Terrible company. As apparently has happed to others, I purchased tickets for a concert for a specific date and it has now changed. They refuse to refund even though my original purchase has changed.

Thank you for reaching out to us. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customer’s concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers.

With regard to the customer's event we would like to state that, customers will be appropriately compensated for any event which is cancelled outright and is not planned to be rescheduled. If, rather than cancelling, an event organizer postpones an event, we must adhere to the terms of use agreed to at the time of sale, which state “If an event is postponed or rescheduled, your order will not qualify for a refund and your tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date.” By placing their order, our customer agreed to these terms, which were available for review on the checkout page.

Since Tickets-Center operates as a secondary ticket marketplace we have taken no part in the decision-making process surrounding the event postponement. Such decisions are determined by the event production or venue, with which Tickets-Center has no affiliation. While we understand our customer's position and that they may not wish to attend the new event date, as outlined in our terms, their order does not qualify for compensation. As such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my  issue.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I already spoke to their customer service and was given the same answer.  I feel they are misrepresenting themselves here.  Just because they are saying they are a "reseller" does not, I feel, absolve them of the responsibility to provide what I purchased - not an alternative.  I bought tickets for a particular date, and the venue is offering refunds due to the change.  The business should treat me the same - or get a refund from the venue and then refund me.  Thank you.

Thank you for responding. We appreciate the opportunity to further address our customer's concerns and again clarify our policies. As previously stated, within our terms it is outlined that if an event is postponed or rescheduled, a refund will not be issued in such cases as the tickets will still be valid for the new event date. Therefore, at no point has Tickets-Center offered refunds for rescheduled events, in accordance with our terms and conditions. We will continue to adhere to the agreed upon “all sales are final” policy, and would like to reiterate that our customer accepted the terms of sale, which were available for review when they placed their order. At this time we consider this matter closed.

I was attempting to purchase tickets from the Kennedy Center's website to attend a show on March 20. Somehow instead of booking tickets directly from their website I ended up purchasing tickets from Ticket-Center.com., once I realized my mistake, Ticket-Center refused to give me a refund of any kind, despite the fact that the tickets have not shipped yet and the show is a month away.

    Business Response

    Date: 02/27/2025

Thank you for reaching out to us. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customer’s concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Our customer has stated that they believed they were purchasing through the website for the venue or of the event itself. However, it should be noted that our web address and website branding are intentionally different from those of any other site. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value.”

Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for Shear Madness, they were prompted to select the quantity of tickets they want. After they chose the number of tickets, they were able to see the tickets available. Once selected, the customer was provided with an in-depth description of their ticket information, event details, ticket quantity and any other notes related to the tickets. After confirming their selection and clicking "Get these tickets", the customer was directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $572.99 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Furthermore, they are asked to add their billing address, and they are prompted to click the "Continue" button, where below it states, "Your account will not be charged yet." Then, our customer was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the order summary below. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars. Some venues may require proof of vaccination or negative COVID test. You are responsible for checking venue health and safety requirements for entry." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown was reiterated, along with any additional ticket notes. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $572.99 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.

As a secondary ticket marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with the artist or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box office. Our role is to act as an intermediary between fans and ticket holders. Because our customers are purchasing tickets listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that while we secure the delivery and validity of tickets, we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. Prior to receiving this claim, we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer. As all order details in question were accessibly and visibly displayed prior to placing their order, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns pertaining to their order, we encourage them to contact our customer service department.

I am concerned that I don't actually have the show tickets yet. I paid over $500.00 to a third-party and I don't have the tickets in my hands. How can I trust this mystery third party seller?  Looking back, I must have assumed that this was just how the Kennedy Center sold their tickets. I realize now that was a stupid assumption, but now I'm at the mercy of some third party seller. I have no way of knowing if they are actually going to send me my tickets or not. What stops them from just pocketing the money? I won't feel this issue is resolved until I actually have my show tickets in hand.

