    Tickets-Center.com is the first website that pops up when searching for tickets. It is not obvious from that it is a third-party vendor...it is in small print in the corner. The ticket prices are 3x what they are on the box office sites. When I received an email about the tickets following the purchase, it said the tickets have not even been purchased yet and that they will be sent to me before the show (which is in a month). I immediately called requesting a refund and they said they could not because the middle-man had already been paid, which cannot be correct because the email said they had not yet even purchased the tickets. This business is a total scam.

It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value”

    Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for Jake Cornell, they were able to see the tickets available. Once selected, they are taken to a page with an in-depth description of their ticket information, event details, ticket quantity, delivery method and any other notes related to the tickets. After confirming their selection, they were directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $618.95 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Then, our customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars. Some venues may require proof of vaccination or negative COVID test. You are responsible for checking venue health and safety requirements for entry." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown is reiterated. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $618.95 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.

    Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.

    Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer to address all of their concerns. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed.     I paid 195.95 for nothing. Pretty sure there are no tickets- it’s all a total scam. I’d like my money back.

The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Fast, easy and secure secondary marketplace tickets. Prices may be above or below face value." 

    Due to the nature of the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center does own or generate any tickets and therefore does not set or control the ticket delivery date. Rather, the estimated delivery date is set by the individual seller of the tickets and is dependent upon the primary issuer of the tickets, with which Tickets-Center has no affiliation. While Tickets-Center does not control the available delivery date we do ensure that valid tickets will arrive on time for the selected event. In this case, tickets for our customer's event were delivered on 7/23/2024, the day after their order was placed. As it stands our customer's order was appropriately fulfilled in accordance with both our buyer guarantee and all agreed upon terms. If our customer has any additional concerns relating to their order, we welcome them to contact our customer service department.

    I purchase tickets for Fiddler on the Roof at the St. Louis Muny. I was directed to another website called Tickets Center to purchase the tickets. I purchased two tickets through the website by using the link for my PayPal account. We went on the date of the performance and found out through an employee at the box office that it was a scam. She stated that tickets can only be purchased through another company that was not Tickets Center. We had gone to her when we were unable to use any confirmation to gain entrance to our seats. The "tickets" were downloaded to my google wallet, but did not have a barcode to scan when I tried to pull them up again at the venue.

    I purchased tickets for a show that I thought were from the venue where the show is being held. In fact, it was very unclear, but the tickets are from a secondary market and the website did not make that clear. I paid more than the value of the tickets for the show. The show is less than a week away and I still have not received the tickets. I do not have my seats either. I need to exchange the tickets because I can no longer go the dates that I selected last September. I know the exchange policy of the venue so I was not concerned when I purchased the tickets as exchanges are easy.

    This secondary vendor, however, will not exchange or refund the tickets and also will not give me my tickets or even tell me my seat numbers even though the event is a week away.

    I would like my money back for my tickets because I cannot sell the tickets in good faith to someone since I don't actually have seats and I cannot exchange or refund through this vendor.

    The show is "six" which is playing at the Ordway in Saint Paul, MN.

    I have now purchased tickets directly through the Ordway (that is how I found out my original tickets were from a secondary vendor).

    I purchased a ticket through this company for my daughter to attend a Keith Urban concert in Salinas, Ca on 7/12/24.

    When I looked at the QR code on the "ticket," it brought me to a "play boy magazine" website. I immediately called the Ticket agency, and they assured me that the ticket was legitimate. When my daughter got to the venue it was not legitimate, and she had to buy a ticket from a friend to get into the concert.

    I contacted the venue today, and they told me that they only sell tickets off their site, and that the ticket was fraud. I am requesting my money back, but have been bounced around to different people, hung up on, and disconnected from Chat. I just want my money back.

    On 7/12/2024 we spoke with Mrs. ******* and addressed their concern regarding their QR code. We discouraged their attempts to read into the QR code’s identifying number as the unique identifier is specific to the venue. Searching such a broad term via the web would likely suggest unpredictable and unrelated results. We advised our customer the tickets are valid and sourced out directly from the primary platform. As such, we maintain our customer’s order was successfully fulfilled and aligns with our Buyer’s Guarantee.

    ******* went online and got us tickets for Friday night, for a CSO event at Ravinia. He did not know he could go to the website and buy them directly. Thought that this website was not a scam. He showed me the tickets this morning and he paid $158.85 for 2 general admission lawn seats that should have cost $17 each. I reached out to customer service this morning and they were pretty much like too bad. I asked if there was a way to get a refund and they were like contact your bank and then we will will despite that charge. I do not want anybody else to be taken advantage of.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my  issue.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
    **In order for the bureau to continue to assist you, you MUST provide your view on the matter or your complaint will be closed as answered. ******* purchased these tickets for me, however, when we later went to the ******* website to see what time the gates opened, we realized that tickets purchased through them directly are only $17 a piece.  I reached out right away to discuss this.  We asked for help prior to the event. While they note that they did in their response, they just said too bad.  We were not able to return them, or negotiate a solution. I feel that as a business they should not be taking advantage of people.  If it is their stance that they sell tickets for other parties, they should not allow tickets to be sold at that mark up.  Best practice would be to protect both parties.

