$360.16 spent on 2 tickets to Clint Black Concert.
Tickets were to be delivered by June 8, 2023 prior to June 9, 2023 concert.
About a week before concert, it was rescheduled due to Clint Black needing surgery. Tickets did not arrive by June 8th as expected.
I reached out to customer service on June 8. I got a response a few days after stating they had reached out to the seller and tickets were to be reissued and they would monitor the situation. If they didn’t arrive on June 8th, I do not foresee them arriving at all. I should have done better at researching this company before buying tickets. They asked for more than twice the amount of what tickets would have cost on other sites. I didn’t realize that until it was too late. I read other reviews about this company and others had not received tickets to their venue, received tickets for a completely different venue, or even different seats than what they paid for. All I want is a refund. There is no reason why my tickets shouldn’t have already been received. Do not do business with this company.Business Response

Our customer has stated that they believed they were purchasing through the website for the venue or of the event itself. However, it should be noted that our web address and website branding are intentionally different from those of any other site. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Fast, easy and secure secondary marketplace tickets. Prices may be above or below face value."
Due to the nature of the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center does own or generate any tickets and therefore does not set or control delivery date or ticket listing price. Rather, the estimated ship date is set by the individual seller of the tickets and is dependent upon the primary issuer of the tickets, with which Tickets-Center has no affiliation. Please note that all purchases made on our website are covered by our Buyer Guarantee; however, in this case, in addition to this current claim our customer filed a dispute with their financial institution regarding this transaction. We have addressed this, and the dispute was ultimately ruled in the customer's favor. If our customer has any further questions regarding this dispute, we encourage them to reach out to the financial institution with which it was filed. As it currently stands, we consider this matter closed.

As it currently stands, our customer's event has been rescheduled for 8/24/23. While we understand that our customer is unable to attend the rescheduled date, it is stated in our terms that “if an event is postponed or rescheduled, [the customer's] order will not qualify for a refund and [their] tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date." Our customer agreed to the these terms prior to purchase, therefore we are unable to issue compensation, and we consider this matter closed. According to the terms on their website, they have a 100% guarantee as follows:
7. One Hundred Percent Guarantee. The 100% Guarantee means (i) that your transaction will be safe and secure, (ii) the tickets will be delivered prior to the event, (iii) the tickets will be identical, comparable, or better than the tickets you ordered, and (iv) the tickets will be valid and authentic. Your only recourse under this 100% Guarantee is compensation of the purchase price (including delivery charges, less possible restocking fees), in the form of credit for use on a future purchase or as a cash refund, as determined at our sole discretion except where prohibited by law. Please note that insurance costs will not be refunded and Item 12 below addresses canceled and postponed events.Additionally, the original seller of the tickets indicated that I have to go to wherever I bought the tickets, to get the refund from:

Received an email stating there is a WWE PPV event coming to Pittsburgh, PA & there was a link at the bottom of the email to buy tickets. I subscribe to items directly from the WWE, so I thought this email was from them & was taking to the Ticketmaster website to purchase tickets. The tickets for the event are not even on sale until June 27, but my transaction was processed on June 17. This company is telling me all sales are final, but how can you sell me something that you don't even have in your possession? They are refusing to cancel the transaction. The entire process is deceptive. The entire charge of $580 appeared on 6/17/23 on my credit card as pending, but on 6/19/23 when I look at my account, the only charges showing are a $1 charge & $1 credit from this company. The $580 is no longer displayed anywhere, but it shows my credit card balance is $580. My credit card company was also baffled by this. They are unable to initiate a dispute until the charge posts to my account. The credit card representative said "I don't quite understand how I can't see the charge, but it's there".Business Response

Tickets-Center does not own or generate tickets; rather, all tickets listed in our marketplace are managed and owned, by professional ticket resellers and pre-screened individual sellers who have already purchased those tickets. Tickets-Centers’ marketplace allows these sellers to resell their tickets in a secure, controlled e-commerce environment. Many of our professional resellers own season tickets for various teams or venues, or have direct business partnerships with teams, venues, and promoters. As a result, they are able to provide premium tickets or passes to sold-out events.
Our customer will received valid tickets for their event on 6/23/23. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. On 2/12/2023 I purchased 2 tickets to a Kenny Loggins concert that was to take place 6/17/2023 in Williamsburg, VA. I paid $639.95 for the tickets. I received instructions to pick up my tickets at Will Call. When I went to get my tickets, there was NOTHING. I am VERY angry. I want an apology and my money back.Business Response

