      My experience with PODS over the last six months has been the most absurd, unprofessional, and disappointing saga I've ever experienced with any brand. The number of errors the company has made, and their unwillingness to make my family whole, is astounding. It was bad when PODS failed to deliver our containers on the originally-scheduled date––so that my two young kids (ages 2 and 5) didn't have beds to sleep in for their first three nights in a new town and starting at new schools--but it was even worse when they strung me along for the last *four* months, suggesting that I would be reimbursed for costs incurred due to their botched service, only to refund to my credit card a FRACTION of the amount originally promised, and with zero further communication or recourse. I've followed their dispute protocol, submitted receipts, and I've been civil to the customer service representatives the entire time. After months of trying to recover my family's losses, I now will have to take the company to small claims court, which is a waste of both my and their time, and could be avoided if PODS would just provide fair and thoughtful customer service. Instead, they've beed dodgy, cheap, inaccessible, sloppy, and deceitful. I paid THOUSANDS of dollars to PODS to move my family last summer--the least the company could do is reimburse the cost of a hotel and rescheduling my movers.

      I am in receipt of your correspondence concerning PODS customer, **********************   On January 25th, 2023, contact to discuss the issue was initiated with *********************  in order to address concerns as to the previous resolution that had been provided to the claim.

      The worst experience with a shady company ever. They help themselves to your account continually taking out money that is not on the signed contract. We had a banker call them to try to straighten this out. Now they wont take our calls of tell us when they warehouse is open to drop off the paperwork and arrange for delivery. They wont return our calls and no one answers at the warehouse. We had no info as to when the pod crossed the border and then no idea it was here so we have paid for many many months of rental for a pod we wanted emptied long time ago. Now they have managed to delay our dropping off the paperwork to get the pod by 3 weeks which means they will get another month or two rent out of us. We as in there of is were told by **** that we would not get changes another months rent since it was their error in not informing us of its location and arrival. Well they did charge. We did lock our credit card now becaue they were pulling 1,000$ payment for monthly rent that is about 400$. They are always polite and always BS you about a refund. It never works out and we have paid almost double the contract and we se currently locked out and cant even see our pod or account. Its like they have our goods as hostage and we are forced to pay whatever amount they make up. They have gone so far from the contract its an expensiveness upsetting. joke. This is a Scam. Does one have to get a lawyer to get their belongings or just pay what they want not what is on the contract? We were told **** at the warehouse was so good and would get back to us about when we could meet him there. He has not called back once. He answered the phone once. Never there. Its like extortion and if you are looking for a moving company its my opinion that they will rip you off for all the can.

      On 01/07/2022 A pods container For Moving Deliverd to Illinois Address We did not have forwarding address but thought our move would be from Illinois to Las Vegas and was quoted a price The container was later picked up on and went to storage in Bensenville, Ilinois. Once I learned the move to Las Vegas was not going to happen. I contacted Pods Informed of the address here in Illinois and was told another invoice would be created, I asked about the cost and the bill was paid in Full. A request for the container to be delivered to Itasca, Illinois Was on 01/28/2022 the container was delivered within two days of the initial call. The Final Pick up of Container from the residence Apartments of Itasca, Illinois was on 02/01/2022. So, the problem is the first invoice they have put me into collections for amount of $2,236.86 which is for transportation fee from Ilinois to Vegas this move never happened. I called Pods on 02/24/2022 asked why i was being charged for the amount of $2,236.86 they said it was for transportation fee to Las Vegas. She did apologize and said they were having billing Issues. A refund of said amount would take 5-10 business days. My Total Time for this call was 29 minutes. Made 2 calls on 08/04/2022 one from my phone number waited 19 minutes hung up. called from my Husbands phone waited 36 minutes it was a recording of a you will be helped next. On 12/14/2022 I got a call from a collection agency about amount due to Pods $2,236.86. Again, I am explaining that this is incorrect, and the move never happened.

      On December 7, 2022, I scheduled a move or transfer of my 8 cu. ft. container from the warehouse in **********, ** to my new home in *****, **. It somehow got cancelled within an hour and no one knew why.The only way I found out was because I was being charged for a container I never requested and the person who took care of that discovered the cancellation. The phone agents are either poorly trained or completely incompetent. I experienced the same horribly unprofessional service as have other reviewers.I was able to reschedule the move if I wanted for more money at which point I said I wanted to file a complaint. After a quick in house investigation, I was told I could have the original quote but by then I had absolutely no trust in PODS and stopped considering them to get it out to *******.Hopefully, they won't lose it in the warehouse but that's the safest place for it.I agree with the negative sentiments of other reviewers.

      Im having a very bad experience with Pods. I contacted them 9-2022, to use there container and explained to the representative the amount of stuff I had and the size I needed. Needless to say, I was given the wrong information and they brought the container to my address and wasnt large enough. The movers was there when they showed up, therefore I couldnt cancel. I had to get another storage unit from another vendor on top of theres. I file a claim and was promised someone would reach back out to me and no o e ever did. They keep closing the claim and I keep calling back and someone would open another. I finally spoke with someone this week and they told me that and email was sent from a representative with a name that I would have never known denying my claim. How do you put someone in a position to spend money as such and not take responsibility. They left the pods two days pass the time of pick up and I was charged by my landlord extra for that and theyre not taking responsibility for that either. This is ridiculous and something and someone needs to handle this immediately . I be spoken to several representative there and just getting the run around. The same was you want to get paid for your business, reciprocate the same to your customers when some goes wrong and not ignore the problem.

