Online service, try signing up for their trial version at 99 cents. Subscription did not go through, was not allowed access. Was still charged .50. Did not cancel my subscription as I said. Try charging me $12.99 for monthly subscription 5 times after repeated requests to cancel my subscription. I even told them I was going to contact the BBB because of how difficult it was to cancel my subscription and not be charged.Initial Complaint

I paid **************************************** July. Since then they have taken 15 dollars a week from me for a total of 90 dollars . I have been trying to cancel my subscription but all I get is a bot reply with no way to talk to an actual person. It is a scam. I want them to stop taking my money.Initial Complaint

This company says I signed up for subscription that I did not sign up for. When trying to contact them, they do not have a phone number that you can call. They said that I do not have an account with them with the emails I have provided. I also providedthem information from my email account. I have not heard back from them. I'd be happy to help you locate your account so we can assist with your request.I wasn't able to find an active subscription with the information provided so far. To help me track down your exact account details, could you please share:Any email addresses you might have used when signing up with us The first 6 digits of the card you used for payment The last 4 digits of that same card I notice you've provided a ****** billing agreement ID. This website called cerebrum iq popped up while I was online and I took the test then it said to enter my email which I did then asked for me to pay one dollar to see the results, I tried to exit then it immediately went to Apple Pay, scanned my face took payment. I did not worry, it was only a dollar then, a week later it charged $14.99 twice from my apple card. I did not sign up for this and why would anyone. I tried calling the number I found online but cant reach anyone, there was no contact info. on my Apple Pay charge. I tried to log in to their account from ****** and None of my emails are working to sign in so I have no way to stop the subscription. I called apple wallet but they were unhelpful, simply froze my account but cant stop the subscription that I didnt lawfully sign up for. This is a total scam and this company needs to refund my money, This is definitely a lesson. This is awful and after looking them up I have realized that this is a common issue. Total scam. They have been charging me 9.99 every week since April 3rd 2025, after a .99 cent trial. I didnt realize the charges on my ****** account (on me - I should have looked at the account) until June. I sent an email on June 19th with ALL my emails (I joined through a ******** ad of theirs) and they continue to say the are unable to locate the account. This apparently is a common problem with them when you do a ****** search as many people have reported issues. I provided the ****** transaction so that they are able to locate the account that way. Its been over a month and they continued to take out funds even though I sent another email (with transaction numbers) on July 10th. 2/26/25 - I took a Cerebrium IQ quiz and was charged .99 cents. I certainly I did not agree to any other obligation, subscriptions, etc. The following month - March 2025 - this company tried to charge me $19.99, when it declined, they tried 5 more times that same month to retrieve $19.99 out of my account and each month after. multiple times a month. Since these charges were on my Apple Cash card that I do not use, the funds were not available, however, I only noticed this when I did try to use my Apple Cash card. I cannot add money to this account until the issue is resolved. When I tried to investigate further into it, under the details of each transaction it only shows a Transaction ID #. I called ***** and they too could not find any detailed information on their side of the transaction history to give me. No phone number, website address, address, nothing, beside a the beginning of a website: ********* - that is it. When I tried looking this company up, the two listed phone numbers were not in service: ************** and ****************. There is also a website provided, stating to log into to cancel your subscription, to get help with an issue, or speak to a live agent. This is FALSE. When I clicked on the link (which I do not advise) it does not provide anything listed in the detailed description nor is the company name displayed. Looks more like a landing page/scamming site for something else. The site is also based in a foreign language. Also would like to state that there was never a subscription anywhere. It is not listed as ever being downloaded or installed from the App Store, or a purchase was ever made. Date of Transactions:May 14, 2025; May 21, 2025; May 28, 2025; June 4, 2025; June 11, 2025; June 18, 2025; June 25, 2025; July 2, 2025 Amount Paid:A total of $119.92 USD was debited from my account in eight separate transactions of $14.99 each.What the business committed to provide me:To the best of my knowledge, I did not enter into any binding agreement for ongoing paid services with this company. If any sign-up did occur, it was for a free, one-time IQ test trial. There is no evidence of my informed consent for recurring billing or subscription services. At no point did I knowingly authorize repeated weekly charges.What the nature of the dispute is:The dispute concerns unauthorized, recurring charges to my account, without my explicit consent, for services I neither requested nor utilized. These repeated debits represent a pattern of predatory billing practices that I believe constitute fraudulent or deceptive business conduct.Whether or not the business has tried to resolve the problem:I contacted the business by email three times on July 2, 2025, requesting an immediate refund of these unauthorized charges. I have attached the relevant communications as supporting documentation. To date, no satisfactory response has been provided.If the issue involves advertising, when and where was the ad seen or heard:I believe I encountered an advertisement for CerebrumIQ on Instagram and may have clicked on it from my phone. Instagram only retains data on user interactions with ads for a limited period of approximately one month, and I no longer have access to those records. Furthermore, I have no emails in my Gmail account confirming any sign-up or account creation. The only related documentation I can locate is a certificate visible in my online CerebrumIQ account.I have since cancelled my "subscription" as of 7/3/2025, but there is no feature in my online account to remove my credit card or close my account.See supporting documentation attached.