Thank you for responding. We appreciate the opportunity to further address the customer's concerns and clarify our policies. It should also be noted, tickets for our customer's event were transferred to the email address they provided during checkout on 3/19/25 at 8:10 AM CST. Since valid tickets were provided to the customer prior to their event their order was fulfilled in accordance with our 100% Guarantee and as such their order does not qualify for compensation. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.

Attempted to purchase tickets for an event. I was directed to tickets-center.com where I selected (2) tickets for the event. It indicated that the tickets were non refundable. I completed the check-out and got an email confirmation of the tickets, but it was for the incorrect date. I called the company and they gave me no options except to sell the tickets on their site to buy others. Refused to give me a manager or an address to write a formal complaint.

This business hides behind a complicated process that is not easy to navigate to receive your tickets.  It's very misleading unless you are familiar with the ticket industry.  Just because you are a market place that should not remove you from resolving customer issues.  Why couldn't they connect me to the seller or contact them to explain the issue and repost those tickets and provide a refund.  They hide behind a few well positioned disclosures that you cannot expect an average person to fully understand in the multi-screen process.  In addition when you call for service you get someone that repeats the same line, no refunds sorry and no ability to talk to a supervisor nor would they give an address to wrote a formal complaint.  This is unacceptable.

I Purchased tickets through thus company. They are refusing to refund my tickets, the event was postponed and rescheduled for a date and time I cannot make. They are not willing to resell the tickets, even though there is plenty of time for them too. This is the second time this company has refused to refund tickets. This company needs to be banned from operation.

Customers will be appropriately compensated for any event which is cancelled and is not planned to be rescheduled. If, rather than cancelling, an event organizer postpones an event, we must adhere to the terms of use agreed to at the time of sale, which state that if an event is postponed or rescheduled, and the original tickets are valid for entry at the time of the rescheduled event, our customer’s order will not qualify for compensation. Date of transaction-12/12/2024. I had google ticketmaster and clicked on a site. Ordered tickets for Gracie abrams tickets for ju28th 2025 in nyc. When i got a confirmation email,it was from tickets-center.com. I was panicking with anxiety because i just spent $1700. On tickets from a site that wasn’t Ticketmaster. I quickly googled tickets center with all reviews saying the site is a scam.my email confirmation had stated that my tickets wont be sent till the day before the concert. All these reviews stated they never received the tickets ,it’s all a scam. I called my credit card company and they told me my dispute will not hold because of ticket center tickets are final.i am very upset. Please help me get my money back.

Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. Thank you for responding. We appreciate the opportunity to further address our customer's concerns. An electronic transfer containing Ms. Sama's tickets was sent to the email address on file as of January 30th, 2025. We hope that this alleviates her concerns regarding delivery of the tickets. The date cited in Ms. Sama's previous response is an estimated availability date provided by our trusted resellers; tickets may arrive before the indicated estimate, as they have in this case. We stand by our guarantee that valid, authentic tickets are delivered prior to the event. Tickets-Center.com facilitates the transfer and delivery of tickets to the satisfaction of live event fans each day, and if Ms. Sama has any additional concerns regarding her order we invite her to contact our customer care team directly. The transaction happened on 7 January for an even taking place on 18 January. Tickets-Center sold me 2 tickets for 234.95 in the the last row of the circus. On the circus's website, two seats in the second row only cost $135.68. They will not allow me to resell my tickets, refund them, or make any changes to my reservation saying I should have known because it was in the terms and conditions of the purchase which as we all know is hidden in legalese/fine print. Their website prides themselves on being able to re-sell tickets but I cannot and when I called them to make the change they could not do anything to help.

The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value”.

On 12/19/24, our customer placed an order which subsequently was cancelled due to an inability to fulfill the order. Two hours after that order was placed, our customer made another purchase from our website for the same event. When a duplicate order is made on our site, a pop-up window warning the customer of a potential inadvertent double-purchase allows the customer to check a box to verify this new purchase. In our customer's case, their second order is a verified double purchase and was delivered on the same date of purchase.

Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.

Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer to address all of their concerns. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.

