The company portrayed itself to be affiliated with Ticket Master, completed the sale which was charged to my account and has never provided tickets. Their support line is automated and it says it can not locate my order number when provided. There are no additional methods of contacting them.

Thank you for reaching out to us. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customer’s concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Our customer has stated that they believed they were purchasing through the website for the venue or of the event itself. However, it should be noted that our web address and website branding are intentionally different from those of any other site. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value.”

Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for Pantera, they were able to see the tickets available and the Delivery Method. After confirming their selection, they were directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $196.50 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Then, our customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown is reiterated. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $196.50 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.

It should also be noted, tickets for our customer's event were transferred electronically through a third-party platform to the email address they provided during checkout on 7/31/25 at 5:46 PM CST. The email customer received contains instructions and a link to claim their tickets. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.

    Regards,

In March, I purchased two tickets through Tickets-Center.com for the Alabama Shakes concert for July 16, 2025, at the Salt Shed in the Chicago area. I believed I had accepted the tickets but learned a few days before the event that the tickets were showing in Ticketmaster (where they were transferred to me) as invalid. I was continuing to work on accepting them and talked to customer service about it. On July 14, 2025, two days before the concert, I received a message that the seller had taken back the tickets. I immediately talked to customer service and was told that the agent (name sounded like "Chow?") had to escalate the issue and that I would get a resolution by email before the concert. I never heard back. The concert came and went, and I had no tickets, despite having paid $500+ for them. I sent an email the morning of the concert again seeking resolution before the concert and have now raised this multiple times with the by email. I can get no response.

In November 2024, I purchased two tickets through Ticket Center (a third-party seller) for Hamilton at the Ohio Theater in Columbus, scheduled for July 12, 2025. The seats were Balcony D, Row R. I paid a total of $537.40. On November 17, 2024, I received an email prompting me to accept and transfer the tickets through Broadway in Columbus.
However, in early June 2025, I was notified that the tickets had been invalidated. Upon contacting the Ohio Theater, I was informed that Ticket Center had violated policy by bulk-purchasing tickets, which is not permitted. As a result, the theater canceled those tickets.
While the Ohio Theater was helpful in getting us alternate seats after I repurchased them, I did not receive a refund for the original purchase, and I never received any valid tickets from Ticket Center. Despite contacting them multiple times, Ticket Center has refused to issue a refund, stating that they cannot, even though they received full payment and failed to deliver a valid product.
I also contacted my bank, but because the purchase occurred more than six months ago, they say they cannot reverse the charge—even though the tickets were only invalidated two weeks ago.
I am requesting a full refund of $537.40 from Ticket Center for the invalidated tickets that were never honored or delivered in usable form.

Thank you for reaching out to us. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customer’s concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers, and include disclosures that tickets may be above face value throughout our website. Tickets-Center facilitates thousands of successful ticket transfers each day with satisfied customers, so we are confident of the efficacy of our processes. In this case our customer's tickets were delivered on 11/17/24. A ticket transfer email was sent to the email address entered by the customer at the time of purchase and contained a link the customer should follow to accept their tickets. A clear and detailed explanation of this process was also provided in the email sent to the customer. After the customer made us aware of the issue they were experiencing with their accepted tickets we requested they provide an alternate email address in order to request a retransfer form the seller. The seller was able to complete this retransfer request to the alternate email address provided by the customer on 6/25/25. It should be noted the seller has provided documentation indicating the transfer to the alternate email address was successful. If our customer requires additional assistance in accepting their tickets we would suggest they contact our customer service team.

On March 28, 2025, I purchased five (5) tickets from Tickets-Center.com for a June 14 AquaSox minor league game, paying $322.50. The site stated seat numbers would be provided after purchase, but I also needed ADA-accessible seating, and there was no way to confirm that.

Two days later, I still hadn’t received seat numbers. The confirmation only listed Section H, Row 4 — no seat details or ADA confirmation. I called customer service and was told they didn’t know the seat numbers or if the seats were accessible.

I requested a refund, explaining one member of our group has a disability. I was told they do not issue refunds under any circumstances. I then filed a dispute with Bank of America. Despite providing documentation, the claim was denied.

As of June 13 — one day before the event — I still had no tickets. When I called, I was told they had resold my tickets due to the dispute and that I would receive only $105. I was never informed they would be resold, nor did I authorize it.

I asked to speak with a supervisor. The first rep (Chelsia) refused and hung up on me. On a second call, I was transferred to escalation and told again that tickets were resold — in April — even though the dispute wasn’t closed until June 13. How were my tickets resold before the dispute ended?