    As stated in our initial response, all prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller of the tickets, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors. Tickets-Center does not purchase or own any tickets from the venue box office or any primary market website. When placing their order the customer confirmed their acknowledgment of this fact, as well as their acceptance of our terms of sale, when they selected a check box which stated, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars." We will continue to maintain that all relevant information pertaining to the customer's claim was clearly displayed and available for their review during the entirety of their purchase process. As it stands we now consider this matter closed.

    On 5/23/24 I ordered and paid for 2 tickets to Riverdance at American Music Theater, Lancaster, Pa. at 2:00 PM on 3/2/25 At a cost of $317.50. After not receiving any correspondence or tickets in the last 2 months …I tried contacting them and they keep saying they emailed them and supposedly have emailed them again. Funny thing is all their emails come through to me except the tickets! They keep saying we can get no refunds even though the confirmation email says nothing about no refunds and was the first and only email received prior to my continued effort to get my tickets. I truly feel I have been scammed by this company and they are committing fraud against innocent people. My order # is 64523364. Please help me at this point to just get a refund as we have a feeling we will never receive legitimate tickets at this point. Sincerely,

    This website is 100% unethical. It is deceptive in that it appears your are selecting actual seats when in reality I was sent general admission tickets NOT the seats I picked!! . The value on the ticket is general admission $5 and I was charged $90 for two tickets. This is extremely deceptive and offering no refunds is pushing that beyond deceptive to unethical.

    This site is a scam. My daughter thought she was buying tickets directly from the venue. When I received the email confirmation, no links worked for tickets or company contact.

    Thank you for reaching out to us. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customer’s concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value”

    Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for West Michigan Whitecaps at Great Lakes Loons, they were able to see the tickets available. Once selected, they are taken to a page with an in-depth description of their ticket information, event details, ticket quantity, delivery method and any other notes related to the tickets. After confirming their selection, they were directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $159.50 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Then, our customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars. Some venues may require proof of vaccination or negative COVID test. You are responsible for checking venue health and safety requirements for entry." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown is reiterated. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $159.50 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.

    Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.

    We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.

    I was trying to buy tickets to a concert, went to Ticketmaster website ... Got redirected to Ticket-Center.com. Believing I was on Ticketmaster website and being rushed to make a purchase. I made a selection for 3 tickets. Turned out that I was charged over $500.00 per ticket! I tried to cancel the purchase and was unable to do so. I'm still unsure how Ticket-Center.com is able to pull you away from the Ticketmaster website and fraudulently take your money from you.

    In addition to this current claim, our customer has filed a dispute with their credit card account regarding this order. We are unable to provide a resolution to this matter while this dispute remains open due to the nature of the dispute process. We encourage our customer to contact the institution with which the dispute was filed in relation to any questions they may have regarding its process or outcome. As it currently stands, we consider this matter closed.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my  issue.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
    **In order for the bureau to continue to assist you, you MUST provide your view on the matter or your complaint will be closed as answered.

    I don't accept this response . First of all this is a bait and switch as to where the customer believes they are on a GENUINE Ticketmaster website. These tickets were posted for sale before the official tickets went on sale, I'm not understanding how that was even possible if this not for fraudulent purposes . These tickets were as purchased by someone that had taken my credit card and DIDN'T have permission to use it that is why it was turned over to the credit card company . I have since found out who used the card and did the right thing by paying the charge, so the fraud case was closed by the credit card company.
    In looking at your website, it seems like I am not the first customer that is extremely dissatisfied in the way you conduct you business practice of having a customer believe they are on Ticketmaster . Plus the fact that the EXTREMELY OVERLY PRICED tickets are no where to be found and I doubt I will ever see them based on the other complaints against this company. I believe this company shouldn't be in operation for their deceitful ways!!

As stated in our previous response, Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets. Ticket holders use our platform to create listings backed by our buyer's guarantee that tickets will be valid, authentic, and delivered in time for the event. The top of every page during the ticket selection and checkout processes displays a message which discloses our status as a ticket resale marketplace. As such, we maintain that all details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order and continue to consider this matter closed. The aforementioned dispute our customer filed through their financial institution has been addressed, and ultimately was ruled in our company's favor. If Ms. ***** has additional questions regarding the dispute or its outcome, we advise she contact her financial institution directly.
