I bought tickets in Nov 2023 from tickets center and thought it was the official selling site for the venue. I should have known their pressure/tickets selling fast tactics were a red flag. My credit card didn't even go through so they clearly have them flagged as a site that customers try to get their $ back. But I paid through paypal and then was not able to cancel as I did click through and buy. Then found that the seats were still available for 1/3 of the price on ticketmaster. The contact us link in the confirmation email didn't even work, they wouldn't cancel the transaction when I was able to chat during open hours the next day. They say they re-sell tickets, but they won't even resell my tickets, which I see now their site says is their business model. The seats do not even match the seats on ticketmaster once I received them. They have so many unethical business practices.Business Response

Thank you for reaching out to us. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customer’s concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value.”
Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for Butler Ballet - The Nutcracker, they were able to see the tickets available and the Delivery Method. After confirming their selection, they were directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $349.50 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Then, our customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown is reiterated. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $349.50 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.
Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. Furthermore, our records indicate that tickets for our customer's event were transferred electronically through a third-party platform to the email address they provided during checkout on 11/15/23 6:34 AM CST. The email customer received contains instructions and a link to claim their tickets.
In addition to this current claim, our customer has filed a dispute with their PayPal account regarding this order. We are unable to provide a resolution to this matter while this dispute remains open due to the nature of the dispute process. We encourage our customer to contact the institution with which the dispute was filed in relation to any questions they may have regarding its process or outcome. As it currently stands, we consider this matter closed.

My wife and I purchased 4 tickets to a kenny loggins concert in Williamsburg Virginia this summer. The tickets were misrepresented to be VIP tickets and sold at a much higher price. The tickets that were sold were actually lawn seats that had a face value of 25. This company uses bait and switch tactics to advertise tickets that don't exist in order to sell them at a higher price If you have been scammed by this company please join our ticket scam victims group on Facebook. I will not rest until I receive the refund of the difference from this company or until we are collectively able to shut them down. I have put in calls and emails to a number of media outlets regarding this scamBusiness Response

The business made no efforts to right the wrong and as is typical with all of the litany of complaints has chosen to hide behind a wall of legalese gibberish. The business basically is saying, what we did is legal and you fell victim to our scam. While this business continues to hide in a legal grey area , they are most surely not operating ethically. They have a deceptive platform that sells non existent products marked up and made to look as VIP packages. They additionally create fake surge pricing giving the impression that the tickets are scarce but if you go over to the venue site you can see the actual tickets and scarcity does not match what they are selling. There are a number of deceptive sales tactics being used to fool customers into paying for phony ticket packages. If you are a victim of this company there are a number of actions we can all take to get justice. First off search for facebook ticket victims groups. THere are a number of us in there and we will help you create the form letters you need to file complaints. Contest the charges with your credit card company as they may be able to help get your money back. Report this company on ripoff report and any other consumer review site you can find as these sites are used by attorneys to find class action leads. File a complaint with your state attorney general detailing your experiences. IF you have a significant other have them file too as it takes volume to get the attention of elected officials. Next file a complaint with the AG from Delaware, Virginia, Illinois and any other states they operate in. Next write letters to your state and national congress reps making them aware of the fraudulent tactics. There are many victims in the groups who will help you write the letters and I am creating an application that will allow you to send these letters to numerous political officeholders at the same time. Additionally send a letter to the congressional representatives from the states listed above alerting them to the business practices of this company occurring within their borders. So many people have been victimized and we need to come forward en masse so that the AG's and legislators will take this seriously. You can also file a complaint against your credit card company with the CFPB since they are an accessory to the scam and banks take CFPB complaints very seriously.

All our customers are guaranteed to receive their tickets in time for their event. The seller who list on our site, purchase their tickets directly from the primary market and list their inventory on our platform, this assures our customer's receive valid and authentic tickets. Our customer purchased tickets for section: GA (General Admission) and that is what they received. We have abided by the agreed terms, therefore we are unable to offer our customer compensation.