Now, I have no tickets for an event my daughter is singing the National Anthem at. I was never notified of the resale or the refund amount. I paid for a service that was never delivered and received only a partial refund. This situation was handled poorly, and the company’s practices feel deceptive and unethical.

It should be noted that on 3/28/2025 when our customer placed an order for the Tri-City Dust Devils at Everett AquaSox game they selected a listing labeled as "Section: Diamond Club H, Row: 4" with no designations for ADA seating. When the customer contacted our customer service team they were properly informed that their order would be fulfilled with the seating they had selected. In accordance with the "all sales are final" policy, with which they agreed to at the time of purchase, no alterations could be made to their order.

As our customer has noted, after we discussing their concerns with our customer service team they chose to file a dispute with their financial institution regarding their transaction. We addressed this, and the dispute was ultimately ruled in our favor. The financial dispute our customer opened was facilitated and determined by the customer's financial institution, not Tickets-Center. Our terms of sale indicate that "in the event that you dispute a charge and it is determined that the charge was valid and not the result of credit card or other payment fraud, we have the right to seek payment, including all associated fees, by whatever means necessary, including using collection agencies and legal proceedings. We may also mitigate our damages by relisting and selling, as the case may be, the tickets that are the subject of the underlying payment dispute." As such upon initiation of the dispute by our customer their tickets were forfeit and were later resold on their behalf. The customer has at this time been compensated accordingly. If our customer has any further questions regarding this dispute, we encourage them to reach out to the financial institution with which it was filed. As it stands we consider this matter closed.

**In order for the bureau to continue to assist you, you MUST provide your view on the matter or your complaint will be closed as answered.

Ticket-Center did not inform me that they were confiscating my tickets and were going to resale them even though my payment had already gone through. The refund was not for the amount I paid for them t was only a partial return (less than 50%). Even though they say it is in their fine print it is not made clear. These types of practices are deceptive. I would have used the tickets but did not get the opportunity nor was I notified when they were sold. Leaving me scrambling to try and find tickets which ultimately led to us not being able to go to the game where my daughter was going to sing with here choir group the National Anthem. The organization should be more upfront with the practices and policies so that people can actually make an informed decision. Thank you for taking another look at this on my behalf.

Thank you for responding. We appreciate the opportunity to further address the customer's concerns and clarify our policies. On 3/30/2025 we were in contact with our customer regarding their request to cancel this order. At that time we advised our customer that the terms of sale they agreed to when placing their order did not allow for cancellations. After this contact they filed a financial dispute against their order. As previously stated, the customer's tickets may have been made unavailable to them while their dispute was active, and the tickets could be resold in alignment with the agreed upon terms of sale. Please refer to our previous response with regard to the details of these terms.

Upon closure of our customer's dispute their tickets had already been resold and as such could no longer be released to them. As previously stated, the financial dispute opened by our customer was facilitated and determined by the customer's financial institution rather than Tickets-Center. We maintain that this transaction was handled in accordance with all agreed upon terms and conditions and as such no further resolution or compensation may be provided. As it stands we consider this matter closed.

Pressured into purchasing 6 tickets on May 29, 2025 (thought I was on the venue box office site - I was on my mobile phone and it was not obvious), as I looked at the ticket dates, i began to receive warnings that "tickets were selling fast," "only a few tickets left," hurry supplies limited" with a clock ticking back how much time is left to purchase the selected tickets - felt rushed, pressured and panicked - clicked to purchase then realized it was the wrong date and I tried to cancel the order within an hour. I was told by the business all sales are final and I would receive the tickets the day before the event. They told me I could sell them, but not through their site. Then I realized that they had scalped me tickets for an empty stadium for over 400% of face value per ticket. (I paid $462.95). I do not have tickets to sell, I do not have seat numbers, just section and row. I have uploaded a document describing the experience in detail. Tickets-center is unethical and predatory. They say I agreed to their terms and conditions, but they didn't give me time to read them by scaring me with a ticking clock and flashing "tickets selling fast" - they do this on purpose to cause panic for buyers to click "purchase" before thinking about what's happening. I am sickened and furious that this business is allowed to practice. I would like this order canceled and my money refunded

The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Fast, easy and secure secondary marketplace tickets. Prices may be above or below face value."

A message stating, “Site displays resale marketplace tickets. Prices may be above or below face value. Not affiliated with any box office or venue.” is displayed on the top of every page throughout the checkout process. Furthermore, when placing their order our customer was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to our terms stating,  "I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the order summary below. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars. Some venues may require proof of vaccination or negative COVID test. You are responsible for checking venue health and safety requirements for entry." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown was provided. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking "Place Order", your credit card will be charged $462.95 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees." at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.

Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. This means that all tickets listed on our site are owned and priced by individual sellers based on those sellers' assessments of changing factors such as customer demand. As noted above, this means that the price paid may not reflect the original price of the tickets. Furthermore, since Tickets-Center is a live marketplace ticket availability and listing prices are subject to change based on market demand. Customers are therefore asked to complete their purchases within a designated timeframe to ensure our available listings are as accurate as possible, in real-time. Since Tickets-Center operates independently from the primary market any information customers may see regarding ticket availability will not reflect that of other marketplaces.

Because our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy. It should lastly be noted that in addition to this current claim our customer filed a dispute with their credit card company regarding this order. We have addressed this, and the dispute was ultimately ruled in our favor. If our customer has any further questions regarding this dispute, we encourage them to reach out to the financial institution with which it was filed. At this time, we consider this matter closed.

They are liars. They are scalpers plain and simple.  They should not be allowed to do business.  There was absolutely no demand for the event when I mistakenly purchased tickets - there had been ZERO tickets sold for the date and time.  I found out later that The face value of the tickets at the venue was $16 - Tickets-Center charged me $59 per ticket PLUS an additional $17 per ticket in service fees (that service fee is HIGHER than the face value of the ticket).  The pressure tactics while trying to purchase tickets was obscene - "supplies limited" "tickets selling fast" "your cart will expire in x seconds" - does not give any purchaser a chance to think or read. Just BUY.They told me to "just resell them" - I will never be able to resell them for the price they charged AND the tickets state "unauthorized duplicates or sale of this ticket may prevent admittance to the event" - well how am I supposed to resell a ticket without authorization when it was purchased from a scalper.  How do I even know this isn't a counterfeit ticket?  I have no guarantees.I know they will not refund me my money.  This is their plan to scalp me and steal my money.  But I want everyone to know that they are unethical scalpers and should be put out of business.

Thank you for responding. We appreciate the opportunity to further address our customer's concern and clarify our policy. As previously stated, all prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller of the tickets, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors. Since Tickets-Center is a live marketplace ticket availability and listing prices are subject to change based on market demand. Customers are therefore asked to complete their purchases within a designated timeframe to ensure our available listings are as accurate as possible, in real-time. Since Tickets-Center operates independently from the primary market any information customers may see regarding ticket availability will not reflect that of other marketplaces.

Two claims related to unfair and deceptive reseller practices:
    1) Tickets-Center sold parking that was not authorized by the actual parking app, was unavailable in the alleged parking app and the parking app (ParkWhiz) said the resale was unauthorized by it. Tickets-Center sold parking for "Gillette Stadium Parking" that was 45 minute walk away, multiple miles away and across multiple highways. It was labeled as VIP Parking, but the event actually had on site parking for free that was 10/15 minute walk. The $121.50 spot that Tickets-Center sold was not VIP, was not within 15 minute walk (would have been 45 minutes at a minimum), and was across multiple highways. In fact, the event did not even charge for parking. So I want a refund for parking. In addition, the "Contact Us" link on the confirmation is a sham and does not work.
    2) Ticket-sCenter advertising was deceptive in that it was linked to the event and I certainly believed I was buying tickets from TicketMaster. The advertising was so deceptive. Then the tickets were labeled as: "going quickly" "almost gone" and "in high demand". They were well over the event ticket price, there were plenty of tickets available, tickets were not going quickly or in demand or almost gone. In fact, in the very section we were in, there we hundreds of tickets available. Tickets-Center would not provide the contact information for the company or the legal department, the contact button on the confirmation was a sham and didn't work (it still doesn't work, it is a non-working button and all other links work) and this reseller should lose its license in Massachusetts. I am seeking a $397.50 adjustment to the bill to account for the lies and overage over the ticket price.

Thank you for reaching out to us. At Tickets-Center.com, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customer’s concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center.com is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers, and include disclosures that tickets may be above face value throughout our website.

It should be noted that our customer Tracey Gilliam placed two orders through our website - an order for the NCAA Mens Lacrosse Championships, and a separate order for event parking. After receiving our customer's claim that the inventory provided for their parking pass fell outside of acceptable standards, our investigations team reviewed the order and determined the claim as legitimate. The customer's order for parking was refunded to their original form of payment as of May 27th, 2025 and their order for event tickets still stands.

Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for NCAA Mens Lacrosse Championships, they were prompted to select the quantity of tickets they want. After they chose the number of tickets, they were able to see the tickets available. Once selected, the customer was provided with an in-depth description of their ticket information, event details, ticket quantity and any other notes related to the tickets. After confirming their selection and clicking "Get these tickets", the customer was directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $897.50 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Furthermore, they are asked to add their billing address, and they are prompted to click the "Continue" button, where below it states, "Your account will not be charged yet." Then, our customer was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. You are responsible for checking venue health and safety requirements for entry." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown was reiterated, along with any additional ticket notes. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $897.50 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.