Please note that prior to receiving this claim, our customer had not informed us that they had an issue at their event. In order to investigate further we attempted to contact our customer to understand the matter, but we were unsuccessful. Tickets-Center facilitates thousands of successful ticket transfers each day with satisfied customers, so we are confident of the efficacy of our processes. During the checkout process, customers are able to view the delivery format for their tickets. The selection our customer made was electronic transfer, where sellers transfer the tickets using the platform that the venue has issued tickets through. Customers receive an email with instructions on how to access their tickets, as well as a separate email which contains a link to claim their tickets, advising them to do so.
On 6/3/2023 we spoke with Mr. ***** and attempted to troubleshoot. Our records indicate that the original ticket transfer took place on 6/2/2023 at 4:17 PM CST and we detect no issues with the original transfer. As such, we maintain our customer’s order was successfully fulfilled and aligns with our Buyer’s Guarantee.
Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.

At the time of purchase, in order to complete their order, our customer was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to our terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown was provided. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $198.50 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.
Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. As such, ticket listing prices are set by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors. On 5/26/23 I purchased tickets for a ballet at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC on 6/10/23. Ticket-Center's website came up when I googled for tickets leading me to think I was on the Kennedy Center Site. The site claimed tickets were going fast and I purchased 3 tickets for $129 each. At check out, I was charged an additional $39 per ticket as a service fee. I thought that was high, but I'd not been to a ballet at this venue. I realized the ticket seller was a third party when I received the confirmation email, hence the expensive service fee. The insult was compounded when I received 3 tickets with a face value of $49 each. I paid a total of $534.83 for 3 $49 tickets. I contacted the business and was told this can happen with resale tickets. I don't understand how that can even be legal. I wasn't even aware I was getting resale tickets.Business Response

Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for New York City Ballet, they were able to see the tickets available and the Delivery Method. After confirming their selection, they were directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $534.83 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Then, our customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars." I wanted to get tickets for the upcoming baseball game and the site opened when I went o get the tickets. I put in my information and was charged $170 for $15 dollar tickets. I didn't authorize the payment but suddenly my email changed from blade381@hotmail to blade381@gmail. The process went through when I hit cancel and suddenly it charged my card. I contacted the company and was unable to get anyone to find my account. I then called back and they hung up on me. I recently purchased tickets from Ticket Center. They sent me an email saying the tickets would electronically arrive within the next week. A couple of days later they sent me an email saying the tickets were cancelled with a $50 voucher that expires within a month. They said all sales are final and will not refund my purchase even though they cancelled the order.
This is such a scam and I am so disappointed. DO NOT purchase from this company!Business Response

I received an email confirmation for a transaction to this website, Tickets-Center.com for tickets to a concert. I contacted them immediately and told them this was an unauthorized transaction. I asked for a refund within 10 minutes of the email via phone and live chat with an agent. All personnel were adamant that there was not way to cancel the charge to my credit card.
Next, I read the fine print of the terms and conditions, as the agents kept referring to them. The first key term states the following:
"All orders placed on this Website are considered requests to purchase until you receive confirmation of the availability of the tickets and acceptance of your order by the Ticket Reseller."
Upon reading the email that was sent to me regarding the erroneous/fraudulent charge, it clearly stated that no tickets were yet to be issued. I let the agents know that I was absolutely entitled to a full refund due to the following: 1) Unauthorized charges for the tickets to my card within minutes of the transaction, 2) The fact that their first term and condition stated on their site indicated that every charge made was merely a request from a customer to purchase (not an actual sale), which I was in fact NOT requesting, and 3) The email I received was also not a confirmation of any request, nor a fulfillment of any kind of any such request, nor was it in anyway close to a confirmed sale.
Due to all of this, I insisted on a refund. After thirty minutes of going around in circles with their customer service, the agent, located outside the U.S., insisted there would be no refund, no matter what, and then discontinued the chat.
I searched online and found that the site, Tickets-Center.com is at the center of countless complaints just like mine, in addition to the confirmation of several complaint filings, and urgings for others to file with the BBB. Iwould like a full refund ($288) from Tickets-Center.com for this erroneous/fraudulent charge of order #5413331.Business Response

The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value.”
In reference to our customer's claim, once an order is placed on our site it is reviewed for potential fraudulent activity. Orders are only confirmed if no evidence of fraud is found. Please note that the name and email address associated with the order match the information on this complaint. This means that the tickets delivered prior to our receiving this claim were sent to the customer. Additionally, at the time of purchase an “all sales are final” policy was agreed to. This policy took effect once the order was confirmed and was not dependent on the delivery of the purchased tickets. Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer to address their concerns. We maintain that all terms of use were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.
