      First I do have a paid subscription since Mid March 2024. I Got a message someone wants to meet me on Zoosk.; I responded and can't even see if message was sent. If one pays one can see if it was read like most everything else they want more money they have no real Help system and it was Not Clearly Shown Prior to enrollment that only paid members can communicate. I doubt I will continue my subscription, because one gets very little for the money. Seems unless the recieving party also has a subscription not much communication can happen. Most everything else one has to pay additional money, to ad insult to injury, the message remove the Lady I sent the message to in the first place. A rating of 1(One) is to high for this company. Note the same company runs a lot of same type sites that maybe just as useless so buyer be ware.

      First, Zoosk charged my credit card TWICE on the same day for renewal. February 9, 2024. Once for $53.94. The second time for $69.95. Total for the two is $123.89. Secondly, multiple attempts to contact Zoosk for clarification have failed. I can find no direct phone numbers for customr service. I can find no email addresses for customer service. Third, I called a contact number listed on my credit card statement. I got an answering service recording that began with a series of sales pitches for products and/or services, all of which are/were unsolicited and a waste of my time. This was/is an exacerbating insult. It appears that the only way to establish contact is electronically. And for all I know that might be infused with artificial intelligence. Finally, Zoosk policy on payment is NO REFUNDS. And renewal is AUTOMATIC, meaning that a member is blind sided by the appearance of a renewal on a credit card. If it were possible I would rate their service a negative five stars. In my view, Zoosk is a scam in a number of ways, starting with their having stolen $123.89 from me via charges against my credit card. (See other one star reviews.) The only thing Zoosk has done is deactivate my profile; but Zoosk keeps sending to me possible matches in their attempt to suck me back into reactivation. I wish there were some way to destroy Zoosk.

Any phone number found online should not be considered a valid contact for our company. Regarding your subscription status, our subscriptions renew unless canceled before the renewal date. You can cancel the renewal at any time via your account Settings. Our records indicate that you contacted our customer care team but they weren't able to locate your profile.       I lost my husband to cancer a while back and thought I would join an online dating service to see what was out there. I joined zoosk and was blocked by an administrator after a couple of weeks. When I asked why I was blocked, the response was they detected inconsistencies and I needed to send a picture of my DL, I sent that and radio silence. Never heard back from them and still blocked. I have no clue why I was blocked, I asked for an explanation and never got a response. It took alot for me to join a site and now I am highly discouraged. I did nothing wrong, was just looking for company.

      I tried canceling the subscription through the app (stop subscription button) but they took more money out anyway and now won’t refund!

      awful, awful experience. Lots of fake accounts that attempt to get you connected off the site. Matches are just not great, so not really sure what good the questionnaire does. It is almost as if no one is bothering to really make sure matches are really successful. Tried to get a refund right after joining - only to be told no. Fine print is that you can only do it as soon as you join which is kind of ridiculous.

      Would never recommend this, there is nothing elite about this.

      Absolute waste of money! I was on for approx 2 weeks. All my matches where over the distance range that I “mark” very important, I was matched with men who were looking for men or talking about their late husbands- no way for me to fix this! I very specifically stated I wanted an extrovert, matches were the introverts…it just goes on.
      I emailed customer service, they told me to make my preferences have more importance- they were already marked with high importance. They were unable to offer money back but did offer that I could give the account to a friend..laughable, why would I do that to someone.
      Not one of the matches came off as either real or educated (unable to tell the difference since I had no contact with them) the me person I sent a “hi” to responded with a response that did not come off as genuine (IMO).
      Their icons were not explained and were somewhat confusing. I asked about that in the aforementioned email but they did not address it.

      Terrible experience. I subscribed at the end of December and have lost count of how many fake profiles I encountered! I feel so violated and weary of trying to weed through to see if anyone is real. I hope ES will somehow improve their screening process, or just get out of the business. Really makes me question the whole online experience. And of course, when I complained, there was no refund. Feels like a very unsafe site!

      I signed up on ES 6 weeks ago and have had a terrible experience. I attempted to get a refund via the customer care form. The agent responded best she could but was unable to refund policy. Ultimately though, this is a terrible service. There are so many fake profiles, I've begun to wonder if ES is creating them to have more options. I've been catfished multiple times. We shouldn't have to constantly worry about every profile. You've ruined the fun of meeting people online. I signed up for 6 months to allow time to meet someone and it was the more cost effective option. Turned out to be a total waste of money. You need major changes to be successful. Oh, and your site is not user friendly. The app doesn't allow me to log in, so it's unusable. You need new leadership who can make this site work as your statements say. Currently you're failing us clients miserably.

      Less than 1 star. I joined CM on January 2 of this year and was so unhappy with the lack of acceptable men in my area that I sent the following message on the afternoon of the same day: “ My name is —I joined CM today and am not happy with the quality of eligible men in my geographical area. I would like a full refund of my monthly subscription. I tried calling but your phone number is not in service. I also tried chat and never got someone to help me. You can reach me at ——.” I sent another text message on January 7 because I had not gotten a response. I want a full refund of the $49.00 I paid for a month’s subscription.

      I stupidly signed up for a 6-month subscription EliteSingles and connected with 4 people. 1 didn't work out and the other 3 turned out to be scammers. The basic formula is that a scammer makes accounts that look maybe a little too good to be true, but still very believable. A few even take the time to say something in English about your profile, but the end of the paragraph is an invitation to connect outside the EliteSingles website. If you don't respond immediately, they say something challenging like, "I need a man whose not constrained by time and distance." Or even a gentler, "Did I scare you off?"

      Within the first week, I asked to cancel and they told me that after 4 days, I could not. I set my account to not autorenew, but now I'm out $224.38. I suggested they could convert me to a 1-month subscription and make that non-renewing, but that's not their policy.

      I strongly recommend people avoid EliteSingles at least for the next few months (it's Dec 2023) until they get their scammer detection worked out. It's not like this on other dating platforms.
