Their website stated that they only had a couple tickets left and that you would to hurry to get a ticket. Upon purchasing, they display information that they dont even have the tickets and that over the next 4 months they will secure it for you. This is false advertising, they trick you on the site that they have tickets and that they are running out and then after you purchase they dont even have the tickets in the first place.Business Response

Due to the nature of the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center does own or generate any tickets and therefore does not set or control delivery date or ticket listing price. Rather, the estimated ship date is set by the individual seller of the tickets and is dependent upon the primary issuer of the tickets, with which Tickets-Center has no affiliation. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.
Please note, all purchases made on our website are covered by our buyer guarantee, which ensures that tickets are authentic and will arrive before the scheduled event. We would like to note that all order details including the expected ship date were displayed prior to the customer completing their order. Furthermore, in addition to this current claim, our customer has filed a dispute with their financial institution regarding this transaction. Due to the nature of the dispute process, we are unable to further address this matter while this dispute remains open. We encourage our customer to contact their financial institution with any questions regarding its process or outcome. As it currently stands, we consider this matter closed.

I heard one of my favorite bands was playing in my town and I did a Google search to find tickets.
The search brought me to Ticket-Center.com where
I purchased two tickets for the following:
Ticket Subtotal: $202.00 ($101.00 each)
Delivery Fee: $6.95
Sales Tax: $0.00
Service Fee: $58.00
Order Total: $266.95
As an autistic person its a really big deal for me to go to an event. I have sensory challenges and I really have to push myself to do things outside my comfort zone and I usually take one to two days to recover after such events. I have to get there very early and find a spot that allows me space which is very difficult at general admission shows. I cannot accurately verbalize how challenging it is for neurodivergent people in these situations. But the reason I/we go is that when we find something to connect to it is life altering to be able to open ourselves up and experience connection and for me music is that catalyst.
Just today my friend told me she got her tickets for $25 and I was perplexed and contacted the event promoter who verified that the tickets were and have been $25 each. I emailed Ticket-Center and they gave me a bucket response that said I agreed to their terms so I had no recourse. I then went on The Better Business Bureau website and this company has had 4808 complaints in the last 3 years!
I see things in black and white and I am told I don’t understand the nuances of the world. Well this may be true but it seems like myself and 4808 other people have been victimized because we don’t understand unethical business practices. I personally am glad I don’t see the world where people can unjustly gouge prices and take advantage of people, were moral compasses are broken.
I know this complaint will receive the same bucket response all the other complaints have gotten. This company while lacking morals, is working legally and we trusting people agreed to your terms.Business Response

Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Then, our customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I purchased tickets on this website believing it to be tickets directly from the venue. Upon purchasing I realized that the price I paid was 3-4x more expensive than if I went directly to the venue itself. The mobile website is unclear that this is for secondary purchases and is designed to trick consumers. I contacted the website within 30 minutes of making the purchase to explain that I wanted to cancel the order as I was tricked and confused about the type of ticket I was buying,. They refused to cancel the order and told me I should re-sell the tickets.Business Response

I purchased 3 concert tickets on 6/24/22 in amount of $382.50, order #44877860. I called multiple times to tickets center spent hours on the phone, was promised my tickets would be accessible by the time of the concert and I never received them. All I was told was the seller in MD had to release them. I guess he is a good scam artist and this business is a good front for scammers because I was totally ripped off. I am disputing this on my credit card and I will say every bad possible thing about tickets center. com that I possibly can. They should not be allowed to be in operation. I would be put on hold and I am sure they sat there and laughed and came back with the same lame response each time. In this case the customer's tickets were initially delivered on 6/27/2022 when a ticket transfer email was sent to the email address entered at the time of purchase. In December of 2022 our customer contacted customer service to report an issue locating their transferred tickets. At that point our customer service team worked with the ticket seller to ensure the tickets were transferred to the customer in order to assist them. As of 12/6/2022 the tickets were sent to the customer for a second time and valid proof was obtained which confirmed the correct tickets were transferred to the email address provided by the customer. As such, ticket delivery for the customer's order was completed.
As it presently stands the customer's order does not qualify for compensation. Prior to receiving this claim we have been in contact with our customer to address their concerns related to this matter. If our customer has any additional concerns related to their order we encourage them to contact our customer service department. At this time we consider this matter closed.