As a secondary ticket marketplace, Tickets-Center.com is not affiliated with the artist or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box office. Our role is to act as an intermediary between fans and ticket holders. Because our customers are purchasing tickets listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that while we secure the delivery and validity of tickets, we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.

As all order details in question were accessibly and visibly displayed prior to placing their order, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns pertaining to their order, we encourage them to contact our customer service department.

I bought tickets from ticketscenter.com. Paid 730$ for 2 tickets and I can’t get any information about my tickets or track them. Come to find out there hasn’t been an official release of the tickets, so I basically paid 730$ for something that doesn’t exist.

The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value.”

Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for NBA YoungBoy, they were able to see the tickets available and the Delivery Method. After confirming their selection, they were directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $726.90 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $726.90 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.

Due to the nature of our business as a secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center therefore does not set or control delivery dates. Rather, the estimated delivery date is set by the individual seller of the selected tickets and is dependent upon a number of factors, including when the tickets are released by the primary issuer based on demand, with which Tickets-Center has no affiliation. In accordance with our Buyer Guarantee, our customer will be provided with their tickets in time for their event, as we work in close collaboration with ticket resellers for your order. We guarantee that you are backed by a 100% Buyer Guarantee, which gives you full peace of mind that your authentic tickets will arrive in time for your event. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.

    Regards,

We tried to buy tickets to a Reno Aces game. We were misled into thinking that the Ticket-Center.com website was the original seller, that is, the Reno Aces website. It is not; it is a reseller with a website designed to look like the original. Their website also exhorted that "only a few tickets are left" which prompted us to buy before checking further. Please see the attached document for more details. This is a mistake that we will not make again. We are hoping that this mistake will not cost us $511.

I wish to file a complaint as this company is operating unlawfully. I believed that I was purchasing tickets through the actual website for Keller Auditorium. Tickets-Center it is not straight forward in its advertising which made it look as though the tickets were on the actual Keller Auditorium website. Despite speaking to someone with in eight minutes they stated that there was nothing that can be done to cancel the tickets which at this point had not been received.
There are several issues with this transaction. First the website on the surface presented itself as a though it was Keller Auditorium. The website also represented information stating that tickets were selling out fast and that no more than three seats could be purchased together. In reality per the actual Keller Auditorium site there are a ton of tickets where more than three seats can be purchased together. Second, the price charged for these tickets is unlawful. There is a city code for Portland (14A.50.060) that states that it is unlawful for any person to sell or offer for sale any ticket for an event at any municipally owned facility at a price greater than the original retail price. Keller Auditorium is owned and operated by the City of Portland. The tickets on Keller Auditorium are for $65.95 with all taxes and fees included, yet the price per ticket on the website was $159 plus a bunch of alleged taxes and fees. It is unlawful to sell tickets for a municipally owned venue in this manner.

It should be noted that Tickets-Center.com is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers, and include disclosures that tickets may be above face value throughout our website.

Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for Riverdance, they were prompted to select the quantity of tickets they want. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $618.95 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. You are responsible for checking venue health and safety requirements for entry." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown was reiterated, along with any additional ticket notes. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $618.95 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my  issue.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
**In order for the bureau to continue to assist you, you MUST provide your view on the matter or your complaint will be closed as answered.
The website presents  itself in a way that with out very careful examination is misleading at best. In addition, there is a law in the City of a Portland that makes it unlawful to resell tickets for a municipally owned venue for a price that is over the cost of the original ticket price. In addition the original price must be listed on the tickets. To my understanding your company has violated this law and continues to violate it. The tickets were three times the price of the venue.

    Business Response

Thank you for responding. We appreciate the opportunity to further address our customer's concerns. Several disclaimers are displayed throughout the ticket selection and checkout processes denoting our status as a secondary ticket marketplace. Additionally, buyers are required to confirm that they are aware that they are purchasing through a secondary marketplace prior to placing any order. As stated in our previous response, prior  buyers are required to select a check box next to a message which reads "I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final." To this end, our company complies with all law applicable to an online secondary ticket marketplace.

In addition to this current claim, our customer has filed a dispute with their financial institution regarding this transaction. Due to the nature of the dispute process, we are unable to provide a resolution to this matter while this dispute remains open and encourage our customer to contact their financial institution with any questions regarding its process or outcome. As it currently stands, we consider this matter closed.
