This is a 3rd party seller that highly inflates prices and adds on many fees, when the actual price from another--legit--agency was 1/3. The link to the ticket does not work, and I have not been able to contact anyone at this company. I have filed a complaint with the Hawaii Department of Consumers Affairs, and will be speaking with my bank. This company has deceptive practices, and price-gouges. They clearly state no refunds, so I'm really hoping I can get this handled. What was going to be a nice and fun event in Honolulu has now turned into a complete headache. It is unbelievable that this activity is allowed when so many grievances are posted against this fraudulent company.Business Response

Thank you for reaching out to us. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customer’s concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value”
Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for Chelsea Handler, they were able to see the tickets available. Once selected, they are taken to a page with an in-depth description of their ticket information, event details, ticket quantity, delivery method and any other notes related to the tickets. After confirming their selection, they were directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $389.50 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Then, our customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars. Some venues may require proof of vaccination or negative COVID test. You are responsible for checking venue health and safety requirements for entry." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown is reiterated. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $389.50 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.
Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.
We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.

On 6/17/24 I was online searching for US open 2025 tickets. I was on USGA when I was somehow redirected to this site. I looked for the tickets, thinking I was on USGA, and bought them. Afterwards is when I noticed I DID NOT buy them from the site I was on. So, the next day I did a little research about this company and did not read good things. They are promising my tickets, allegedly, a day or two before the event. I did contact the company on line and they have not helped. I asked that the tickets at least be emailed to me to verify, and they will not do that. My belief is that they sell these tickets first, and then try to get people to sell them to them. I believe they committed fraud by not having any tickets to sell at all. I cannot make any plans, wondering if I will have the tickets to attend. My calls just go unanswered. I would like for them to make this right ASAP and refund my money.

The company, Tickets-center.com, has answered with a bunch of things supposedly on their website, or as they stated they told me about. But, I would like to actually SEE or have in my possession the tickets I purchased with my over $3,000. From what I know, they do not have any tickets to provide me right now. They want me to wait 2 or 3 days before this event, which is out of state. I am an elderly woman that lives on a fixed income. This was going to be my husbands anniversary gift. I still believe this is fraud because they are selling tickets they do not have. I may drop this if they either return my money, buy them back from me, or give me tickets that are compromised or fraudulent. I had worked 40 years in the court system, and from reading a lot of other complaints and comments on this business, it screams scam and fraud.

Thank you for responding. Please note that as a resale marketplace Tickets-Center does not generate tickets or hold any inventory. This is clearly disclosed on our site prior to purchase. All our customers are guaranteed to receive their tickets in time for their event. I purchased two tickets yesterday to a Tim Minchin event thinking I was purchasing from the theatre's website. This site came up when searching for Queen Elizabeth Theatre formatted in a way to trick you into believing it is the theatre's website, but is actually extremely deceptive on only appearing as a direct seller. When I received an email saying I would not get the tickets until the day before the event I realized my mistake. However, the website I purchased from did not say it was a re-seller, it does not say that you will not receive the tickets until hours before the event, and the link to contact them in their email does not work. When I called today they never answered the line. I would like a refund for this purchase given how deceptive this was and that they have made it impossible for me to reach them.Business Response

MY REPLY: I appreciate the BBB and Tickets Center for replying to my complaint, However, I disagree that "all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order." In addition to not seeing the information they claim to have shown on the webpages they in no where indicated that tickets would not be provided until the day before. I only learned this after placing the order and being billed as my attachment clearly shows. Thank you,Better Business Bureau:

I ordered tickets from Tickets-Center.com in November 2023 for John Cusack at the Cabot Theater in Beverly, MA, for a January 25, 2024, movie and presentation. Order number#59085945. I paid a total of $467.50 for this event. I received word on January 23rd that this show was postponed. I reached out on three separate occasions requesting a refund (Jan 23, April 10 and May 25th). I even, at one point, engaged with an employee in a chat requesting a refund. I was informed that they didn't have tickets, so they couldn't provide a refund. It did not make any sense. I am extremely frustrated with this situation. There has been a lack of communication on their end, and they have not provided any update or means of obtaining a refund. I am hoping you can help. Thank you in advance for your assistance.Business Response

Customers will be appropriately compensated for any event which is cancelled and is not planned to be rescheduled. If, rather than cancelling, an event organizer postpones an event, we must adhere to the terms of use agreed to at the time of sale, which state “All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges or cancellations. If the event is postponed, tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date.” By placing their order, our customer agreed to these terms, which were available for review on the checkout screen.

The tickets provided to our customer were located in the side terrace section of the venue, which organizes seating based on odd/even numbers. This is a standard practice for many theatre events. The seats provided to Ms. ***** were consecutive even numbers, meaning that the seats were located adjacent to one another. Had Ms. ***** contacted us prior to the event date, our customer care team would have happily informed her of that information; however the only contact we received from Ms. ***** was regarding the date of the event.

