This business has impersonated a website to look like official government website. THIS WAS THE FIRST SITE DISPLAYED IN SEARCH RESULTS ON ******. This is misleading. This website came across as a legitimate place to renew my passport. I filled out the questions, they then requested $88.00 just for a PDF copy of the actual passport renewal documents, which I did not realize once I had paid the $88.00 that would need to mail everything along with attaching a passport photo and paying $130.00 for the actual renewal fee. I later found out the real legitimate website is all done online with no PDF documents to fill out and the actual and only fee for passport renewal of $130.00 and everything is done online. This was very misleading and I will have to dispute the charge thru my credit card company.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: they say they have no record but they sent an email with the order #. This business is passing themselves off as the actual **** website of renewing your passport and you dont realize until they send the pdf copy of the forms to send for your passport. This is done when they already collected extra money and you have to pay the official amount of renewing your passport. This is very shady practices and I have been feeling very uneasy because they request a information such as social security numbers, birthdays, and parents info as well.

I was attempting to renew my passport online and when I clicked on this link and provided my credit card info for the fees it was just for a prefilled out form not to submit it which is what I was under the impression of. Purchased a passport "application" on August 6th, 2025 for $85.83. This website is EXTREMELY misleading as you are not paying for the application but rather for a PDF document that you can get for free from the correct government website. The link to this website appears to look similar to the government site when looking up passport applications. I have contacted the business for a full refund (according to their policy on their website). It's scary knowing a lot of personal information was entered to this site, that is not an official government site, and the potential of what they could do with it.Initial Complaint

This company is a scam. The ********************* website is misleading and masquerades as a government site to complete a form that is available for free on a government site. It was the first result on a Safari search, which is why I selected it. I am contacting the company for a refund and will be monitoring identity information. Business posed/presented itself as a government website. No matter how I tried to fill out the DS-11, it always opened up via form filled and required a payment to proceed. ALL sensitive/personal information has been in their possession. I did not and will not need assistance completing a free form. While attempting to renew my US Passport online, the EZ-Form-Filler service presented itself in such a way that it 'took over' the screen I had previously been completing - to the extent that I did not even realize that I was no longer on the US Passport site. It wasn't until I couldn't find the option to pay for expedited service that I realized I'd been scammed. I tried to stop payment with my credit card provider, but they deemed that - although it was misleading practice on EZ Form Filler's part - I was still liable for the charge. I feel their use of the 'takeover ad' amounts to fraudulent business practice.
