I discovered a charge on my credit card that was not made by me. I am filing a case with my Card Holder Service to file a fraud charge. I would never order tickets from this website, they are over priced, and a 3rd party reseller that illegally charges way more than allowed. The receipt in the attached document WAS NOT ME!!!Business Response

Thank you for reaching out to us. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customers’ concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Independent resale tickets, prices may be above face value.”
Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for Six the Musical, they were able to see the tickets available. Once selected, they are taken to a page with an in-depth description of their ticket information, event details, ticket quantity, delivery method and any other notes related to the tickets. After confirming their selection, they were directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $525.39 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Then, our customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars. Some venues may require proof of vaccination or negative COVID test. You are responsible for checking venue health and safety requirements for entry." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown is reiterated. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $525.39 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.
Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.
Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer. We maintain that all ticket details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.

I am not disputing their services or how they do business! I am disputing that the charge was made by me and since I have no access the email that was used I will not receive the items that I “allegedly” paid for.

I placed an order with this company by mistake. They did not send me what I ordered and when I looked them up online I learned it was a scam. I called to cancel my transaction almost immediately and they refused to do so even though the payment had not posted to my credit card. They claimed they had no “resources” to cancel it. Put me on hold to speak to a manager. Customer service person was clearly reading a script.Business Response

I attempted to purchase concert tickets from a venue in New York. Unbeknownst to me, my search had been hijacked by a third party. It looked like a legitimate transaction with the New York venue but was in fact being channeled through TicketsCenter. Not until after I hit purchase for a pair of tickets, and received an email from TicketsCenter, did I realize that, not only had I not been dealing with the New York venue, they had sold me tickets to a concert venue in Illinois. After much difficulty I finally located a number for TicketsCenter. The company denies responsibility.Business Response

No amount of legal boilerplate absolves Tickets-Center from responsibility for knowingly hijacking people's search for tickets. People only hit the purchase button because they've been duped into thinking that they're buying from the venue's ticket agency. In this case, Tickets-Center didn't even sell tickets to the correct venue! No one would willingly purchase tickets from this company. Their only means of revenue is via deception and theft.

I thought I was buying concert tickets from ticketcenter.com. Last night (technically 12/5/23 because it was almost 2am), I bought two "tickets" for an upcoming show in Albuquerque next June (Red Hot Chili Peppers). I was expecting them immediately and didn't receive them. Then, I realized what actual company I had ordered them from and found they are scammers. I also found that the tickets I thought I bought aren't even going to be released until Friday. I emailed, chatted, and called them twice asking for a refund. They told me they can't cancel or refund the order and that I'd receive the tickets digitally on June 5th, 2024. That is unacceptable. I want my money back and will not accept scam tickets from them, even if/when they offer them.Business Response

Thank you for reaching out to us. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customer’s concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Our customer has stated that they believed they were purchasing through the website for the venue or of the event itself. However, it should be noted that our web address and website branding are intentionally different from those of any other site. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Fast, easy and secure secondary marketplace tickets. Prices may be above or below face value."
A message stating, “Site displays resale marketplace tickets. Prices may be above or below face value. Not affiliated with any box office or venue.” is displayed on the top of every page throughout the checkout process. Furthermore, when placing their order our customer was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to our terms stating, "I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the order summary below. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars. Some venues may require proof of vaccination or negative COVID test. You are responsible for checking venue health and safety requirements for entry." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown was provided. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking "Place Order", your credit card will be charged $399.50 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees." at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.
Due to the nature of the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center does own or generate any tickets and therefore does not set or control delivery date or ticket listing price. Rather, the estimated ship date is set by the individual seller of the tickets and is dependent upon the primary issuer of the tickets, with which Tickets-Center has no affiliation. Please note, all purchases made on our website are covered by our 100% Guarantee, which ensures that authentic tickets will arrive before the event. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. As all relevant order details and terms of use were sufficiently displayed prior to the customer completing their order we consider this matter closed. If the customer has any additional concerns pertaining to their order, we encourage them to contact out customer service department.

**In order for the bureau to continue to assist you, you MUST provide your view on the matter or your complaint will be closed as answered.I still feel like I was scammed, and I know from the reviews for this company on several sites (including the BBB), dozens of people have felt the same way after accidentally making a purchase from this site. I feel I was tricked into clicking on this website. It was 2 am and I was tired; they've paid Google to show up as one of the first sponsored results when searching for concert tickets, and they know people will think they're clicking on the legitimate "ticketcenter.com" (which is what I thought I was doing). Also, even if I would eventually receive tickets from them, I really have no idea if they're going to be legitimate because I've been told I won't receive them until a day before the concert, which is June 5th, 2024. That's ridiculous and unacceptable, even if they are a "secondary reseller" or whatever.

Thank you for responding. We appreciate the opportunity to further address the customer's concerns and clarify our policies. As stated in our initial response, our web address and website branding are intentionally different from those of any other site. On the top of the home page as well as every event page it is clearly stated: "Fast, easy and secure secondary marketplace tickets. Prices may be above or below face value." The event pages also include the following disclosure across from the event information: "Site displays resale marketplace tickets. Prices may be above or below face value. Not affiliated with any box office or venue." Please note that these disclosures are not hidden in any way, they are the same font size as other information on the page and have contrasting font colors so as to be easily noticeable.
As previously stated, all orders placed on our site are covered by our 100% Guarantee which ensures that tickets will arrive in time for the event, that they will be legitimate and valid for entry to the selected event. We stand by our guarantee but would like to clarify that it does not allow for cancellation upon request. We maintain that all order details and relevant terms were disclosed and agreed to prior to the customer placing their order, and as it stands, we consider this matter closed.