On June 3, 2024, I bought a parking ticket for $40.00 at the Cathedral Garage from TicketsCenter.com to the Leanne Morgan event at the Safe Credit Union Performing Arts Center on June 9th @ 7pm.
I received the confirmation email (attached) to my [email protected] email address with the order # 64821632 for my order. On June 7th, I called their customer service because I had not received my ticket. The recording said they would send me my ticket the day of the event.
On June 9th at 2pm I contacted customer service again, this time asking for a representative. I spoke to the representative and she found my order by using my email address that i ordered the ticket from ([email protected]) told me I had to download the ParkWhiz app on my phone to receive the ticket. While she was on the phone, I downloaded the app, and the ticket was not their. After 45 minutes and placing me on hold multiple times the representative came back on the phone and told me they would resend the ticket and it will appear in the app in the next 30 minutes.
I waited an hour and a half checking every few minutes and still no ticket. I called customer service back again. This time they told me the person that was supposed to resend it to me isn't answering the phone.
Since there wasn't anything I could do, I ended up parking someplace else and had to pay a 2nd time for parking.
On Monday, June 10th I called TicketsCenter.com back and asked for a refund since I never received the ticket. They told me they wouldn't refund my money because the event wasn't cancelled. Which makes no sense to me. The email was very clear that they would not honor a paper copy of my order, so without them sending the electronic ticket, I could not use it.Business Response

I thought I was purchasing concert tickets from TicketMaster. It was actually a secondary company. They sent the link for me to accept my tickets. When I tried it gave me an error saying they had already been accepted. I called the business. The first representative hung up on me. I called back. The representative verified I had ordered the tickets and confirmed the last 4 digits of my debit card. After being on hold for several minutes I was told in about 5 days they could verify who accepted the tickets. I asked for a refund since they could not help me. They refused. My husband went to TicketMaster and purchased new tickets for us. I want a refund from the secondary company.Business Response

Our customer reached out to us on June 16th, 2024 regarding the ticket transfer, experiencing difficulty accepting the transfer. After troubleshooting, our customer care team advised that we would attempt a retransfer request. This is a manual process, and can take time to accomplish; however the customer was advised that it was being attempted, and to monitor her email for updates. It should be noted that retransfer requests are not guaranteed after the initial transfer is sent. The retransfer request has been completed as of June 26th, 2024.
We maintain that this order was delivered successfully. As such, we are unable to provide compensation regarding our customer's concerns. Ticket scalping, also known as ticket reselling, https://tickets-center.com/# looks to mirror the https://www.crossinsurancecenter.com/ web site and marks up the tickets 3X. After the Chase debit card was declined for fraud my wife use our Capital One credit card which questioned the charge however my wife overrode the fraud warning. the Sale was on Sat, Jun 8 at 9:55 PM for the amount of $927.50. I called the company immediately after checking the sail price on the Cross Insurance Center web site which differed vastly from Tickets-Center.com/# of $384.80. I spoke to Fab on Mon, Jun 10 at 11:15 EST at 1-8002955354 in reference to order number
64989667. Fab indicated all sales were final and would not cancel the order. Fab appears to work for a call center handling multiple businesses. I did speak to my credit card company and they are also helping. The event in not until late Sep 2024 and there should be no reason the company cannot cancel the charge and reservations.Initial Complaint

On March 4th, 2024 I saw Celeste Barber was coming into town. I purchased 6 tickets for my 41st Birthday Party from what I thought was Ticketmaster. However, it was a third party company hosting resale tickets. Tickets to the show were and are still not sold out. Tickets sold to me were at $139. After taxes and fees I paid $1,075.50. Today, same seats are sold on Ticketmaster for $49 each. I feel like this is absolute fraud. I spoke to a manager today to ask about this pricing discrepancy and was told that as a third party they are not responsible and cannot refund the variance. To me, it seems like any employee who works here can pre-buy tickets, overcharge customers, knowing that this fraudulent company will pop up first when buying tickets. I’m contending this with my credit card company.Business Response

Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for Celeste Barber, they were able to see the tickets available. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $1,075.50 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $1,075.50 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.
Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer to address all of their concerns. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my issue. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. This “company” was marketed and linked to Ticket Master. Deception at its finest. I thought I was purchasing at face value when the search engine directed me to the availability page. Price gouging, deception, zero customer service, not to mention this is a digital method of scalping tickets which is illegal in the city of Denver, where the event occurred. Because of this, the “company” took advantage of the buyer wholeheartedly.

I searched for The Santa Fe Opera website directly and landed up on this page for Tickets-Center.com. I had no idea this was an independent vendor. When looking for tickets I chose my section and that I wanted seats together. I did receive an email after the transaction was complete, but no seat numbers were provided. We NEED the seat numbers in order to provide to other members of our party who would also like to purchase their tickets and be seated together! Once I called the actual venue box office directly, they advised of this site being a FOR PROFIT website that will not provide refunds or seat numbers and that they make it impossible for consumers to simply get their seat information. Any other 3rd party site allows you to select your exact seats and will provide you with confirmation of such after purchase. This is very misleading, unethical and bad business! I’ve tried to cancel this transaction, speaking to a rep named Wilton in their customer support department, but they only say “sales are final, they cannot refund….” and continue stating the same things over and over. I understand all they are telling me, and am even willing to bite the billet with the 50% above sale price I unfortunately had to pay, but they should allow for refunds in these situations! They will not even allow me to return the 2 tickets and repurchase 3 seats together so that our friend can enjoy the show with us. They say I need to resell the tickets using another 3rd party website if I want my money back, and I cannot use their site to do this, as they only accept tickets from certain companies with large volume of tickets. They further refused to forward me to a higher level of management saying they are unable to forward calls and that they were already a ‘manager’ in the escalation department. I would like to be refunded, and since they provided no option to do so with their customer service team, I am left no choice but to file this complaint to seek reimbursement please.Business Response

The way you do business is not ‘fair’ as you state. Although I understand you would like to serve both the customer and your reseller, you should provide the option for buyers to obtain a refund if they decide they do not wish to attend or any other valid reason. You are providing a bad service, deceptive and shady and profiting from the resale of the tickets after preying on people who do not know better when searching online for tickets. Now we know better, and will never come back to this site. I also hope that this review and complaint reaches many many people so that they too will not purchase tickets from your shady site.
