I was trying to renew my passport and clicked into easy-form-filler site as it was the first to show up in a search to renew passport on May 27th, 2025 . They disguised themselves as a government site and did not realize my mistake until after I paid ***** for my passport renewal (Confirmation # RMBJWNA1ZI06). This charge went through on June 1st, 2025. I am emailing the company current to ask for a full refund and for them to delete my information as they have gathered highly sensitive information from me including SSN and passport numbers, as well as my credit card information.Customer Answer

I am reaching out to say that my issue with Easy Form Filler has been resolved. I was able to send a contact message from their site requesting a refund and for them to erase me from their system. I thought I was on a government website to fill out my passport application, but it was a scam that charged me to fill out a free passport application form. I then submitted my passport thinking I had paid the passport fee and it was returned to me saying I had not paid the fee. I believed I was renewing my passport through a government website and that I was paying $67.88 as part of that fee. I would never have paid that much for them to have entered my information onto a pdf form that I would have to print and mail to the passport office along with a check for the full renewal fee. This company disguises themselves as a passport renewal service when all they are is a SCAM! They charged me $88.83 as a service fee to fill in a PDF that I could have done myself! They now have sensitive personal information that could be used and/or sold to commit identity theft! There are so many of the same complaints as mine yet they are allowed to continue to scam people.Initial Complaint

I went online to find forms to renew my son's passport and I ended up on the ************************************ website, which was called something else but was posing as the government site for renewing passports. I unfortunately did not check the browser to make sure it was a .gov site, which is my fault but I feel like I was duped into paying money ($85.83) for a passport form (which apparently the government doesn't charge for) and I put in my son's ss# and other personal information which I am worried about them having. This feels like phishing for money and information that could be used for identity theft. I would like my money back and would like this site shut down.Customer Answer

I was searching for the **************** to apply for a passport. This site is impersonating the State Department and I paid the fees it asked for. It wasn't until I received an email instructing me to print out the forms and make an appointment that I realized I had been scammed.They now have all my personal information! I am writing to formally request a full refund for the $88.83 I was charged by Easy Form Filler.The website presents itself in a way that strongly suggests it is affiliated with the official *************** passport services. Based on its appearance and layout, I believed I was on an official site to renew my passport. However, it became clear only after payment that the fee was not for the passport renewal itself, but rather for filling out a form that is otherwise freely available.This critical detail was not clearly disclosed prior to payment, which I believe is misleading and deceptive. I would not have proceeded with the transaction had I known the true nature of the service.Please process a full refund at your earliest convenience. I needed to renew my and my husband's passports and order a new passport for our daughter. On 4/19/25 I did a search in ****** and this company was first to show up. They are disguised as a government site and I did not realize until I had to schedule the passport photos that I did not infact use a government site to process our passport applications. I received emails with our passport applications and order comfirmation numbers for the 3 of us (POX6PR4TAOWG, YAVNQC8XHD14, MK0NMLWVJGJK); however, I never received confirmation or receipt of payment and had to review bank statments to gather that information. I was charged $85.83 for each order, totaling $257.49. Those charges went through on 4/23/25. I did email the company asking for a full refund and for them to delete my and my family's accounts/ information from their database, as they gathered highly sensitive information including SSNs, Passport numbers, and credit card information.Customer Answer

On 6/2/2025 I googled passport application. I clicked on the first link and it looked legit and where I was supposed to be. I filled out the application, paid for what i thought was the application fee and then quickly realized I had paid for them to fill out the application for me me which is a free service on the government passport site. I paid $64.88 for absolutely nothing. I understand I was in the wrong for not reading all the way through, but this site should not be available to use when the service is free. On March 7 2025 I applied for a passport I wanted to do expedited shipping which was $60 and the processing fee which was ***** when informed from the actual **************** that my application should have been free and that I had applied through a third party company and should recieve my money back (no acknowledgement of that) this company told me that the $***** that was tooken from me is simply for the FREE APPLICATION and that the option for expedited shipping has nothing to do with them due to not being able to accept government fees. I requested a refund for them to tell me I had 60 days to request a refund even though we are maybe 2 weeks over the due date. Im angry because why give me the option for expedited shipping when it clearly had nothing to do with so. So now I have to pay more money for passport and expedited shipping on top of another $35 application fee which is absurb when I just spat out ***** FOR THIS APPLICATION FEE why would I be charged again please refrain from using this company Im waiting for a supervisor if there is one to reach out and recrify this issue the employees have been NO HELP at all
