard earned dollars! Go Broke hertz you are a scam. The biggest scam! 0 Stars!

      HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - I'd rate it ZERO but I cant select 0 stars. DID NOT GET THE CAR I PAID FOR - Rented a Standard SUV but was given a Small SUV (Ford Escape) CARS ARE NOT INSPECTED - my car had a service light for "oil change". When I informed them, they said it had an oil change but no one reset the service light. I am not sure if it was really done. I got pulled over and received a ticket for a headlamp that wasnt working. When I contacted Roadside assistance, I was told to fix it and send them the bill. Wasted time fixing a headlight for a rental car. UNKNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF - My car had a sticker that said its registration is expired. When I asked the staff, they said they can see its valid but wouldnt give me proof of registration. I was not comfortable driving a car which did not have any proof of registration so they asked me to go to another Hertz location as they were out of cars. I went to the JFK airport location and the staff informed me that the registration is permanent so does not need any proof. Its a Florida PM registration. How am I supposed to know? But I wasted 4 hours trying to understand this. If the staff was knowledgeable, i would have saved 4 hours of my trip. Overall, I spent more than 10 hours trying to understand an out of state registration and fixing a faulty headlight. Never ever renting with Hertz again..

      Rental reservation was for Lg Luxury Sedan equal to Chrysler 300.Didn't get it.Got a low to the ground sm sedan Volvo S60. but paid for Lg Lux Sedan. Look at pics no where near same size. Tried to pick it up about 10:30 am Pittsburgh airport.First they said you already have a car.I was so upset.Why would I be standing there with my paper work if I already had it I had a digital drivers license.The 3 young people at desk started laughing, said they couldn't accept it, told me to walk to the Hyatt Hotel (all while laughing) up an escalator, then equal to 3 blocks down and back a walkway across the parking lot.Lady at Hyatt had me email it to her and printed it for me.She also told me to tell Hertz to get their own printer.This took about 40 minutes and caused great pain.AND I AM HANDICAPPED!! The entire time they are laughing.They had the gall to tell me to stop raising my voice while being being rude and disrespectful to me . They finally gave me a car but NOT the size I paid for.I pd for a large Luxury sedan because I'm handicapped and have trouble walking, getting in and out small cars. They told me to go to parking lot and get my car out of place 191.When I got there the young lady was so helpful. She saw I was struggling to walk so she went and got the car.I saw it was low and small but by then I just wanted to get to my hotel. On a scale of 1 -10 the customer service at the desk was a 1.

      Horrible! They falsely and illegally misrepresent information to you and ask if you want an upgrade for a small fee without telling you it is a daily fee, they mislead you to believe it is a total charge but it is in fact per day and then charge your final bill with unexpected charges. Horrible!

      Rental returned with a full tank of gas. I did the math between fill-ups and the very last refill 3 miles from the drop-off location (time-dated for accuracy) to be sure I wasn't hallucinating. When returned, no disputes. 2 days later, Hertz claims 6.44 (so precise!) gallons short on gas and arbitrarily charges my card on file $70.85 ($11/per gallon). This scam is so f-ing ridiculous that it defies logic. But they know they run a shady business where disputes are difficult to resolve. I plan to share this info as far and wide as possible to ensure at least 3x the reputational damage in this fraudulent charge. Check out the Yelp reviews for your next location and see if others mention this scam.

      Hi was trying to buy car from they Hurtz lot in Salt Lake City . Had every thing arranged financing after a severe day conversation about the rate had how they wanted me to finance through them or it would take several days longer.after all of this we came to a agreement but the sales manager (Jason ) had made a 1000$ mistake on the taxes . He told us to call Back Monday as they were closed Sunday and he would have it fixed.call several times up until midday. When we received a text from our sales person text us that they had sold the car. All this after we have made flight and lodging arrangements to fly and drive the car home. I have spoke to the branch manager,sales manager and our sales person to no avail. All so emailed corporate sale and tried to call they with no response at all what makes this worse is that I hold a small amount of there stock!!!
