    6/18/25: I needed to renew my passport.******** looked like government agency.When I realized it was not the government I immediately canceled my application with EasyForm and left their *********** charged $$67.88 on *** I want a full refund

    I ******d "US Passport Renewal" and this was the first website that popped up on ****** search. I gave this company all my personal information (including my Social Security Number) and paid them $88.83 only for them to give me forms that I could have gotten on the US Government's website for FREE. I froze all my credit accounts in response and have issued a new debit card because I'm worried they are going to defraud me with my personal information.

    Hello,

    I received a response to my claim stating that the business has been closed, but they are operating out of the website URL *********************. I was able to receive a refund by directly contacting them and they responded to me - which I would presume indicates they are, indeed, not closed as a business. The transaction on my bank statement was listed as **********************************, so they are related. It's also important to note that this exchange happened on 7/30/25, and that ****** had promoted their website to me when I searched for Passport renewals.

    Also, because this company has my social security number and debit card info, I froze all my credit accounts and requested a new debit card.

    This is a scam. They impersonate a government website and copycat a government web form only to charge and have the dupe then mail the form to the government. The use an official sounding webpage with a .org address that is the top result on ******. They do not respond to customer service outreach.

    I regret to say I was duped into thinking ********************* was a legitimate government site. A ****** Search reveals that there are multiple news reports and complaints about this scam company, including on the BBB site itself. I was charged $67.88 for generating a passport renewal form for my wife (**** ***** *****) that I could get for free from the legitimate government site. I am seeking a refund, and will also file a dispute with my credit card company. The order number I received was OI6AFFNYHBEX. This occurred on 7/27 @ 12:37pm. This came from email address ********************************************************************************.

    Thanks for the response.  It's interesting that you say they are out of business, because I sent them an email requesting a refund, and --- to my surprise --- they responded that they'd take care of it, and it does appear it has been credited back to my card account.  A good result.

    My card was used to pay for this and I never even filled out an easy form filler they used my information and everything my social security all go that was stolen from my wallet and now someone is using my card to fill out a easy form filler for a passport

    I went to renew my passport online today, July 25, 2025. This website got all the following inofrmation from me: full name, date of birth, address, full names of both parents, credit card information that's linked to my bank. They charged me $67.88 then sent me the renewal forms. When I saw it cost an extra $130 to get the passport, I called the website and she informed me the $67.88 was simply to fill out the forms online. I asked for a refund. She asked if I'd like to receive 25% off to still use the forms. I declined and wanted the full refund. I received an email shortly after stating that the refund will take 5-7 business days. Though I should be receiving a refund, I'm now nervous that the information I provided will be used for anything including identity theft.

    I was charged $88 to "process" my US Passport application through *****************************. I care less about the money and more about the information that was taken from me. Is this a reputable website or is it a phishing site?

    I was trying to apply for a new passport and was directed to a site which appeared to be the way to apply online for a passport. After I filled out the information requested (which included a lot of very personal information which I expected as I thought I was applying for a passport) and paid the required fee, I received an email saying that these were my pre-filled out forms, which now would need to be submitted to actually apply for the passport at an additional charge. This website's "service" appears to be a complete scam to get payment for filling out forms which I now found out are are available for free from the government website directly which I actually thought I was using.
