I bought two price gouged tickets from Tickets-Center.com on 12-1-2022 for Halestorm on March 3rd 2023 at the Florida Strawberry Festival. I bought tickets under the impression that they were not a third party seller as they were the first official link on google. Two tickets for this concert through tickets-center costed $314.95. After I purchased these tickets a realized that Tickets-Center was a third party seller and they were dramatically increasing ticket prices. The price of one ticket on the official Strawberry Festival website was $45.00 + tax. The price for ONE ticket was $149 + tax. Not only is that a 30.2% price increase, I also, never received the tickets to and when I tried contacting their customer service line they disconnected the call repeatedly. The first three picture are confirmation of the sale from the official ticket handler that the Strawberry Festival uses showing that I paid $45.00 + tax per ticket for four tickets in three seperate orders. The final picture is a picture of the charge that tickets-center.com charged to my parents credit card.Business Response

Thank you for reaching out to us. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customer’s concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Our customer has stated that they believed they were purchasing through the website for the venue or of the event itself. However, it should be noted that our web address and website branding are intentionally different from those of any other site. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value."
When placing their order our customer was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to our terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown was provided. Directly below the “Place Order” button our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $314.95 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.
In this case the customer's order was fulfilled on 12/11/2022 at which point a ticket delivery email was sent to the email address entered by the customer at the time of purchase. Please note that the email address provided by the customer on this claim does not match the email they provided for their order. It is apparent that a typographical error entered by our customer is what lead to them not previously receiving their tickets. We would like to note that in addition to this current claim our customer filed a dispute with their financial institution regarding this transaction. We have addressed this, and the dispute was ultimately ruled in our favor. As such, the typographical error in the customer's email has been updated and their order summary and ticket delivery email have been resent. As it stands the customer's order does not qualify for cancellation or compensation under the agreed upon terms. If our customer has further concerns related to their order we recommend they contact the customer care team for assistance.

-Scammed by Tickets-Center.com for tickets for $415.50.
-I purchased the tickets on December 3rd 2022, and when attempting to use them on December 11th, I received a notice via TicketMaster that the seller had cancelled the transfer to my name.
-When I clicked on the link I was sent via Tickets-Center.com via the sellers of the tickets, TicketMaster simply displayed the attached image stating the seller had cancelled the transfer to my name.
-I attempted to call the customer help line that evening and was put on hold/no person picked up.
-I had attendants at the ticket office of the venue verify that there were no tickets in the app.
-I sent an email to customer service that evening along with screenshot proof that I did not receive the tickets.
-The next day I received confirmation that Tickets-Center.com was "looking into" the matter.
-A month later, I called again and was refused a refund.
-I was not transferred to anyone other than the customer service agent that took the call, and was told the seller transferred tickets so they would not refund my purchase.
-As noted above, I have proof that the ticket transfer to my name was cancelled by the seller.

During the checkout process, customers are able to view the delivery format for their tickets. The selection our customer made was electronic transfer, where sellers transfer the tickets using the platform that the venue has issued tickets through. The customer received an email with instructions on how to access their tickets, as well as a separate email which contains a link to claim their tickets on 12/2/22. Please note that our customer made us aware that they had issues accessing their tickets until after the event. As we were unable to assist our customer after their event we looked int this matter with the seller, however the seller provided documentation that showed the tickets were sent to our customer’s email address and the transfer was not accepted.
Aside from this claim, our customer has filed a financial dispute, which was closed in our favor. At this time, we have thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer. As such, we consider this matter resolved.

Bought 2 baseball tickets on ticketscenter.com (which looks very similar to Ticket Master) for Cactus Spring training in Arizona. Purchased tickets & soon realized that I was charged 2-3x the price of regular tickets being sold by all other retailers. Do a quick Google search & you see that this company is a HUGE SCAMMER - they make themselves look like Ticketmaster, they pay to have Google have them as the top search field, & all their communications back are scripted (both on phone & over the web). They refused to provide a refund(suggest I resell the tickets - which I get 1 day before the event & who is going to pay triple the price from a tourist). I even called my Visa to have them refund the charge - I will keep trying that way. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANYBusiness Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Though I did have to fight tooth and nail against Tickets Centre and warn anyone from using this site in which they are scamming hard working people out of their money. I did get an email from the company stating my money was refund. I also filed a fraud complaint with my Visa card and it seems between the two of them the matter has been settled.

Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for Shen Yun Performing Arts, there they were able to see the tickets available, the Delivery Method and Expected Delivery Date (EAD). Once our customer selects the tickets they prefer, they were presented with the Delivery Method and directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $467.50 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Then, our customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.
Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer to address all of their concerns. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. I purchased tickets on this website for an event that will occur on March 18, 2022. NOWHERE, before I ordered tickets, did it say I wouldn't receive the tickets until TWO DAYS before the event. Of course, I call and can barely understand the man with the accent on the phone. Says all tickets are final and I can't get a refund nor can I receive the tickets any sooner than March 16. These are a birthday gift for a friend and his birthday is in two weeks. Now I am left without a gift to give him. This is fraudulent and should not be a binding legal transaction and should be reversed immediately. None of this was disclosed prior to the order being placed and I was mislead, lied to, and taken advantage of. I WILL take this matter to the Superior Court if need be. I am willing to go all the way. This place is legit a total scam and they should be put out of business IMMEDIATELY. Has anyone else read the reviews of this horrid company? I should have NEVER ordered from them in the first place. It was misleading how I was taken to buy tickets from a Google search. These people need to be shut down IMMEDIATELY.Business Response

The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value”.
When placing their order the customer was able to see the tickets available, the delivery method and expected delivery date. Once our customer selected the tickets they preferred, the first step of the checkout process again presented the delivery method and directed the customer to input their email address. Please note that during the entire checkout process customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details and ticket listing details, including the delivery method, on the right-hand side of the screen. Due to the nature of the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center does own or generate any tickets and therefore does not set or control delivery date or ticket listing price. Rather, the estimated delivery date is set by the individual seller of the tickets and is dependent upon the primary issuer of the tickets, with which Tickets-Center has no affiliation. Please note, all purchases made on our website are covered by our 100% Buyer Guarantee, which ensures that tickets are authentic and will arrive before the event. As all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to the customer completing their order we consider this matter closed. If the customer has any additional concerns pertaining to their order, we encourage them to contact out customer service department.

I called their customer service today just to ensure they are not a scam, as there are hundreds of complaints on the Better Business Bureau and other consumer sites. I wish I had seen this prior to giving them nearly $1200. Customer service assured me this company is legit, so I proceeded. When I attempted to download my tickets, their site sent me to Ticket Master, where I learned I had paid nearly triple for going price for these tickets. This company is no better than an online scalper. I will be calling my bank and claiming fraud... This company was not open and honest about their unscrupulous overpricing and additional fees ...Business Response

On October 22, 2022, I began a process to obtain tickets for the Chicago Symphony and the transaction was
completed by October 23, 2022, Order #48266260. I had no idea that this site wasn't the actual Chicago
Symphony but a third party site. When it became clear to me on October 23, 2022 that these tickets weren't
being purchased from the symphony directly, I emailed to cancel the order. Unfortunately, there was no way
to call them or leave a message, I initiated a chat with them, but was cut off the chat. I tried to explain that
I wanted to cancel the order and gave them the exact order number but they wouldn't accept the order number.I
even checked the number several times to make sure that it was correct, but they denied it and shut down the
chat. I emailed them but they wouldn't accept that. So, there was no way that I could communicate with them to get further information. I also didn't confirm the order and yet they confirmed the order.
Plus, the site was deceptive in that they made it appear as if there were few tickets left for the concert on December 8, 20222, yet the symphony told me that wasn't true. But, their prompting that there were few
tickets left-pressured me to act in haste.
But, no way, to communicate-I want to emphasize to relate the cancellation. I was in tears and don't feel
it is at all fair for me to have to pay this charge. This charge should be rescinded.Business Response

Description of Issue:
As a holiday gift for a loved one, I purchased tickets to a ballet show on "tickets-center.com". I originally thought this was a legitimate resaler. After I purchased these tickets, I began to read the scary reviews of this company on the BBB. I tried to reach out to Tickets-Center to verify the legitimacy of my tickets. They were impossible to get a hold of (phone, live chat, email - you name it). As a last resort, I reached out directly to the venue, which eventually told me my tickets were fraudulent! Tickets-Center should be avoided at all costs. As an attorney, I have seen a lot of bad business practices and this tops the list. I will also be submitting a claim with the Federal Trade Commission for deceptive and dishonest business practices. Shame on this business!Business Response

When considering complaint information, please take into account the company's size and volume of transactions, and understand that the nature of complaints and a firm's responses to them are often more important than the number of complaints.
BBB Business Profiles generally cover a three-year reporting period, except for customer reviews. Customer reviews posted prior to July 5, 2024, will no longer be published when they reach three years from their submission date. Customer reviews posted on/after July 5, 2024, will be published indefinitely unless otherwise voluntarily retracted by the user who submitted the content, or BBB no longer believes the review is authentic.
