I have been trying to gain access to my Slavic 401k account for over 1 month so I can roll the funds over into a different account. I have not been able to create an online account. Slavic does not pick up the phone and the website malfunctions when I try to create a new account online. After completing the new account form, it reads "your session has expired". My money is with Slavic and they are preventing me from accessing it.Business Response

Slavic401k has no information about how to do a rollover FROM Slavic401k DIRECTLY TO another company. They have online forms like Distribution Request or Loan Request, but no rollover. I've emailed the company with no response, I've called three times and been on hold for 1+ hour with no pick up, I tried their callback option but when it was a call back it was just the automated survey. Beyond frustrating a company that has tens of thousands of dollars of my money is holding it hostage with nonresponsiveness and poor customer service. No idea why ********* decided to partner with this company, and I've told ********* the same. I wish I could get customer service the regular way instead of having to file a BBB complaint.Business Response

Hi *******,
We apologize for the wait on the phone and the confusion over this. A rollover is a type of distribution, and we do have a way to do it online. Here is a link to a step-by-step video: **************************************************************************************
When you get to the screen that asks you to select a "Distribution Option," choose the "Qualified Retirement Plan Rollover Distribution" option if you would like to roll your money over into another 401(k) or qualified retirement plan at another provider. There is a second option to rollover into an ********************** if that is your preference. Once you choose the option applicable to your situation, please follow the rest of the prompts to complete your rollover request. Please be aware that most rollovers take ***** business days to trade the funds and process, and an additional 1-3 days to receive the money electronically (depending on the other company's ACH policies) or **** days for money send via check in the mail.
If you have any questions, please respond to this and let us know. Thank you.Initial Complaint

I am trying to roll over a 401K held by this company to another company. My employer no longer contracts with Slavic for 401K services and I now have a different 401K provider. Slavic is refusing to allow the rollover because I still work for the company they used to provide services for. They are telling me they are going to keep my money and continue to charge fees until I turn 59! Please help me!Business Response

Have been trying to opt out of auto-enrollment and request a refund to be distributed. I sent the form to the email provided and never heard anything back. After sending multiple follow-up emails and calling the customer service line numerous times I have not been able to reach a customer service representative to get an update. Very frustrating.Business Response

************* changed 401K providers last year and since January, I have been trying to access my 401K on the ****** website. Unfortunately, this team does not allow you to email them, and when calling their call center, no one will pick up the phone. On January 5th, I waited on the phone line for 1 hour and 41 minutes with no resolution. I reached out to G&A Partners, who works closely with them, but no resolution or even a callback was provided. Today, I am attempting to reach them again today to gain access to my account and after 30 minutes of being in the communications abyss, I need an additional platform to be heard. As a new customer, the customer service I am receiving from ********** is deplorable. If I had a choice, I would not work with this 401K company - they are a disappointment and are obviously not customer centered.Business Response

There is no way to start a rollover from the website, so I tried to call them, and no one answered the phone, they just put u on hold forever. There is basically no way to access your own money, this company it's a scam. Worst customer service ever, and the worst website ever, I don't know why my previous employer or anyone will use this company.Business Response

Hi ******,
Thank you for reaching out and we apologize for the wait on the phone. There is a way to request a rollover online. Here is a link to a video tutorial on how to do it: **************************************************************************************
Once you get to the screen that asks you to select a Distribution Option, choose "Qualified Retirement Plan Rollover Distribution" if you would like to rollover the full amount of your 401(k) to another 401(k) provider, or choose "Existing **** if you would like to roll your money into an IRA ******* you have elsewhere. After that, please follow the prompts on the screen to finish submitting your request. Slavic401k has my money and I can't access it to distribute it to another bank. Slavic401k never picks up the phone or replies to my multiple emails. I have tried logging into my online account and they don't send me the access info. I've been trying to get in touch with them relentlessly for the past two months with zero success.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:I was contacted by Slavic and they helped me login to my online access, and guided me through the distribution form. They shouldn't be waiting for anything else from my part, unless their message came before they helped me. With the experience I've had with them so far I won't believe my issue is resolved until I see my money distributed.
Sincerely,

Hi *****,
You are correct, we do not need anything else from you at this time. Our distribution team is processing your distribution request. Please be aware that distributions typically take ***** business days to process and verify. After the funds are traded and processing is complete, it typically takes an additional 2-7 days for you to receive the money (depending on whether you chose to receive the money electronically or via mail). There is no further action needed from you at this time. If you do not receive your money within the timeframe mentioned above, please let us know.Customer Answer

It is impossible to contact Slavic401k to do a rollover from them to my account at Fidelity. They have no email help line, their phone line takes hours and I sat on hold for hours till I gave up and hung up, and they refuse to speak to Fidelity who is initiating the rollover and has contacted them multiple times. They are holding my funds hostage taking up hours of my time and causing me significant harm and damages.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: they never called. They told me they could not send info over email for security reasons which is a scam response. Their customer service line never answers. And they are telling me my Fidelity account is third party and cannot submit the transfer and I have to do it myself but the website has nowhere it can be submitted. They are fighting tooth and nail to prevent me from moving my 401k to a trusted company. Their business model is make it so hard to move funds out so their customers are unable to switch to a better company due to the hours of effort and fighting.
Sincerely,

I filed a distribution/withdrawal request of my 401k because I moved jobs and I am moving it into an individual account of my choosing. I filed this request over 6 weeks ago and am unable to access the page to view the request because it sends me to a blank page! I tried calling 5 times and every single time I am waiting for over 2 HOURS to get ahold of someone and still nothing. I need to know where my money is.Business Response
