Amazingly deceptive, the tickets were among the most expensive available, and I paid almost double the official price. I thought I was using the official website for the New York Ballet.

Very deceptive so called company. Scam customers. Was significantly overcharged. When I purchased the tickets it was for better seating, ended up with general admission seats that were $15 dollars and I paid $400! Ticket Center should be shut down permanently.

DO NOT BUY FROM TICKET-CENTER.COM. THEY ARE A HUGE SCAM AND YOU WILL REGRET IT. THEIR SITE SHOULD BE TAKEN DOWN. I was misled!!!!! I would rate them a negative 10 if negative numbers were allowed. Earlier today I was on Walt Disney Theater (WDT) site to view available seating, before I considered buying tickets to see a concert. Once there I hit their ticket button and searched for seats that my husband who is disabled with bad back problems could handle walking to. He isn't in a wheel chair, but does need assistance to walk stairs, etc. They did have disability seating and a few seats near them in the Mezzaine section which were good for him. Then tonight when I went to go buy the tickets, I searched Google for WDT again and Ticket-Center.com come up first link, so I thought they were WDT primary ticket seller and I proceeded to the next step and search for seats. When I got to the page that shows how many seats are left, they had red text flashing that the show was almost all sold out. I only saw 2 seats in the balcany section row M, last row other than some expensive options in the orchastra, so I bought the balcany seats. Then I searched for WDT again to find out about disability parking and found through their ticket button there were plenty of seats available in the Mezzanine and other sections. So I went back to Ticket-Center.com and I tried 5 different chats to get a full refund and was refused by all of them stating their sales are final and they can't refund them once confirmed. My bank originally blocked the sell the first time which TicketCenter.com said to renenter my CC so I did. That should have been my red flag. Also the last CSR I spoke with on the phone had the nerve to tell me "we all have rules and policies to follow and I should have read theirs before buying them" WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER. I am filing with the FTC, BBB, Google Review, Shopify, and everwhere else to get the word out. THEY ARE AWFUL!

Amazingly deceptive. An artist I liked sent me an email invite (I am on their mailing list and have gotten concert updates for years) for his final touring concert as he was turning 80 and retiring. I clicked on the site attached to the email announcing the schedule with all the graphics of the concert site and ticket setups. I thought the prices much higher than usual, but assuming it his last tour, they were jacked up. I received several strange email confirmations. When I went to check the emails the day before the concert for instructions, all three emails had vanished. I called the concert hall and was lucky to have spoken with the owner. He checked for my tickets. My name was there but with the wrong home address, phone number and email. He said I was paying three times the value of the tickets and he still had tickets in this same section for sale. He said not only does this company overcharge consumers, but when they acquire tickets from him to be left at the 'will call" window on a credit card, after the concert they then contest the purchase and generally win, so he too ends up getting stiffed. I called my cc company and filed a fraud complaint. They reinstated my purchase amount initially but then I learned just today the company fought my fraud claim and because they are considered a legal entity and provided their own verification that they followed whatever legal protocol required, my cc company reinstated the charge. I am 72 years old and feel fully duped by this company. I don't understand how they can remain in business. I would say finally, that I always received my ticket confirmation with a ticket number and QR scanning code. I like to actually print up the tickets. In this instance I was told I would be in aisle L (no seat numbers) and could pick up my tickets at the theater. This was a full week after I purchased them. I was always under the impression the tickets had to be dleivered within 24 hours of the purchase.

On September 23, 2025, I purchased two general admission tickets to the Corey Fest concert (a fundraising event) at the House of Blues in Boston through Tickets Center. I accessed Tickets Center through a link from the venue’s site and believed I was buying directly from the venue, not a third-party reseller. When searching for tickets, the site prominently displayed a price of $219 in red, which I reasonably believed to be the total cost for two tickets. Only after completing the purchase did, I realize the $219 was per ticket, for a total of $438, which is more than 50% higher than the current market value for the same tickets (approximately $75–$118 per ticket on primary seller sites such as Ticketmaster). There are plenty of tickets avail in GA, so the value is not aligned with the marketplace. Within minutes of purchase—and before the credit card charge fully processed—I contacted Tickets Center to request a cancellation. The company refused to cancel or issue a full refund, citing their “all sales are final” policy. They eventually issued a partial refund of $92, leaving me with a total charge of $348, which is still significantly above market value, $111 more than market value - This is a fundraising event in which the profit doesn't even go to the cause!. Their refusal to fully cancel - even before the charge has settled - feels unfair and predatory. The partial refund does not address misleading pricing or excessive markup. I requested a full refund, or, at minimum, they should have offered an adjustment to reflect the actual market value of approximately $75–$118 per ticket. I also urge Tickets Center to improve their practices by: Clearly disclosing when prices are per ticket, allowing refunds/cancellations within 24hrs when the event is 14+ days away, implementing pricing safeguards to prevent excessive markups. This policy change would better protect consumers from similar misleading and unfair experiences.

Dear Ticket-center--you absolutely sunk! You are not a reputable business, have no good customer service, and scam money from people who are honest. I ordered 2 concert tickets back in March and paid you $286.95. Event was Sept.21 tickets not received timely therefore I purchased 2 at box office. Dispute like many others against you is filed. I suggest no others do business with you as they will lose.

I thought I was on the Met Opera site but somehow this company inserted themselves and I ended up buying from them instead, inadvertently. I overpaid vs what was on the actual website by over $300 a ticket. I wanted to sell them but no other ticket sites would take them. So I lost $800 as won’t travel to NY on the HOPE that my tickets will materialize as they will only supposedly get my tickets to me 24 hours before the show. So I didn’t buy actual tickets. I bought their plan to MAYBE or maybe not find me tickets. I never had seats. Only a section. I was fully scammed.

Purchased a ticket for a certain date. They transferred the ticket to Ticketmaster on a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT DATE. TicketMaster says it’s Tickets Center responsibility. Both refuse to refund me or make the ticket for the correct date.
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! CROOKS!! Oh and BTW, the ticket cost me 3 times what they are going for on the venue website. Lesson learned the hard way.

I purchased tickets and they said they will release the tickets on or before the concert, the concert has been sold out for months and I don't yet have the tickets. I live 4 hours away from the venue and I can't just drop everything and go to the venue if they send the tickets late. When I asked for a refund or my tickets they said I could just resell the tickets, but I don't want to resell tickets that I don't have or think I'll be able to get. It's a terrible business and the fact that it's the first result when searching is ridiculous.
