      Few into AUS on business and rented from HZ for 2 days. Upon Receiving my emailed receipt I noted that they charged me $20.00 /day because I'm 70. Seriously? Won't happen again.

      I started driving uber with a vehicle rental program with Hertz at 6246 La Grange Road Hodgkins IL back in August. Initially everything was seeming okay with weekly payments and transactions being collected at appropriate dates and times. However, in the week of me having to submit a contract renewal and subsequent weeks I experienced various transactions on my account which overcharged my account inaccurately. I have multiple emails and bank account transactions that can verify these occurrences from Hertz and my Old Second National Bank account.

      Never will I use Hertz again. I ordered a small sedan for pickup and drop off at Newark Airport. The price was double what was stated when I ordered online. The desk staff did not go over all of the added charges except for toll and gas coverage options. I added the $38 gas coverage. NOT told about the Concession Fee Recovery, Vehicle license cost Recovery,Domestic Security& Transfer charge so total went from $231.60 to 401. 83! ( AAA discount supposed to be 20-40% but only 10%). NEVER HERTZ AGAIN!

      Rented vehicle for rideshare driving September 5th. I requested an extension to September 13th, September 12th, the vehicle was deactivated for $463, made payment extension for September 19th.. However, it was deactivated again on September 16th. My payment date are Fridays, not Tuesdays, and the vehicle remained parked until September 22nd for tow. Despite repeated calls daily to cooperate&local office. Hertz, they've blamed each other. I provided proof of the recorded calls & audio. Then Hertz apologized for their misunderstanding, stating that I don’t owe anything further.However, the bank reported multiple transactions, and I haven’t received any responses from Hertz. A new charge of $329 has increased to $665.This situation has caused a financial crisis, and I’m seeking help from agencies to avoid evictions repeatedly monthly. It’s the first time all my bills are overdue due to renting the vehicle from Hertz

      I went in with my confirmation reservation number (for the second time) but was there were no cars available once again. The employee, Ryan, was rude, dismissive, and never even looked at my confirmation. Moments later, I witnessed a white couple arrive and without issue he was able to get them a car. I went back to question how they were able to get a car when I was told there were none, he simply said “They had a confirmation number” Exactly what I had told him I had since the beginning. His behavior was discriminatory and unacceptable. I asked to speak to a manager and he said to contact him thru the business number, which they never even bother answer. Horrible customer service.

      Never rent from this location. The staff is Unprofessional; lacks organization and leadership. I called the location to verify if my vehicle was still available because I was running late. I called for 45 minutes straight no one answered until an hour had passed. I When a representative from that locaton finally answered the phone, received confirmation from both representatives that I my vehicle was still available and to come to the rental location. After waiting for almost an hour and after spending money on an Uber to get there I was informed that the cut off time yo pickup my vehicle was 430pm z They so not deserve any stars. Unfortunately, that is not an option

      Do not rent from this company. I prepaid a deposit for a rental in Springfield for a company trip with a 4 a.m. return. I assumed the remaining balance had been charged to my company card since I never heard from them or my accounting team. Unfortunately, I was wrong. After receiving no communication whatsoever, the company turned my account over to collections for a $110 balance. When I reached out to their customer service team to understand what happened, I received vague, noncommittal responses that offered no real explanation. The issue isn’t the money — we paid it immediately once we became aware of it. The real problem is their complete lack of communication and questionable business practices. Terrible experience — I will never rent from them again.

      Hertz in Killeen TX. Had a reservation for today, called to let them know I wasn't making it til3 to 4 o'clock because of Houston traffic. They said no problem be there before 530. We were there a little after 3 and they were closed so no rental. Called the number they sent in my text message and they would accept my cc said it HAD to be American express or Go Bank card or go to the dollar tree a d buy a prepaid Visa. (SCAM) IM SURE. talked to the lady at Enterprise and she also said it sounded like a scam cause she had never heard of rental places doing it like that. Now im stuck in TX having to put money out for a hotel and adjust plans. Thank you Enterprise for helping us out with the rental even though we can't leave til next day.

      Do not rent from Hertz here at this location. They are committing fraud and billing customers for gas even if they return the car full, the option I chose and always have on my profile. A friend told me to take a picture of the fuel gauge and save my receipt as they had billed him and another person he knew even though they returned it full. So, I did the same as there was no one in the returns to confirm it was full. No one attended the returns at all. Sure enough, the receipt came and there it was $47 dollars for gas. I immediately contacted Hertz and submitted the photos. I was told to get back in a day or two as they received the proof and could adjust my bill and remove the charge. Now a day later I got another email from another person who said they must get in touch with the location to investigate further. There is nothing to investigate. I returned it more than full, have irrefutable proof and submitted it and it was accepted. No apology, no explanation. This is nothing more than fraud bilking their customers in hopes that they do not see it or do not take photos and save receipts. I have been a customer for decades using Hertz and while there are hiccups in service, they did not try to steal my money and then delay returning it. Hertz BWI needs to be investigated, or someone should investigate a class action litigation viability!