I purchased tickets on 10/6/23 for an event happening in 1/20/24 online after following the top google search results for what appeared to be the official ticket center. After purchasing the tickets (Total = $789.58), I realized I had not received the digital tickets. I emailed them on 10/12/23 as the links in the confirmation email did not work. I tried to find a way to locate my order on the website, but there was no information.
I finally came across multiple online reviews claiming the website was imitating the official sales website by promoting their page to the top of the search at google, which gives the impression it is the official site. The representative from the company claimed that the purchase was legally binding, non-refundable, and I was not allowed to cancel. I can only sell the tickets on their site, but the company retains a large percentage as a "fee." I am fine with losing a few hundred dollars because I accidentally overpaid and got scammed...it happens, but they refuse to send me my tickets until "around 1/18/2024," which is 2 days before the event occurring in 2 months and the tickets are digital...
So not only did the company misrepresent the official primary sales site, they are holding my tickets hostage only offering me an opportunity to regain a fraction of my original purchase by forcing me to only re-sell my ticket on their platform so that they can a large portion of my money (again) hoping that someone else falls victim to their price-gauging trap website.
They are unwilling to work with me to cancel my purchase and are trying to force me to use their website to trap another consumer into a poor business model where the consumer is tricked, manipulated, and trapped into using their service for significantly higher than the tickets sell for on the primary market. This is absolutely a scam and a predatory business practice hurting consumers and the industry they are trying to support honestly.Business Response

The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value”.
Our checkout process allows each customer several opportunities to view all details of an order, including the estimated delivery date of their tickets, prior to purchase. In our customer's case, the estimated delivery date of January 18th, 2024 was provided below the breakdown of our customer's order total on the right-hand side of the checkout screen. Due to the nature of our business as a secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center does not own or generate any tickets and therefore does not set or control delivery dates. Rather, the estimated delivery date is set by the individual seller of the selected tickets and is dependent upon a number of factors, including when the tickets are released by the primary issuer, with which Tickets-Center has no affiliation. In accordance with our 100% Buyer Guarantee, our customer will be provided with their tickets in time for their event.
Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer to address all of their concerns. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. I contacted them already and they told me that I could not cancel my order and I that the only option aside from hoping that they would deliver the tickets in time would be to sell the tickets on their site. If I sell the tickets on the site, which I would have to do without physically ever holding the tickets, I would also have to pay their ridiculously high service fees, losing almost half of my total original money. Why are they allowing me to sell the tickets on their site without me having the tickets, but they won’t let me cancel the order. That is unacceptable. I contacted them to cancel the order when I realized my mistake that I purchased from the wrong site, but they refused to cancel the order. It is not reasonable to receive the tickets for an event that far in advance but not allow a cancellation of the order within a few days of purchase. This is predatory behavior that is designed to trick consumers to losing lots of money.

This organization makes it look looks it is the primary site for the Kennedy center but it is not. They pressure you into ordering quickly. I bought 2 tickets in August 29, 2023 for a concert at Mohegan Sun Arena-CT on Nov. 4 2023 at 8:00 PM to see Paul Anka. My order summary #56840201 verified the Section Floor 2 Row M for 2 tickets. It noted that I would need to use an iOS or Android mobile device to download my tickets so they could be scanned at the venue on the night of the concert. The 2nd page of the order showed my name and address and the total price of $339.50. It said to contact them immediately if I had any issues with the sale. The words TicketsCenter were printed on that 2nd sheet. I had not received the downloadable tickets with the scan code and called the number listed (800-833-7698) and was told they would be sent to my iPhone at 11:59 PM on Nov 3. They were sent to my phone on Fri, Nov 3 at 12:15 AM. I was not able to download them. When my wife and I went to the concert we found out the screen shot was not acceptable. My wife called the number and they told us they would fix it. After more than 30 minutes and a person telling her that they were trying to address it with their supervisor, we realized they were giving us the run-a-round. We ended up purchasing two tickets to see the show for an additional $116.00. These tickets were in a balcony to the side of the stage back at least 150 feet where we had to turn sideways to get the view we would have had on the floor. The beginning of their AD looked like we were dealing with TicketsCenter and not Tickets-Center. In looking up the website for BBB I was amazed at how many people have been scammed by them and yet they still continue to deceive innocent people with their practices. I would like to think that there is someway they can be put out of business. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to file this complaint.Business Response

Tickets-Center facilitates thousands of successful ticket transfers each day with satisfied customers, so we are confident of the efficacy of our processes. During the checkout process, customers are able to view the delivery format for their selected tickets. The selection this customer made was electronic transfer, where sellers transfer the tickets using the platform that the venue has issued tickets through. The customer received an email with instructions on how to access their transfer which also contained a link to claim their tickets. If customers encounter any issues with accessing their tickets through their link, we always welcome them to contact our care team for troubleshooting.
We have confirmed that the ticket transfer was delivered on 11/2/2023 and maintain that the link sent was valid. While we understand and regret that the customer may have experienced issues accessing their ticket transfer, as Tickets-Center is not associated with any venue or primary ticket market the issues experienced by the customer were outside our purview. As it presently stands, the customer's order was appropriately fulfilled and as such does not qualify for compensation. We appreciate the customer's understanding throughout this matter and if they have any further questions regarding their order we encourage them to contact our customer care team.

