1 starJust like all of the other reviews I have read, this company is absolutely terrible at producing funds after filing a distribution request. It has been almost two months since I put my request in. On top of that, its almost impossible to check on the status of the distribution because when you login on a computer the status page never loads, and good luck trying to use the app, with that it barely lets you login and if you are able to log in it just takes you to a loading page that never actually loads.Slavic401k.com

We received the request on 8/29/2023 and finished processing on 09/15/2023. You should receive the *** transfer between today and Thursday, based on your financial institution's transfer policies. 1 starThe most horrible and dishonest 401K I have ever participated in. Their customer service is horrible and no one knows how to answer simple questions. I am amazed they actually can do business with the level of their staff competence. Do yourself a favor and stay away from them, your money is safer under a mattress or with a loan shark. At least there is a level of integrity with both options.Slavic401k.com

1 starIt takes 15 days to receive YOUR money. They are very slow and I no longer feel comfortable putting my money in their hands. I will be looking elsewhere to build for retirement. If I need access to my funds and I am within the guidelines of the request, I should be able to get to it quickly. I am extremely frustrated with this.Slavic401k.com

Thank you for the feedback. We apologize for the frustration with the timeline it takes to receive a distribution. Our team works as quickly as possible to process distribution requests. However, the reason it can take up to 15 days is there are numerous checks and balances in place that we must work with to comply with IRS regulations. We also must receive information from third parties such as the PEO/employer, and in some cases, it can take time to receive the needed information. That being said, we are always looking for ways to improve process efficiency through technology, and are working on implementing new improvements to help further optimize processing speed. 1 starI filed for a rollover of my 401k in mid July. Slavic notifies you that it may take ***** business days to process. This is already a very long timeline -- put in place to continue to earn interest on the money in their custody.It's been more than 15 business days and no communication from Slavic. I've talked to the customer service team who says they'll "check in with the "processor" to see about the distribution. I'm not holding my breath based on the other reviews here.Slavic401k.com

The reason your rollover took two days longer than the ***** days we state is because your employment had just finished and we have to wait 20 calendar days from your date of employment termination and last payroll before processing the rollover. This ensures no additional contributions are added to your account after your rollover check is cut. The date we were supplied as your last day of work was 07/15/23, which means the account became eligible for rollover on 08/05/23. We processed your rollover request on 08/07/23 and mailed it on 08/08/23. We apologize if the reasoning behind why we had to wait to process the check was not sufficiently explained by our team. 1 starRead the other reviews. EXACT same issue. Tried to rollover Pre-Tax and **** to myself and my new employer and they taxed my distribution, giving me Pre-Tax dollars and a ding when my form said to use **** dollars. I had to do a stop and re-issue with them and have yet to receive new, correct checks 2 months later. When I reply to their protected messages I get emails back asking to resend because they can't open it... It's They're Protected Messaging System!?!?! When I call in the calls keep "dropping" while on the line with a representative and the text-messaging authentication isn't "working" so they have to ask me security questions instead. Every possible thing to do to make this more difficult, they're doing. They are flirting with ERISA violations, and they know it. I've already started communications with a 401K mismanagement attorney. The Slavic representatives I've spoken to on the phone have been kind and tried to help (other than the last two calls that magically keep dropping), but there's someone up the chain calling the shots and holding my funds hostage.Slavic401k.com

1 starIf I could give this zero stars I would. Slavic is the seediest and sketchiest 401K distribution I've ever had an experience with. It has taken me almost two months to get a distribution that at other companies would take maybe 2 weeks. They just kept pushing back the *** everytime I called. Everyone I called gave me completely different answers that were contrary to what other employees told me. AND they were still utilizing my money after my distribution request was processed. Meaning they had my distribution processed and in review, and my account balance was still changing (and lowering). The 'overnight' fee offering is also a completely laughable joke. Even after my distribution was processed and sent out for mailing they still said it's going to be another two days. It's just a way for them to get more money out of you in a predatory way. This whole company is extremely predatory and if you have any **** about you, you'll invest elsewhere. OH and to Slavic: Don't even think about commenting some BS response on this post because I have receipts and will out you. I am telling all of my old coworkers who work there now and have accounts with them to take every single dollar out of their accounts with Slavic, because this company is not to be trusted.Slavic401k.com

1 starExtremely slow process to get your distribution! There has to be a better way between this company and the brokerage firm to handle distributions expeditiously. I need the hardship to pay my sons college tuition. If I knew how SLOW the process is with this company, I would have submitted my request 8 months ago. This is unacceptable and I am forced to use my employers 401k-Now I am seriously considering just rolling everything over into another brokerage account where your funds would be more readily available!!! 1 starThere isn't enough space allowed to adequately describe the amount of ******************* this company has caused my mother. The simple task of receiving a distribution of HER OWN MONEY from her 401k has been an abject nightmare. They have cancelled two distribution requests for no justifiable reason **************** "supposedly" in the process of releasing another distribution. A process that started in May, it is now mid July & STILL no distribution. Meanwhile my mother's bills have stacked up & accrued late fees all due to their negligence. To think she worked for decades in order to have an adequate retirement, only to placed under extreme stress @ 80+ years old is an absolute travesty. 1 starFiled for a distribution from Slavik401k on May 31 and as of today (7/13) I still have not received a check. **************** is worse than useless. They cannot find the check. Only option is to stop and reissue, which will take more weeks and may have the exact same result. Meanwhile my funds remain uninvested.Slavic401k.com

Below is an explanation of the situation:
Your distribution request was processed and issued within the 15 business day guideline disclosed when making the request. The check was mailed via standard mail, which can take up to **** days to receive your check after it is mailed. Unfortunately, are unable to re-issue lost check claims until after the mailing timeframe has expired as we do not have control over mail carrier issues/delays once the check leaves our office. The check re-issue takes 1-2 business days to be processed. We received a call from you on July 13 to check on the status of your check and escalated a re-issue request the same day.The check was printed on Friday, July 14 and sent via overnight delivery on July 18. We apologize for any confusion and inconvenience this may have caused you. Please reach out to the service ambassador you have spoken with if you have any further questions. Thank you.