    Regards,

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my  issue.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The business responded with two inaccurate claims: 1) that all sales are final, and 2) that they discussed and resolved the issue with me.1) Their claim that "all sales are final" is manifestly false. I purchased tickets originally in the morning. The sale went through and they gave me a confirmation number. The charge went through to my credit card and I received a notification from my credit card company that my card had been charged. Two hours later, they reversed that sale and sent me an email saying they were reversing it. But that was after the sale had occurred. It was after they gave me confirmation of the sale. It was after they charged my credit card. They made a sale to me. They confirmed that sale. Then later they reversed it. So, regardless of their claim, it's manifestly not true that all sales are final.2) When I called them about the additional charge they had made on my account later, they referred to the false claim that all their sales were final. The agent claimed they were unable to help me. I asked to speak with someone who could in fact help. The agent claimed they were unable to let me speak with anyone else. I asked for a supervisor and the agent claimed they had none. I asked to continue discussing the matter to try to resolve it. But the agent refused and hung up.

in September 2024, I bought tickets for a KebMo concert in Tallahassee Florida on October 1, 2024. I made arrangements to attend and transport from South Carolina so then I paid for tickets when arrangements made. Then was sent an email by Ticket Center before the concert that it was cancelled and moved to end of March 2025. I am unable to attend in March but no one asked me.

The tickets are $517.50 and parking $57.50. I called Ticket-Center and was treated rudely and told tough that Ticket-Center would not reimburse my money. No options available. I am just out the $575.00 which is a lot of money for no service or merchandise.

Very disappointing. I feel I was strong armed and beyond my control after so many arrangements and paying in good faith that the company would be honorable and not take advantage of clients.

I would appreciate it if Ticket-Center would reimburse the money.

The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value.”

At the time of purchase, in order to complete their order, our customer was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to our terms stating, "I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the order summary below. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars. [..]" Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown was provided. Directly below the “Place Order” button our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking "Place Order", your credit card will be charged $517.50 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees." at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.

We understand the customer has since indicated that they will no longer be able to attend the event. However, it should be noted that the customer cannot receive a refund for postponed or rescheduled events per the agreed-to terms and conditions which state: “If an event is postponed or rescheduled, your order will not qualify for a refund and your tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date.” Our sales policies, including our “all sales are final” policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase process—from a notice on every ticket page to a sales terms statement displayed at checkout with the message “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).”

In addition to this current claim, our customer filed a dispute with their credit card company regarding this order. We have addressed this, and the dispute was ultimately ruled in our favor. If our customer has any further questions regarding this dispute, we encourage them to reach out to the financial institution with which it was filed. At this time, we consider this matter closed.

On November 19th 2024 an unauthorized user used my credit card to purchase tickets believing the site was ticketmaster. I contacted the company for a refund since I did not make this purchase and was told I could resell but they could not help me. To top this off the tickets aren't garunteed until the day before the concert. I did recieve a set of tickets but they can't be added to my Google wallet and none of the buttons other than share on the screen work, I believe these to be fake.

I went on the Atlanta Fox Theater website to purchase tickets for their Cirque De Soleil Twas the Night Before Christmas event on Dec 8, 2024. I don't know how, but somehow I ended up purchasing the tickets through Ticket Center. Somehow they highjacked my purchase from the Fox Theater website. I clicked on seats in the orchestra row N and paid for the tickets. The price was reflective of the orchestra level seating $129/seat. My total prices was $341. But when I received the tickets, they were SLA row N, tickets that sell for $69.50 currently (nose bleed seats). I never would have paid $341 (over $170 per ticket) for these nose bleed seats. I did not notice the change to the seats if they made it when I clicked on the final purchase button. I am very angry because I can go onto the Fox Theater website and purchase good seats for the $129 price. Now my daughter and I have to sit in nosebleed seats knowing that I paid the price for the good seats. It is tempting to just go purchase the better seats on the Fox Theater website, but its Christmas and I cannot afford to pay for tickets twice. I tried calling Ticket Center to see if they could address the issue, but they refused. Said "all sales final". Told me to try reselling them. Right. Who would pay twice the price for tickets when they can buy them at regular price. This was straight up a bait and switch scam.
