Pretty consistent with all the other 1 start reviews. No returned emails or calls. Website doesn't allow me to access my account or transfer funds. I'm no longer with the company that provided the 401K and trying to rollover the funds to another account shouldn't be this hard.

They stole my money. Put in request for distribution on SEPTEMBER 1st and they sent me a **** today stating they sent my funds so WHY do I not have my money? The website says the funds have been processing for 3 months. There's absolutely no excuse, this company is trying to steal from people. No answer on customer service call and the email support is for advertising to new clients not customer support.

    Hello,

Your retirement account was moved away from us on 8/29/22 and sent over to a partner-company called ********* on 9/27/22 to manage your money in an *** account moving foward. This most commonly happens when a participant is no longer eligible to be a part of their current or previous company's 401(k) plan and do not rollover their funds to a new provider within a specified timeframe. However, there can be other reasons as well. You should've received a notice of this in the mail with instructions to rollover or cash out your funds. When the money is not moved prior to the deadline in the notice, it is sent to ********* to manage on your behalf. Our records with ********* show that they issued you checks via electronic transfer on 10/7/22 for your accounts. If you did not receive the money, please contact ********* directly at **************.

I have had an account with Slavic for 3 years. My company I work for has changed companies we run our 401K through. I have been trying to move my money from Slavic to TD Ameritrade since 8/16/22. Slavic keeps denying my request. They will not call me back from multiple voicemails or respond to my emails to help me with this. I don't know what I can do from here but I am very disappointed to say the least. I would strongly suggest using a company that you are actually able to have someone working with you.

Glad Im not the only one. Im just trying to access my account, but in order to do that I need to provide a pin number which they will text to you. However, they have the wrong number so I cant access my account. Ive called multiple times with it for over hours. Nobody has time for that this is ridiculous. I just wanted to access my account but once I do, I am getting my money out of their horrible customer service.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I have spent more than two hours on hold attempting to reach a representative. There are no easy options on their online portal to begin a rollover. I just started working for a new employer, and they partner with a different financial group. I need to transfer my funds ASAP and cannot wait to get away from this awful company. This company doesnt allow account-specific information to be discussed over email, and they wont answer the phone. What do you expect the customer to do? This company is a scam looking to keep your money for as long as they can.

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us and we apologize for the wait on the phone. We are taking steps to try to limit the wait during this busy time of year as best we can. As for your rollover question, you can submit a request online without having to talk to anyone. Once you are logged in to your account, please click on "Withdrawals" in the blue menu ribbon at the top of your screen. Next, select the "Distribution Request" option on the center of the page. From there, follow the prompts until you reach a screen that will show you distribution options. If you would like to rollover the full amount of your 401(k) into your new employer's plan or an *** not held with us, please select the Qualified Retirement Plan Rollover Distribution option. Please make sure you have the company name and account number for the ********************** account you plan to roll the funds into. Once you submit your request, it generally takes ***** business days for your rollover to be processed and another few days for the new company to receive the check in the mail.

We also offer a helpful step-by-step video tutorial on the distribution process here: **************************************************************************************

Hopefully this helps with your concerns and we appreciate your business.

Wish I could give zero stars. I have a 401K account with Slavic that was automatically transferred from another company several years ago....fine.I have been trying to get access to the funds in this account for several weeks now and have spent countless hours wasting my time on hold without any idea whether someone is ever going to pick up. Calls go unanswered. Emails go unanswered.I tried to create an online account on December 13th. Was told that I needed to verify my identity and upload a bunch of documents and it would take 5 business days to get me verified and account access. I uploaded everything and.....still waiting 2 weeks later with NO RESPONSE.All I want to do is roll over my funds. I finally got through to someone and asked if they could send me a paper form so I can manually request rollover and was told NO that I have to wait for account access? which is not happening? for some unknown reason?I would never ever keep my money with this company again. Honestly if I don't get access in a few weeks, I am considering finding some type of legal support. This is outrageous.

    Hi ***,

We appreciate your feedback on this matter. I was able to get in touch with our customer service and IT teams who assured me your access was updated on December 27 and you should be able to log in to your account and request your rollover distribution. More instructions on how to do this were supplied with the BBB complaint you filed. Please refer to those instructions and reply to that thread if you run into any difficulties. Thank you, and we apologize for the long hold time on the phone and are taking steps to shorten the wait during this busy time of year.

Wow, if I ever go to an employer that offers Slavic 401k, I will opt to decline this benefit. This is extremely disappointing considering it is meant as an employee perk but the service and lack of follow-through and mishandling of account funds has been the worst experience. No one calls back or actually follows through on the actions. I have had headache after headache with them and would never recommend using Slavic not even to my worst enemy (this is being said for emphasis - I don't have any enemies - or atleast none that I know of). I would give zero stars if I could. I plan to follow-up with BBB as well. Account holders and employers - you have been warned. I do have to say that after 4 months of trying to settle all funds, I finally spoke to one representative (*******) who was sympathertic, responsive, and actually followed-up; the transfer and actions she explained to me were actually taken - thank you *******! The problem with the other representatives (and I spoke/ emailed with several) were that they either provided incorrect information, said things would be done but then failed to do them, or failed to follow-up. Email for the most part was worthless. It tooks days for a response and then often they came back with incorrect informaiton (like referencing Oasis 401k - not sure who they are, or stating that there is nothing wrong and I should call support). If you call their support line, be prepared for long wait times to connect to a representative. I had to hound this company with emails, documentation, and calls. It took me roughly 4 months for them to successfully transfer/rollover my funds. My Fidelity self-directed account (openned through Slavic) is open with a zero balance; I called Fidelity to close it but they told me only Slavic can close it. Slavic informed me they cannot close it until 2023 due to tax reporting and then it will automatically close . I cannot wait until that happens so I can be done with this company!

I requested a withdrawal at the end of October 2022. Was told it could take up to 25 business days to receive a check in the mail. I called them back on Dec. 2nd, 2022 to ask why I hadn't received my check. They didn't offer an explanation. Just stated that I should have received it by Nov. 21st and they would place a stop payment on the check they had supposedly sent. They told me I could expect my check within 10 business days (which included Saturdays according to the rep). I called back on Dec. 6th just to check the status and to see if they could provide an explanation. This rep told me that it must have been lost in the mail and to allow 5 business days for stop payment on the first check AND an additional 10 business days for the check to arrive. She also said that Saturday IS NOT a business day, which contradicted what the first rep stated. So I should receive my check by Dec. 23rd. I admit I'm a bit concerned by other customer reviews that state having similar issues. Needless to say, if I haven't received pmt by Dec. 23, 2022, I will have no other choice but to proceed with legal representation.

I agree with ******. This is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Their customer service is abysmal. If you call you have to wait between 30 minutes and 2 hours to speak with someone. I requested a general loan from my 401k because of a family crisis. They say their process takes ***** business days which is RIDICULOUS. It's currently business day 11 and day 18 since I applied and there has been zero progress on the distribution status. No one can tell me why it's taking so long or how long each step takes. In addition, the compliance piece for a general loan is very minimal (verifying your plan administrator allows loans and it doesn't exceed more than 50% or ****** of the amount in your 401k). That should not take 11 business days unless you just don't care about your customers or you're incompetent. They brag about being "innovative" but their customer service and commitment to customers are the worst I've experienced. I don't trust this company at all and will be finding another place to invest my money as soon as possible.
