Never ordered tickets from this site and received a text message about ticket transfer??Business Response
Date: 03/22/2023
Thank you for reaching out to us. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customer’s concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value.”
On 10/6/2022 the customer placed an order for REO Speedwagon on 3/15/2023. Please note our verification department has reviewed our customer’s information and did not find any evidence of fraudulent activity related to their purchase. This appears to be a valid order, meaning all billing information links to the personal information provided by our customer at checkout; thus, we must abide by our “All Sales Are Final” policy. We maintain our customer is the sole owner of the tickets that were purchased and sent to their email address. If our customer believes they are a victim of payment fraud, we encourage them to contact their financial institution, or if our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order we welcome them to contact customer service.

This company is engaging in unfair and potentially deceptive practices. I was sent a direct link to purchase tickets, and thought I was buying from a legitimate official seller. Tickets were over double face value, and the process to redeem these (from a reseller) is very sketchy. I tried once to transfer the tickets and was shown an error message, I believe this is all fraudulent and don’t want these tickets from this reseller and requested a refund, which they refused. I contested the charge through my credit card company, but am also contesting it here. The only resolution I will accept is a full refund. Please be warned, do not purchase anything from this company.Business Response

Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for Peter Gabriel, there they were able to see the tickets available, the Delivery Method and Expected Delivery Date (EAD). Once our customer selects the tickets they prefer, they were presented with the Delivery Method and directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $699.50 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Then, our customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown is reiterated. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $699.50 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.
Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.
Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer to address all of their concerns. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my issue. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I was charged in full but I do not have possession of the tickets. I am not convinced they are valid tickets even if I am able to gain possession, and the concert is many months away. I again request a full refund to resolve this matter.

Thank you for responding. We appreciate the opportunity to further address our customer's concerns. An electronic transfer email containing the link to the tickets was sent to Mr. Lackowski on March 8th, 2023, shortly after the order was placed. In addition to this current claim, our customer filed a dispute with their credit card company regarding this order. We have addressed this, and the dispute was ultimately ruled in our favor. If our customer has any further questions regarding this dispute, we encourage them to reach out to the financial institution with which it was filed. If our customer is still experiencing difficulty accessing their tickets, we ask that they contact customer support. At this time, we consider this matter closed.

I purchased tickets for Trevor Noah at the Hippodrome on 3/10/23 as a birthday gift for my husband birthday which is 3/13. I paid $577.00 believing they were thru Ticket master but was routed to Ticket center. On 2/21 less than 3 weeks away I received an email that the event was rescheduled to January 12, 2024! An entire year later I called ticket center on 2/21 was was told I could not get a refund and was told to resell my tickets. The email with the link that showed the date for 2024, had $84.60 as the face value on the tickets. I called ticket center again and asked how could I get the price of my tickets with the face value so low and I paid almost 7 x that amount the rescheduled tickets aren’t viewable for resell because it’s too early. This is predatory and price gorging to to mention unethical business practice. Ticket center should not be allowed to keep funds if an event is rescheduled and/or cancelled for products and services not rendered. I can’t afford to get my husband another gift for a special birthday.Business Response

Our customer has stated that they believed they were purchasing through the website for the venue or of the event itself. However, it should be noted that our web address and website branding are intentionally different from those of any other site. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value."
When placing their order our customer was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to our terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars." Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All tickets listed on our site are owned and priced by individual sellers based on those sellers' assessments of changing factors such as customer demand. This means the price is not based on the tickets' original price, or face value, and may be higher or lower than that original amount. As noted above, the customer placed their order fully aware that they were purchasing resale tickets and that the price paid may not be reflective of the price printed on their tickets. Furthermore, with regard to the customer's event date, it is also outlined in the agreed upon terms that, “If an event is postponed or rescheduled, and the original tickets are valid for entry at the time of the rescheduled event, your order will not qualify for a refund or other compensation.”
Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. We maintain that all relevant terms were sufficiently displayed prior to the customer placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.

Tickets-Center is a SCAM. I had intended to purchase tickets to a high school athletic event through TicketMaster. When I found the right tickets, I clicked the purchase button. Then I was somehow redirected to the Tickets-Center website. The site looks enough like Ticket Master that I didn't notice the deception. The tickets turned out costing about $100 more than they were shown on Ticket Master.
I called Tickets-Center to get a refund but was told I could not receive one since they have an agreement with the seller. I told Emmanuel the representative that I was intentionally redirected from TicketMaster to Tickets-Center and deceived by them. He did not provide any assistance for me to reach out to the seller. He also would not connect me with his supervisor. Emmanuel also told me I should "SEE THIS AS AN EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE."
I'm not sure how I was redirected to the Tickets-Center website as I have never done any business with them before.Business Response

