      Their customer service stinks. We left an iPad in the rental car at the **************** Hertz. I went back to the Hertz counter within the hour of dropping off the car and no one was there working. I went out to the car and I could see the iPad in between the console and the passenger seat. This was on July 21, 2024. On July 22, I filled out the lost and found form and havent heard anything back about getting this back. I have called the location and no one answers the phone. I have called the lost and found number at they dont answer the phone either. I was able to leave a message and havent heard back from them.This is the worst customer service I have ever received. I am getting no service what so ever.

      We arrived at the Hertz car rental a very unfriendly place. Gave the agent my information and prepaid car request. The agent started by wanting me to accept a different type of car than what I requested I told him several times I wanted what was requested. The agent was not willing to give me what I asked for. Finally, he told me the car was ready in bat # when out to the car lot the car was not what I wanted and so dirty you could not see out the windshield. By this time we were getting very frustrated when back into the lobby and told the agent this it totally unacceptable again for about the 10th time asked for what I paid for. No this was not acceptable to the agent, he sents us back out to another bay and told us to talk to the yard person. he was no help. Finally had to settle for a vehicle half i what I paid for was still dirty. No refund no apologies wrote to hertz just the cars should not be dirty nothing about all the other issues. I don't get it if you prepay for a particular type of car the date and time you will arrive you would think hertz would have it ready and waiting. I will no longer use Hertz as my go-to company.

      DECEPTIVE BUSINESS TACTICS RENTAL AGREEMENT SAYS NO CHARGE IF CANCELED WITHIN 24 HOURS.HERTZ CHARGED FULL AMOUNT TWO DAYS BEFORE PICKUP TIME AND REP SAYS 7-10 DAYS TO RECEIVE MY REFUND.HOW IS THAT FREE?NEVER AGAIN!

      Terrible! Changed color from black to tan on SAME model of car and got a $400 upcharge! Now cant seem to get anyone to discuss it! Total scam!

Horrible customer service, will give you the run around when you actually talk to anyone over the phone and then will they can not help over the phone everything has to be done on their website. Added additional charges, then said to get refunded I'd have to return the car and close out the rental. Once I closed everything they now say since I signed off I can no be refunded any additional charges, even those I called the day I got the car to take the charges off and was then given 10 different numbers to call just to talk to someone that said file a form online and it would be 1-2 weeks to get it reviewed. Each person you talk to gives you a different answer.

      They put very expensive insurance without our knowledge on a rental car.Doubling the price of the rental. The manager refused to refund our money. Stating that he watched a video recording of the transaction. and the agent did explain the insurance to **. When in fact ******* sister conversated right in front of her how it was not worth putting the insurance on because my personal policy already covered it!! I demand to listen to this recording of this transaction. At that time he said the was no sound! So how did he hear the agent explain anything!!!This is fraud! This is actually stealing from unsuspecting customers!

      I will NEVER use this company again. I prepaid for a car, showed up to pick it up and was told I couldn’t pick up the car without my physical card and they could not take the SAME card via Apple Pay. I then had to sit on the phone for an hour because the employees at the counter were unable to do anything on their end amd directed me to call billing services MYSELF. I was then told I had to cancel my reservation and make a new one. The inability of empowering their employees to even have a direct line to assist in real time is appalling.

      Bunch of scammers.. charged us for roadside and damage waiver after we declined them.. nobody answers phones.. worst company.. never do business with Hertz/Thrifty