On 11/28/23 I purchased two tickets through Tickets-Center.com for the Nutcracker December 14 performance at Kentucky Center. At the time I thought I was purchasing through an affiliate of the venue but became concerned when they would not verify my seats and only the section and aisle. I paid $129 each for tickets plus an additional $52 each in fees and taxes. When I called the box office of the venue, I was told I was scammed and that plenty of seats were available for $35 each. I contacted the website immediately to request a refund and was told no refund would be made.Business Response

on 11/21/2023 I searched ticketmaster and this site came up. I purchased tickets (order 59550922) only to find it was not a legitimate venue for tickets that were not to be resold. They boast a 5-star review. I checked numerous sites and they have fraudulently stated this. The tickets from this venue are not to be resold and they are facilitating this. I tried to contact customer service and its non-existant. They have a chat, but its not live and just states canned comments. Im not buying illegal tickets. My daughter passed away a few months ago and this is something im doing to honor her memory as she loves performing in the ballet. This company has put a stain on this. make it rightBusiness Response

Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking "Place Order", your credit card will be charged $250.85 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees." at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.
Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. However, our customer can be assured that all orders placed through our site are covered by our 100% Guarantee, which ensures the tickets will be valid for the scheduled event. We maintain that all relevant terms were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.

I clicked to purchase tickets to a venue and immediately realized it was not in the location I thought it was in. Between the Saturday evening show and the Sunday evening show was the difference between being in California versus San Antonio, Texas, which I didn't realize upon clicking. I immediately got on an online chat within 3 minutes and tried to get the tickets changed, I dealt with their AI and two agents who immediately quoted me their rules about not being able to change the tickets. They agents could not escalate and again quoted me the Sales Terms. You either get it right the first time with this company or pay the price for an incorrect click. They know it and exploit in on their customers. They are a third party seller and do not have the best interest of customers in mind. I will not make this mistake again and I hope to prevent others from making the same mistake.Business Response

It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value”.
On 11/20/2023 our customer search and selected tickets for Herb Alpert and Lani Hall at The Soraya Valley Performing Arts Center on 1/27/24. Once they selected the ticket listing they desired, they were taken to a page with an in-depth description of their ticket information, event details, delivery method and any other notes related to the tickets. After confirming their selection they were directed to input their email address. Please note that here, an order summary which shows the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected is displayed on the right-hand side of their screen throughout the rest of the checkout process. Once our customer input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Then, our customer was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars. [...]" Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown was reiterated. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $594.95 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my issue. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
**In order for the bureau to continue to assist you, you MUST provide your view on the matter or your complaint will be closed as answered.Ticket-Center is built on deceiving their customers by their web site name, their web site design layout and their small print. Their response makes it seem like they did everything they could to help their customers but they are unable to help their customers if a mistake has been made. They simply justify their unwillingness to do anything on behalf of the customer. I wanted tickets and bought them from their website only to find out after clicking that the venue between the advertised Sunday show and Saturday show were at two different locations a month apart. THE LOCATION WAS NOT APPARENT ON THEIR WEBSITE AS IT WAS ASKING ME TO VERIFY MY CHOICE. After I clicked and purchased the tickets it popped up with the venue and that's when I realized that I had bought the tickets for the wrong location. "TOO BAD" said Ticket-Center. I was on the phone immediately with someone from Ticket-Center and they could do nothing except remind me that I had clicked the button. I emailed the company also, and the response was that if I disputed the charge, it would simply delay payment to them, and in the end they would show the bank that I had clicked a button agreeing to everything. That alone should show the illegitimacy of these types of companies. You witnessed their long winded and canned response to my complaint. Please, Delaware, do not allow companies like this to tarnish your states reputation. Thanks.

Thank you for responding. We appreciate the opportunity to further address the customer's concerns and clarify our policies. Please note that our website and purchase process are completely user driven. As such, Ticket-Center cannot alter the selections a buyer makes during the checkout process. The customer's order confirmation reflects the event and listing they selected when completing their order. Our customer's order was appropriately fulfilled with tickets for the event they selected and aligns with our 100% Guarantee. We maintain that all order details and relevant terms were disclosed and agreed to prior to the customer placing their order and as it stands we consider this matter closed.

I got online after hearing Bush was coming to town. I googled the metra park arena and went to the website I thought was the metra. I purchased 2 tickets and then went back later thinking the flash tickets were not familiar to me as I had bought from the metra website before. There were many tactics trying to rush me such as a count -down clock and messages saying there were not many tickets remaining and a certain amount had been bought in the last hour.
I finally realized I had not bought from the metra website and had paid almost triple the amount. There were plenty of tickets still available, so it is a complete scam to make you hurry through your decision and make a purchase you normally would not have.
As the concert gets closer, the account I had to set up to get my tickets says I have no upcoming events. I probably won't even get the tickets after paying all that money for nothing.Business Response
