  I subscribed for 3 months. They make auto-renew the default for subscribing. Then they make cancelling an onerous, circuitous process which I wasn't able to navigate effectively. You can't cancel directly through the app. The app instructs you to go to iTunes, in my case. I went to iTunes, and found no evidence of any Zoosk subscription in my account. Asking the support personnel ("Arnie"), he told me it's in the settings section of the app. This is untrue. So I am stuck with an extra 3 months of looking at the same 8-10 women in my remote area, with whom I have a mutual disinterest. A decent, honest site would refund my money, but these folks seem to have no intention of doing that. I'd give less than one star if I could!

  You responded to my negative review very unsatisfactory. All dating sites use bait profiles. You write the same response to everyone but refuse to change your process. I asked for a prorated refund and was told all sales are final. The more negative press you get the less business you'll get so I hope you go out of business over dishonest practices.

We use a variety of resources and fraud detection tools and software to help our users have a successful dating experience. As mentioned, if you're not seeing a member on the site anymore, it is because they were either removed by our team or they elected to deactivate their profile.   They have tons of bait profiles. If you're not paying you get likes and messages from cute guys, then you pay and those guys are nowhere to be found. We should start a class action lawsuit, Match paid out a bundle for the same thing.

  Jdate is the WORST dating app! The members are outdated (no longer active, but still shown on the "active" list!!!), the site does not work properly (you cannot see more than the SAME 10 people, and even though I am now NO LONGER A MEMBER, I am NOW getting emails from potential dates. Jdate will NOT unsubscribe me and I still get emails every day. There is ZERO customer service.
  
  DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY - the SITE IS AWFUL and OUTDATED.

  I joined Elitesingles.com in January of 2023 and have been sending chat messages in addition to speaking to customer service on one day. Have not been able to reach anyone in a few weeks to change my profile. I am 6 feet tall and someone put incorrect information about my height and it has me a 5 foot 9. It also has my name spelled as "Lyn" instead of Lynne. There is a help page and I have sent my message several times, Spoke to one person, a few week ago and this person told me that my information would be changed quickly. There are men at 5 foot 9 or close to it who think that I am that height. They may not want to date a 6 foot tall woman. They are sending me smiles and messages and this isn't fair to any of us. One phone number has a recording that says are experiencing something and will be available when they resolve something. Another number, which as a 646 area code, rings with a fax noise. There is no one responding and I am paying for this service. If you have a way of contacting them, please do that.

  Most fraudulent dating site ever .
  Despite having NOT visited this site in over three years, I continue to get fraudulent credit card charges.

  It is clear that this company populates their app with fake profiles. They’re not even smart enough to try to hide it. Periodically one receives likes from “people“ who are not accessible, who don’t really reply, and it’s all done to provide the carrot to keep people interested, but after a while, it’s insulting and very clear. Yes, there are people on the app that are legitimate but the activity of these fake robot profiles makes the app a waste of money and time. Some of the profiles have pictures of young men of color and yet the profile indicates that the person is Caucasian. Some profiles say somebody is in their mid-50s but clearly it’s a 20 year old. Stealing from people is a crime. Lying to customers to through fake profiles is a crime because the whole value of a dating app is it’s database of potential dates/mates. This company and others like it should be investigated as fraudulent and criminal. If I could give it, no stars I would have.

  DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS DATING SITE! Customer Service is horrible. They take your money and when you want to cancel they do not let you and still charge your original method of payment. It has been days and they have ignored my emails to customer service. I hope they do not reply to this and tell me to reach out to customer service.... I did that and no response.
  They took payment from me last week through July! They will not let me cancel. Please do not sign up with this company.

  I paid: I couldn't get in: I cancelled.
  jdate continues to show my photo when I am not even there. and sends me notifications hoping I will repay. I emailed. I've sent a letter. They ignore me. I had a good photo and it's their come-on.