I was searching for tickets for an upcoming event at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama. I thought I was on Ticketmaster but it turned out to be Tickets-Center.com doing business as Ticket Fulfillment Services LLP which is a 3rd party service which does not fulfill the tickets. The tickets were marked up 4 times the cost of 1 ticket on Ticket Master. As soon as I realized that this was not Ticket Master, I immediately contacted them and requested a refund. They have refused to provide a refund. And, they have not provided the tickets since they have to obtain them from a 3rd party. In my opinion, this company should be banned by PayPal. In addition to filing a complaint with PayPal, I will also be filing a complaint with the Alabama Attorney General's Office.Business Response

My paypal account was used to purchase 715 worth of tickets fraudulently. I have attempted to resolve the issue with the Tickets Center customer service and was denied, I attempted to contacted Paypal to reverse this transaction and they are not helpful. I have received an email saying I could access the purchased concert tickets but the order number and email address the email was sent to are "invalid". this is a scam site stealing money and information. Once an order is placed on our site it is reviewed for potential fraudulent activity. Orders are only confirmed if no evidence of fraud is found. In this case the customer reported that they did not place the order in question. However, all identity information provided on the order corresponds with customer's information. As such no evidence of fraudulent activity was detected in this case. On 1/16/2023 our customer' order was fulfilled when tickets were transferred electronically to the email address associated with the order, which is the same email address the customer provided on this claim. The web site was advertising as TPAC. This was the first site in my search. They portrayed their site as if they were the TPAC site, even including the seating chart. When I realized the mistake, I tried to cancel. The representative was unwilling to resolve the issue, so I asked for a supervisor. The supervisor was extremely rude and unhelpful. He stated that there was no way to cancel or no way for a refund. He recommended another website to resale the tickets. We reached out to out credit card company, who did recognize this site as a “problem site”. They were unable to resolve the issue also and recommended reaching out to the BBB. I have not confirmed nor received the tickets I have been charged for.Business Response

It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value.”
Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for Les Miserables, there they were able to see the tickets available, the Delivery Method and Expected Delivery Date (EAD). Once our customer selects the tickets they prefer, they were presented with the Delivery Method and directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $2,413.28 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Then, our customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown is reiterated. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $2,413.28 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.
Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.
In addition to this current claim, our customer filed a dispute with their credit card company regarding this order. We have addressed this, and the dispute was ultimately ruled in our favor. If our customer has any further questions regarding this dispute, we encourage them to reach out to the financial institution with which it was filed. At this time, we consider this matter closed.

Tickets were purchased before realizing this company was not who we thought they were. We thought we were buying tickets at out local seller but was tricked by the website. We did not find it clearly stated as a second hand sale. If you search the venue this site comes up making you think you have the correct purchasing place. The transaction was very misleading. Any search online about this company will prove we are not the first to be scammed out of our money. This is intentional false advertising and preys upon buyers who do not understand the website. We are deeply concerned with how many people are being gouged by this company.

Prices may be above face value" is located at the top of the home page, every event page, and each page of the ticket selection process. Customers are additionally required to select a check box before completing their purchase which reads in part "I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final." Customers must also indicate that they have read the terms and conditions to be allowed to complete their purchase. Our status as a secondary marketplace is further outlined in those terms in case all previous disclaimers had been overlooked. Tickets-Center takes every reasonable measure to ensure that customers are making informed decisions about their purchase, and we feel that we have done our due diligence in this matter. If Mr. ******* has additional questions regarding his order, we welcome him to contact our customer care team directly. At this time we consider this matter closed.
