      ADT provides absolutely horrible customer service. The representatives that you speak with on the phone are rude and unprofessional. I tried calling the company 10/21/22 and spent two hours on the phone before I got tired of holding and hung up. Friday my alarm went off and I never got a call from the department that does the monitoring. I tried calling on Saturday and was still asked to hold forever. I called Monday, 10/24/22 and after calling twice and holding for a total of 2 more hours I got a rude person on the phone, and she told me her name was Precious. She sounded extremely ignorant and mean. I tried to explain why I was calling, and she threw me on hold. The next person I spoke to told me her name was ****** and she did take the time to hear why I was calling. I had to ask for the cancellation department to get through to talk with someone finally. ADT has come to my home 4-5 times this year for the same problem, a peeping annoying sound. I am not sure if the problem is fixed, but I am thinking about going to another security company. ****** tried to tell me that ADT is working with ** and their rating is 5 stars and that is not what I see on the ** site. So, adding to everything else, they straight up lie to their customers. If you can help it don't make the same mistake I made and do business with ADT. Your safety is in the wrong hands!!!! So dissatisfied.

      I have been on the phone 91 minutes waiting to speak to someone who has authority to set me up an appointment with a technician to fix a window sensor. Only about *********** minutes were spent speaking to a representative. So far, the first 4 representatives do not have that ability, so they keep transferring me to someone who can help me. So frustrating spending over an hour and a half just to make an appointment

      If I could give 5 negative stars, I would without hesitation. Had ADT service for 2 days with issues. Once installed, forget about getting help if you should have said issues. You will never be able to reach customer service, or a service tech. We canceled within our rescission timeframe but yet they have withdrawn over $800 out of our account ... ONE MONTH after we canceled. Took a few weeks for them to even come get their product. I have filed a complaint and will let BBB handle from here. If I am not provided a service, why should you take my hard earned money for said service. Shady business practices and completely unethical!

      I have been a customer for 12 years. I called to have my service canceled....I waited 45 min to just to be transferred to a line where after an additional 45 minutes I got cut off. I called 3 days later.....same issue. I called a third time and finally after a total 1 1/2 hours got to the department to cancel my service and after 3 tries by the rep to lower my monthly, 3 months free ,etc.... I finally screamed "cancel" As she was reading off her disclaimer for cancellation I was cut off again. Let me ask you if i wanted to buy service would I have to wait so long....I doubt it! This company is in trouble and the "remaining" customers are left to rot lQQk at the Overall customer review Ratings it's 1.05 out of 5.00...***!!!!!!

      Worst customer service experience ever. Very poor service.. 3 different techs unable to solve our issues. Every time you call to a tech there are so worried about the service fee and how we are going to pay. Mind you it is defective product that is causing problems. Calling on the same issues for the past month and nothing has been resolved.

      Horrible customer service. Heads up...... they will try to wear u down or have u hang up in frustration. Upon learning i wanted to cancel, they tried to sale me a cheaper package, put me on hold, transferred me to someone else and hang up on u. I eventually hung up after being placed on hold again. I had to cancel my credit card in order to stop the automatic bill pay to ADT. Their customer service is pathetic, esp. *******. Never again.

      My wife and I spent 3+ years with ADT and due to recent inflation, we did not want the services anymore. When I called to cancel, ADT said I entered a verbal contract with them in January 2022. However, I had no record of this call on my phone nor memory of making such an extension to the contract. After three phone calls, I was told that I needed a subpoena to get the recording of the call. This is absurd. I had to pay a fee for this despite no evidence but if I did not pay the fee, I would keep having to pay $53/month. I have lost all faith in adt and it is clear that they do not have their customers best interests in mind. Terrible service when I was with them so long. I would never recommend them

      I started with a simple phone call to ADT to speak with a tech about the battery in my control panel. I only lasted about one year. The person who answered the call had a heavy accent and spoke broken english. I requested someone in america. I was supposedly transferred to an american person, but instead was put on hold for more than 3 hours. I never did receive a satisfactory reply to my quest. Even an hour chat with their chat screen di not help. Four more calls with different numbers got me the same results. First a person with heavy accent speaking broken english and then transferred to hold for what seemed to be for ever. I feel if this is the way they treat their customers (I have been with ADT for more than 30 years) how can I rely on them to monitor my service safely.

      I am 67 years old we had a Ring system on our rental and when we moved the individuals that bought the house decided they didn’t want the ring system on there so I brought the ring system to the new house my daughter had built at the time I couldn’t get a hold of the people who were over the ring system for security ATT called and said that oh you can’t attach the ring system to your new house you have to get a whole new system so I talk to the agent and in the contract is states I start the contract in July I had until September to cancel the contract I called in August to tell them I know longer one of the system because the system was not working properly I always had to call to have them put it back online or the police will show up at the door it was always something wrong wrong with the ADT blue system I asked him to take three ******* back and to cancel my contract with him because I was still within the cancellation date time they told me no you will pay out the rest of your contract and I told them I will not so now they’re calling me every day not saying anything and not leaving any messages just calling and listening to me breathe I think this is a very petty company and I’m so sick of them they will not get a dime from me they breached the contract

      I've been a customer for the ADT service for alarm for many years and no issues. But they installed a garage system with the app and google services and if you have to call for help. The technical support is over an hour wait and on hold for quite a long time. They can't help you. You are in a vicious cycle of on hold, incompetent tech support, and then they need to send one to your house and you have to pay for it. I've had two different technicians and 4 tech support calls and no resolution. Do not use ADT. They are not reliable and very poor customer service. You will be on hold for ever and waiting hours for a technician. If I could get a -0 rating ...I would.