      Absolute worst-run company. They failed to arrive to my house the day scheduled due to "traffic" and charged me anyway. Then they scheduled another dropoff the next day and charged me a double charge. Then made me wait a week to refund the incorrect first charge. When we arrived at the new house, they picked up the pod and 2 weeks later decided to charge me another month's rent saying "we didn't pick up the pod". It was picked up by a Pod truck and brought back to the warehouse but they can't find it. So they say the warehouse manager has to physically go around looking for it and won't refund my money until he finds it. Even though they've had it for 2 weeks. Oh, and the warehouse manager hasn't been to work in days. So I have to wait for him to come back from wherever he is. I am not allowed to speak to a manager or anyone else. So instead I'm filing a dispute with my bank and putting a lock on my account so Pods cannot place any charges to my account ever again. Stay as far away from this company as possible.

      We moved from the U.S. to Ontario, leaving Nov, 2021 and taking possession of our Canadian home end of March, 2022. We had arranged for delivery of the first of three pods on Mar 29th, but the PODS people forgot. Our unloading team waited around until 5pm when the GM arrived and attempted to operate the equipment. We were also told our driveway was too narrow for two pods to be delivered at the same time, so we had to pay an additional $400 to the movers for an extra day. FYI when they dropped off the second pod, they put it beside the first one, on the driveway. When questioned, the driver said he had lots of room. FYI the import paperwork was screwed up, and only fixed because the border agents worked with us to create new paperwork when we crossed over in to Canada. We noticed that PODS made multiple withdrawals from our bank account, returning some of the money, and keeping more than we had receipts for. End of March. '22 we finished the unloading. End of April, '22 we received a call saying if we didn't pay an additional $500 for storage of our goods they would be sold at auction. When I called and told them all goods were delivered a month earlier, they seemed confused but went away. Now, 9 months later I got a call from a collection agency wanting $400 more for some unnamed fee. No paperwork, no emails, no bills, just a collection agency demanding I send them a cheque. I told them I thought this was another of those 'senior' scams phishing for money from unsuspecting seniors. They assured me it was really PODS but had no idea what the $400 was for. FYI there are a lot more operational and cost issues we have experienced with PODS, but these are some of the low points. They have no idea what they are doing and have no idea how to run a business.

      My PODS account number is **SSN**. We paid almost $21,000 ** to move our belongings from **********, ** to *******, ******. Now, months after the March 30th, 2022 date when our belongings were delivered , we have a collection agency calling us to say we owe an additional $300. Is this a scam or is it real. No documentation was provided, just a statement showing some of the valid charges and a demand for payment.

      Hard to take action with everything blacked out. For anyone reading, don't risk your furniture, peace of mind or credit rating by using PODS. It's not worth it.

      Pods delivered a *** to an address down the road from me. the electrical wires to our older homes are not as high as newer homes. The *** driver entered the area from the new homes and delivered his ***. He then left on my end which has lower lines at a high level of speed bouncing up and down with no pod through my street pulling down the electrical wires to my home with the large pieces that stick up to hold the ***. He kept going! A fire was started and I called the fire department and the police. The pod damaged the outside of my home and appliance that were inside on a certain breaker. I notified Pod immediately as I and my neighbors saw the driver do it. I filed a claim with them. I sent in a letter, police reports, and damages. FPL rehung the wire after I repaired my home for free but they dont cover my home. They have sent back a email message stating my claim is denied according to my contract when I have informed them I dont have a contract with them. A lady by the name of ****** said that speaks for all the executives and has provided no other information despite my request. If this is not resolved here I will file a claim with small claims court. You cant just damage someones property running your business and not pay for it! ***** P

      It's been a nightmare and so stressful month dealing with PODS. Prior to 11/28/22, I had communicated to them to pick up the container on 10/31/22 for delivery from North Carolina to California. Instead of delivering it, they store it in their warehouse and did not provide me any updates. I complained on 11/11/22 and never got to speak to a manager. The customer representative finally scheduled for delivery on 11/14/22 and the arrived date was set to be on 11/30/22. The container was also scheduled to be picked up on the same day. However, on 11/29/22 one day prior to the arrival date, I got an updated email that they changed the picked up date to 12/1/22 and they posted on the invoice of a storage fee of $259. I was upset. I inquire why they can't picked up on the same day and they make excuses.They only can pick up on the same day but there is a charge of $699. Since I lived in an HOA community there is no way I can have the container be parked in the driveway for an overnight blocking the tenants cars. They knew my situation. They did it purposely, so they can either charge me a storage fee of $259 or $699. This is unethical. I had no choice but to accept $699. But on that same day I contacted the City and was able to get a permit to park the container on the street for overnight. I spoke to a customer representative on that day and it was set to be overnight picked up instead. Yet they still billed me for $520 (net $179 from $699).This is unethical and someone needs to remove the charges immediately!!**************

      I have spoken to a customer representative on the phone. Her name is ****** and she say she will remove the refund. I received an email from pods.com saying that they are working on the refund. I still got a charge of $699. Nothing has been done.

      Not sure where to begin but my experience has been a complete failure on the customer service end. *** had an open complaint ticket since July of 2022 and I still dont have resolution. Ive literally called over a dozen times, have sent countless emails and yet they have no method to expedite a heightened situation. They claim someone will reach out but they dont. I had to be assigned a second specialist because the first never properly handled things and my second specialist has ghosted me.They dont even talk to you even when requested..its by email and its literally work to contact them for answers. Just constant excuses of why they havent gotten back or dont have an answer for you. I have thorough notes and documentation, but they really have no sense of urgency or sensitivity during one of the most stressful times in life moving. There are other competitive options ... save yourself from hours of frustration.