Date of transaction: January 16, 2023
Paid: $601.50
Order# 50233782
For: 3 Goo Goo Dolls concert tickets on September 7, 2023 at Yaamava Hotel, California, Section 302, Row H
Dispute Nature: After I paid, they confirmed and emailed me that they will send the tickets on Sept. 5, 2023. When they were selling the tickets they only provided the Section and the Row, NO seat numbers. They are not giving me a refund because they keep saying they have a no cancellation policy, which is invalid, where is the sale here when there were no tickets recieved. They said that the seller confirmed they will be available on Sept. 5, 2023. That’s like 8 months away! No guarantee! You are selling tickets that you don’t even have yet. So how can this sale be valid? If the tickets really exist how come they can’t send them to me right away? I called Yaamava Theater Hotel and they said that you are not their trusted ticket seller and they don’t know why your sponsored Ad is showing first in google search. Yaamava said that their only trusted ticket seller is AXS. I want a refund. Otherwise, I will call my attorney cousins and get this settled. I have been buying concert tickets for many months in advance for years, I have always recieved the tickets right away in less than 5 minutes. This is the first time I transacted with tickets-center.com. You are giving me so much stress I couldn’t sleep that I’m going to pay $601.50 for tickets that I’m not even sure I will get after 8 months? Why make us wait for 8 months to get these very expensive tickets? We want to be sure we will be able to watch Goo Goo Dolls. Don’t give us excuses, because I went and bought 3 tickets again in the same section thru AXS, and I already have the 3 tickets! AXS gave them to me right away. I should have never trusted your website. You are saying you want to prevent duplication or fraud closer to the event that’s why you will give the tickets 8 months after? How come AXS sent them over to me right away?Business Response

Due to the nature of the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center does own or generate any tickets and therefore does not set or control delivery date or ticket listing price. Rather, the estimated delivery date is set by the individual seller of the tickets and is dependent upon the primary issuer of the tickets, with which Tickets-Center has no affiliation. We would like to note that this is an estimated delivery date and the customer's ticket may be delivered sooner. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. Please note, all purchases made on our website are covered by our buyer guarantee, which ensures that tickets are authentic and will arrive before the event. The company advertise the tickets for 165 I bought two they added a service fee a delivery fee HST and then they converted everything into USD. I am paying fo tickets from Ontario for a show in Ontario a few miles over in the next town. They never showed the charges before the payment for the site. Looks like it’s just simply placing an order but instead after you add your credit card it charges additional fees plus converts From Canadian to USD. I paid double the price for two tickets. I paid $450 x 2 or $900 for a show that I could’ve got for 130, if I’d phoned the theatre and not only that they’re extremely rude on the phone and their website has absolutely no contact information so you cannot lodge a complaint with them. They’ve also managed to list themselves on Google as one of the very first options they use name and marketing colours and website that makes it look like you’re buying from Ticketmaster. They are completely fraudulent they should be out of business — definitely should not be doing business in CanadaBusiness Response

I wanted to make sure to share my feedback about ticket-center.com. I have rarely had such a negative interaction with a company and am shocked by the dishonestly. I purchased tickets for a concert and thought I was at an official site. Upon review later that evening I realized this is a re-sale vendor and between the prices and fees my tickets that would have cost me $139.56 now cost me $255.50. I immediately reached out to ticket-center to cancel this purchase and was told by three people that they do not allow any cancellations or refunds. I am shocked by the dishonesty and lack of customer services. When reaching out I then got another email from them that there would be additional services changes and the total would now be $367.51. I spoke to a representative on the phone who had to contact another team because they can't see the communication and they have stated this was an error. I have not received written confirmation yet, but am very concerned due to the general dishonesty of this company. Upon further review today I have run into countless reviews of others with negative experiences with this buisness who feel lied to and cheated as I do. This is a dishonest buisness practice. I could not find their address on the website and had to ask for it by phone to make this report. Please assist. I would like a full refund of my purchase and accountability for this company that is scamming people out of money.Business Response

Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for Jason Mraz, there they were able to see the tickets available, the Delivery Method and Expected Delivery Date (EAD). Once our customer selects the tickets they prefer, they were presented with the Delivery Method and directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $255.50 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $255.50 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.
On 8/7/2022 I purchased 8 tickets to Annie live on February 18th 2023 at the Kentucky Center Whitney Hall at 2pm.
I received an email stating I would receive an email with the tickets that would be transferred to me digitally on or before February 17th, 2023.
I did not receive this email. I called customer service on the 17th. They told me to wait till the 18th. I called back on the 18th the day of the event, at 9am. For 4 hours, I was on the phone with customer service who promised me they would take care of the issue or refund my money. They had me sign into 4 different ticketmaster/account manager sites to check for the tickets. They were not there. I was transferred multiple times, and hung up on. Ultimately as the time of the show approached, they kept telling me that the seller had already transfered the tickets and I needed to click on a link in an email from the seller to accept, but that email never came. Not in my inbox, not in spam, nothing. I have Gmail. Finally when it was clear I would never get the tickets, I asked for a refund.
They refused. They continued to lie and said they had already issued the tickets. I demanded to talk to someone who could resolve my issue and they refused. I refused to leave the call untill I had my tickets or my money back. They refused and hung up.
My sister traveled from Colorado to Kentucky with her 2 daughters to visit with me and my parents just to see this show. I had my heart ripped out when I had to tell them and the 7 others who had their hearts set on going.
This was the most terrible experience I have ever had with any business. I would have rather they just told me from the very beginning that they had stolen my money and wouldn't give it back rather than spend 4 hours on the phone with this horrible company only to be completely let down with less than an hour to go before the show my family had been anticipating for 6 months.Business Response

In this case our customer's order was fulfilled on 2/18/2023 at which time tickets were transferred electronically to the email address entered by the customer at the time of purchase. After our customer reported issues locating the transferred tickets we attempted to troubleshoot and retransfer the customer's tickets. We were able to confirm the completion of a retransfer prior to the event and detected no issues with either the original or second transfer. As such, the customer's order was considered appropriately fulfilled.
Please note that in addition to this current claim, our customer has filed a dispute with their financial institution regarding this transaction. Due to the nature of the dispute process, we are unable to provide further assistance for this matter while this dispute remains open. We encourage our customer to contact their financial institution with any questions regarding its process or outcome. As it currently stands, we consider this matter closed.
