    Left recent employer almost 2 months ago and filed to have 401k distribution from Slavic on May 25. Was told 10 to 15 business days. Memorial day was in this time frame, which I understand. However, when I call and ask about the funds, they give me the run around. I have been told for over 2 weeks I should receive my money. Called this past Monday and was told the funds had been traded and I should expect to see money by Wednesday. No money that day, so i called and they told me it hadn't been traded Monday but that day and it would take 1 to 3 days to see it. Friday comes and no money, call them AGAIN and they told me the funds had to go back to Fidelity then come to me. Called Fidelity and they told me nothing was sent to them and to call Slavic back. Call back and am told they didn't send it to Fidelity and that it was still processing and I won't see the money til MAYBE next Wednesday. I don't understand why they are holding my money like this (95% of it was from a previous 401k that had been rolled over). I am pulling all my money out of them as soon as I receive the distribution funds. Highly DO NOT recommend this company.

    After many months and nightmares of attempting to end relations with this company, I was promised to get a call back and answers. Slavic 401k literally record themselves lying on the phone frequently (multiple times/accounts)Their transparency with individuals retirement is skewed to say the least.. Funds on a steady growth losses 3k shortly after requesting a liquidation? After 4 years of climbing? Highly suspect. Folks, it's been the worst experience with any 401k investors and I advise you to dodge this company. I'm still waiting for them to do their job and they clearly have no concern.

    Seems like I have the same issue as everyone else, rollovers or distributions take FOREVER.I am on the 15th business day since they claim the checks were mailed, but I still have not seen them.One can send a regular letter to ****** in less than 5 business days, I am sure a letter from ** to *** would not take 15 business days to arrive, so the only logical explanation is that they lie to you when you call, the website lies about the status of the distribution, all lies, the poorest kind of customer service.Please stay away if possible!

    Hi *******, thank you for reaching out. Our customer service team researched this case and found that the mailing address for the rollover company that was provided to us was incorrect. This has since been corrected and confirmed by you, and we put a stop payment on the old check and issued a new one. You should have spoken with someone from our customer service team regarding this, and received a tracking number for the new check this afternoon.

    STAY AWAY from this company! They can not even do the simplest of things, like POSTING YOUR CONTRIBUTION! It's coming up on the second month since they withdrawn it from my bank, and kept feeding me lies about it being posted! They claim the 'operational' mistake, and keep telling me the same BS every time I inquire about it, ignore my e-mails and calls. Their manager said 'I will let you know when you get it added to your account', and it's been another week now? Is this how this s*** works, because I'm taking my funds and opening an IRA **** with my bank! Every corner of the internet WILL KNOW ABOUT THIS BS BUSINESS, for sure!

    Slavic 401k customer service provides no actual information, as I have been waiting over 15 business days to get information on distribution request. Now they say another 5 business days because of the size which is normal for anyone who has contributed to *** to 401k for 7 years?

Your request has processed, and the tracking number shows that it has already been delivered to the requested address. Our customer service team has submitted a remaining balance request for you as well. Your case has been assigned to our service ambassador and he will monitor and follow up with you once that has been completed. You should have received a phone call and email from him.     My company HR contracted company rolled our 401K over to ****** with no choice and little notice November 21. I lost 24% last year and in speaking with colleagues we all took huge hits in 22, not just in the market but also with ****** fees even on losses. Moving and understanding moving your funds between different stocks, bonds, notes etc is difficult on a very limited website. Now I had to take a Hardship withdrawal. You know when it comes to hardship circumstances are bleak financially and just desperate for most. Website says ***** business days. I submitted the Hardship form, called to get email to send paperwork documents (there requirements, not the government) I was given a general email they all read ?? and held to confirm received. This was 1 May 23. The link tracker sat in stage 2 of 6 and on the 12th business day when I could still see funds in my account and link tracker disappeared I made my 1st call. I was advised must wait 15 business days. Day 15 I call agent ******************* up as she had no suitable answer as to why I couldnt see tracker and why no communication on delay. I called right back and **** lied stating waiting for funds to be returned to them from outside company from sale of my investments. I wait the weekend and 2 more business days (day 17) I wake up to an email from **** that says they cant read my documents. This means in 17 business days nothing was even looked at. I call and get ****** who I advise he cant help me . I need a supervisor, manager a boss. After a long hold Supervisor ***** tells me theres nothing they can do but she will follow personally , promising it wont be another 15 business days. She then starts walking thru clearing cookies to get the website tracker to show status again. Clearing cookies does not work. At 5:10PM the line went silent. Hello, hello 5mins later clearly she hung up. Not a word or email since. Im at 23 business days, money still in Slavic account. To be continued. They are HORRIBLE DONT USE

    Slavic401K I believe criminally holds 401K funds as long as possible when a request is made to rollover to a third-party IRA after leaving employment. I am considering legal action -- I see multiple reviews with the same information. I ask that the BBB investigate these unlawful and unethical practices.

However, we'd like to apologize for the status link being broken online and any customer experience issues you experienced by waiving the overnight delivery fee for your check.     I have been trying to do a distribution with rollover to Fidelity. This has been the most difficult process ever and it shouldnt be this hard! The website is so slow and does not even give you the option to input your bank details for an electronic fund transfer but when you get to the last page it states that you chose no to electronic fund transfer when thats not the case. *** called and spoke to numerous representatives that act like theyre going to help and then hang up on me. None of them has been able to resolved the issue. Im now waiting for my HR **** to contact them on my behalf because at this point theyre holding MY money hostage! Ive done a distribution and rollover at my last job through TransAmerica and it was very simple and quick! This process is ridiculous! And then they make you wait almost 30 days to even submit the request. Im so frustrated! *** never made a complaint but I feel like I have to for this company.

    Can I rate less than one star? I recently requested a partial distribution of my company sponsored 401k (pre-tax only). I called & spoke to a representative & completed their form, showing that the ROTH portion was not to be distributed. I am over 59.5 & no longer work for the employer. They distributed both the pre-tax & ROTH contrary to instructions, never returned phone calls & then stated there was nothing they could do. Absolutely horrible customer service & attention to detail. Worst 401k administrator I have ever worked with.

Because you are no longer employed by the company that has a plan with us, we are unable to process a partial distribution. You can rollover part of the money to another retirement account ***** etc.) and leave the remainder as a distribution to self.     It is cold comfort reading I am not the only one having a very frustrating experience with Slavic401k. Employer changed 401k in July. Chose to use the Fidelity self-directed brokerage option so that I could use my existing Fidelity account to have more investing options. Sent in the request. Waited for a few weeks, nothing. Called, ended up sending in the forms again. An account was finally created in Fidelity. But now I can't get the funds transferred into that Fidelity account. I called in January and after being on hold for over an hour got an answer that the transfer department would send it over the next week. Two months later, I call again as nothing has been transferred. After trying to explain what a self-directed account was, the agent spoke to someone else and said that they would submit the transfer request to the ticket system and I should watch for an email in the next few days and follow the instructions to complete the transfer. Still waiting and it is now mid-April. If you have a choice to not use this company, don't. I have not been able to access my money for at least 6 months using a self-directed option that they offer. I have lost opportunities to invest this money and am about to escalate this to **************************** complaint. I'm done with this slow roll of accessing my money. and don't bother apologizing for your poor service. Just do what you say you're going to do.
