1 starI was tricked into a contract which I did not find out about until months later. I keep asking for a receipt and did not receive until after 2 months later. I requested my service be stopped and my card not charged but was not honored. They charged my card again and I finally removed it from their webpage. I called 3-4 times and spoke with representatives to get this resolved but was always told I would get a call back which I never did. Today I finally talked with someone and was told the company shut down but they are still up and running with the Hawx name. He helped the situation somewhat but I am still required to pay money to stop the contract even though the so called company is dissolved. The man says he works for Proforce. The webpage company name is Hawx by Proforce. So he lied to me as well as the salesman who started the contract even though.

this was a **** customer is a new company ******************** pest we have brought over the existing customers we took over oct of 2024 look like cx was lied to from the Sales *** telling cx it was a 1 time service. profoce pest was able to close out the acct per cx request.Review fromPatti D.

1 starHawx did not provide pest control servicing as promised. They solicited door to door in our new neighborhood. They promised outstanding service on a quarterly basis, including mosquitos, fire ants, knock downs, planters, etc. They made an initial service, but we had to call them back to provide the *************** ant service that was promised but not provided. They charged our credit card monthly at $59.99, for the quarterly service. After 4 months, no one had returned to provide the quarterly service. When I contacted them to inquire, I was met with an attitude and told that service was scheduled for 10/16/23. I told their representative that I was not happy with being almost a month late on services that have been paid for. She shrugged it off with no explanation, that's when it was scheduled. The day came and went. Today, we attempted to call them for 1 1/2 hours, starting at 8:05am. We kept getting a recording to call back during business hours of 8am-5pm. We were clearly within that time. When we finally got someone on the phone, she argued with us for 10 minutes about our request to cancel our service, since they did not provide the service promised and they were difficult to get ahold of. She stated they were "only" a month late. They were too busy. They could not call all the customers they missed last month because they have thousands, even millions. When we demanded to cancel the account for lack of service, she did offer to refund one month's fees, again stating they were "only" one month late. I told her I didn't give her a chance to be any later by calling repeatedly. Ultimately, they charged a cancelation fee of $199 to get out of the contract. However, I do not have any written confirmation of the cancelation at this time. I would stay away from Hawx and any other company that wants to bill you monthly for services provided quarterly. 1 starIf I could give this company 0 stars, this would be where I would start. They do not fulfill contract obligations with quarterly pest control services. Consumers are charged for services that have not been completed. In the past, I have needed to reach out to Hawx Pest Control to come out to my residence regarding additional ant issues due to the lack of service. The company added on additional charges which should have been covered within the contract requirements. Do not go with this company if you are looking for pest control related services in South Florida.