On October 29, 2023 I purchased two tickets to a New York Philharmonic Concert to be Held on December 16, 2023. After doing so I realized that I had the wrong concert on the wrong date. Within 15 minutes I called the Ticket Center customer service number to arrange to have the tickets changed. I was told that the tickets were confirmed and that they could be changed or a refund granted. While I think reporting an error within 15 minutes is not unreasonable, I indicted that they should just send me the tickets and I would resell them. The representative told me that they could not send them because they didn't have them. They would be getting them from a third party and that they would be sent to me no later than December 14. Of course at that point a resale would be difficult. I often use Ticketmaster and StubHub and assumed Ticket Center would handle their service the same way. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Even through in retrospect I could have purchased the same tickets at a much lower price, I am not complaining about that. My issues is the unwillingness of them to work with me to find a solution. The customer service agent I work with was John (#1318051) who was located in the Philippines. I'm sure he was just following the party line so I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told that no supervisor would talk with me and that no one would call me back. While a refund would be nice, my primary reason in writing is to alert other consumers of the practices of this organization so that they will not make my mistakes.Business Response

It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value”
Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for New York Philharmonic - Holiday Brass, they were able to see the tickets available. Once selected, they are taken to a page with an in-depth description of their ticket information, event details, ticket quantity, delivery method and any other notes related to the tickets. After confirming their selection, they were directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $356.00 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. All prices are listed in US Dollars. Some venues may require proof of vaccination or negative COVID test. You are responsible for checking venue health and safety requirements for entry." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown is reiterated. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $356.00 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.
Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer to address all of their concerns. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.

I bought tickets through ticketmaster and my account got hacked and the tickets were stolen. They said that I need to contact the seller of the tickets because they didn't sell them to get a refund. Tickets center said that they are not responsible for the refund because they were transferred to the ticketmaster account. Both parties are pointing the blame on the other. I just want my money back. Angel at ticketmaster told me to contact the bank and have them reverse the charge. So that's basically fraud!!!!Business Response

Purchased tickets for a broadway show on Sunday for a total cost of $248.95 and noticed that the downloaded tickets referenced $69 dollars for an obstructed view - meaning Tickets Center up charged me by 360%.
I called and the first individual (Roberto) dropped the call and the lady I spoke to stated no refund would be issued. I would like a refund as this is ridiculous and ultimately daytime robbery.Business Response

I purchased 2 tickets to the Nashville Symphony Orchestra/Bela Fleck concert on 9/9/23. I thought I was on the Nashville Symphony website but somehow I ended up on Tickets-Center.com website where I purchased 2 tickets in the rear orchestra section for the total price of $341.90. I didn’t download or review my tickets until yesterday. Then, I realized that Tickets-Center.com is a re-seller (not an authorized ticket seller for the NSO) and that I have been scammed.
The symphony’s ticket policy posted on their website clearly states as follows:
TICKET POLICY: ... NashvilleSymphony.org is the only authorized and official outlet for purchasing tickets to concerts at Schermerhorn Symphony Center ... The resale of this ticket at a price higher than the original purchase price is strictly prohibited. In the event of such resale ... the Association reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel this ticket and/or its associated Nashville Symphony account without the issue of a refund ...
The tickets I purchased from this business violate this policy and are not legitimate.
Tickets-Center.com website is deceptive the moment the ticket selection process is activated. For example: 1) a 9:59 timer is activated with a warning that “tickets may no longer be available after this time.” 2) “Inventory is limited.” & 3) “364 people ordered tickets in the last hour.”
Contrary to the misrepresentations on this website, there are still plenty of seats available for this concert from the symphony in the section I selected. In fact, I purchased 2 additional replacement tickets in a row much closer to the performance than are the tickets I bought from this company. Those 2 tickets cost $76 each at face value. There are plenty of tickets available near those that I bought from this company. Those tickets are currently selling for $43 each.
I am not pleased about being misled and ripped off by this company.Business Response
