This company refuses to give a refund, claiming I skipped the trial period. I was, in fact, charged for the trial period (which is 7 days) then charged a week later the monthly charge, even though I cancelled it immediately following the test results. I sent proof of this via email and they still refuse to refund me! They copy and paste the same response to every email you send. No phone number to speak to anyone. Completely scamming people. DO NOT USE THEM!Initial Complaint

I clicked on an ad for an IQ test on Instagram. The process was deceiving. They say you can take the test for $1 and then oddly charge you for $0.50 twice. They are not upfront and obvious about what they're doing. They are tricking unsuspecting people into an automatic subscription. I contacted the seller for a refund explaining the situation and misunderstanding but they refuse to provide a refund even though I didn't even access their website after taking the test.Initial Complaint

A simple $1 IQ test turned into a $29.99 monthly charge. I was unaware of the continual charge per month, which should have been made up front. I have requested a cancellation from the company. I would like to help others in this same position, as many like me, probably would not read the fine print.Thank you for your attention in this matter. ***** ******Initial Complaint

While on ******** I saw a post to get your IQ for $1 so I approved this charge. However, without my knowledge, CerebrumIQ sent an email telling me they would charge me $29.99 if I didn't cancel within 7 days. I had no reason to think I needed to check my email for this scam, so I was not aware of the charge until I saw it had been paid with ******. I immediately cancelled this scam of a subscription, and then messaged the company regarding this unauthorized charge, and asked for the proof of my consent. They told me the billing team could give me this info. So I asked how to get ahold of them, and then I was told that there really wasn't a billing team, so therefore nothing would be done.Initial Complaint

On 8/20/25, I received a notification from my Apple Credit Card that there was a charge of .50 that I needed to approve from Cerebrium IQ. I declined this charge, as I had no idea what it was and thought someone was attempting to put through a small fishing scam charge first before attempting a larger scam charge. I figured I had thwarted the attempt and blew it off, since I have it set up to approve any and all charges before they can go through to prevent such things from happening. Then, on 8/29/25, 8/30/25, and 9/4/25, this same business attempted to put through a charge of $29.99. I did an online search and found that this is in fact a business, and one of the search suggestions was "I did not authorize this charge." I clicked on it, and it stated that you did in fact authorize the charge when you accepted a 7 day trial and must click another link to cancel. This is a blanket statement to anyone who clicked this link. I have never started a 8 day trial and again, have no idea what this business does or why they are charging me. At this point, I'm afraid to even click a cancel link because 1) that would imply I had started something to cancel, which I did not, and 2) if they are willing to do something this dishonest to begin with, I don't want them having additional personally identifying information that they can use. What I want right now is for them to stop charging my card and no further contact from this business. This is ridiculous and fraud. There is no order number or tracking number of any kind that was submitted to my card - all that was showing was the web address.Initial Complaint

I opened an account with ******************** for IQ testing. Im satisfied and have paid for the service. They include a subscription and state that it can be cancelled. Ive been trying to cancel for a few months. They have a site to cancel however it does not recognize any email I try to login to which includes where they sent test results and have sent automated replies. They have a phone number and support email. The phone number is always busy. The email never has anything more than automated replies. *** filed complaints with my credit card company to no avail, charges have now increased from them. I now have to cancel that card and start a new account. This company is an obvious scam. With no way to cancel the account I will continue to receive automated charges of $9.99, twice per month. Which yesterday suddenly became 3 charges.Initial Complaint

I used to take the original Cerebrum. My doctor asked me to stop, saying it was a scam product. I wrote the company for a refund with nobredults. Now I see two or three minimum charges for the same product with an added figure at the end. Total scammers!Initial Complaint

Company ruses you to pay $1 for an iq tests and then charges you monthly but doesnt have it clearly marked on the website that they will charge you a monthly subscription. This is bad business practice and they should be forced to do a disclaimer and let people know about future charges openly.
