I ordered tickets to the Black Keys Concert in Kansas City, MO for August 25, 2023. Earlier today, I go to my email for confirmation and it says it will take me to my tickets. I clicked the email confirmation and it says the tickets do not exist. Concerned, I called and I spoke to a customer service representative on 4/16/23 and they stated that they will send they will send the tickets at a later date (day before). I was not made aware that this is a third party ticket seller and their website looks legitimate. I do not feel comfortable trusting that they will "come at a later date" after I read countless reviews of the same situation. Those tickets never came for those customers. I also read on these countless reviews that the ticket price changes and your card will not be charged what it was originally. It is based on the original seller so they can max out my credit card with those charges alone! Also I noticed on the tickets, it says the row and section but does not have seat numbers. They have already taken my money and feel cheated because I do not trust that the tickets will come or that the seats they are selling actually exist. I would just rather get refunded or receive assistance from the BBB on this issue. Tickets were purchased by mistake. I immediately reached out to inquire about a refund. They stated they cannot approve a refund. I have not even received my tickets yet & am now even more concerned that the delivery date is a week AFTER the concert date. I have done further research & have found that this company is a scam. I bought tickets from tickets-center.com for a Foo Fighters show. I just found out that the venue was letting consumers know that anything purchased outside of the venue would be invalid and you would not be able to get into the show. The venue also confirmed that the show is sold out, however tickets-center.com is still selling tickets. I called the venue and they confirmed they did NOT see me in the system with an active ticket, and confirmed the tickets I had were invalid. I checked Ticketmaster and also did not see anything for the foo fighters show. I contacted tickets-center.com for a refund as they sold me invalid tickets and they refused this refund. I noted that the website states 100% buyer guarantee, however I have invalid tickets!!!Business Response

Our customer placed their order on 3/1/23 for Foo Fighters, which will take place on May , 2023. The tickets our customer selected have a shipping delivery of Electronic Transfer, which means our customer's tickets was sent to their email address and have to be displayed on their mobile phone. Per our Buyer’s Guarantee we assure our customers that they have received valid and authentic tickets prior to their event.
Due to the nature of our business in the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist, venue or box office and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.

On March 13, 2023 I attempted to purchase tickets to an event at The Tennessee Performing Arts Center. Upon googling the event and venue, the top result was a company called "Ticket-Center.com" - I assumed this was the site authorized to the event tickets. I purchased 2 at what seemed like a high price and high service charges but took at face value. Each ticket was $119 but with service fees and sales tax the total was $342.50 (order #51698429). After purchasing and receiving my confirmation, I realized this was not the legitimate venue site. My confirmation said the tickets would be "transferred" to me. This was the first time I realized this was a secondary ticket site. I immediately found the TPAC website and saw that the same tier tickets were $54 and 2 tickets came to a total charge of $129.60. There were alerts to be wary of secondary ticket sites and warnings that it was against policy to buy tickets and resell for a higher price. Not wanting to be involved in any fraud, I bought 2 legitimate tickets. I have since attempted to contact the seller and gone through American Express to dispute the charge with no luck. They have simply told me that all sales are final. However, I still do not have access to the tickets which they say will be transferred by April 26th (the event is april 27th). My conversation with the customer service representative suggested many red flags as to the nature of the business (aggressive language, delayed delivery, no transparency). I originally purchased from this site by accident, not realizing it wasn't the official vendor for the venue. Upon requesting for a refund, the company insisted all sales are final and that a refund isn't available. The company's ToS dictates that I have no recourse. After inspection of the tickets, the tickets delivered were not for the seats purchased. The purchase had been for Box seating, the delivered tickets were for floor seating, section 2, row Q; not the purchase of Box seating as originally intended. Unfortunately, my wife has non-epileptic seizures (averaging 12 a day) and we were looking for the comfort and relative privacy of the box seats specifically for her medical condition.

It should be noted that our site is completely user-driven, which means any selection made on our platform is applied solely by the customer. In this case, our customer selected tickets listed in section: Floor 2, row: Q.
This information was disclosed again in the order summary during checkout, prior to our customer confirming their purchase. At that point, our customer was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to our terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I traveled to TN Mar 9-12. I was looking for tickets to the Grand Ole Opry and contemplated two sites from which to purchase them. My partner and I ended up purchasing from another website. Meanwhile, somehow we got charged for the purchase with Tickets-Center.com, which we dispute. We did not purchase tickets (hit any "submit order" button) but the ticket purchase got processed and the tickets that got purchased were for Mar 17 when I was not going to be in TN. I did not receive the tickets and only figured out the transaction processed by looking at my credit card activity. Meanwhile the vendor CANCELED the tickets the day before the tickets were supposed to be valid for. What?? These people are refusing to be reasonable. I need a refund.Business Response

This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $647.50 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Then, our customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. On October 15, 2023, I purchased two tickets for Blues Clues & You Live for March 15 2023 at the State Theater in Minneapolis. Order #48080806 Section Main Floor 2 RowHH $189.23 including $11.73 sales tax. Received an update for my order the same day saying the tickets would be available by March 14, 2023. I then received an email to accept my ticket transfer from P Copley. Then later received an email marked Urgent: Ticket Acceptance for Blues Clues and You. A charge went through on my card for TICKETS BLUES CLUES 844-223-5661 on October 16,2022.

On January 17, 2023 this business received $183.50 from me. This purchase was for two concert tickets for June 2, 2023. After a week of not receiving my tickets I contacted the company to get my order status. This is when they tell me the seller does not have possession of my tickets and they are unsure when I will get them, although they are “promised” by June 1, 2023. When purchasing the tickets it does not state that the seller does not have possession of the tickets or that I will not receive them immediately. The have refused to refund my tickets, they have refused to give me updated order information. How is it legal to sell tickets when you do not even have them. Tickets center states they have proof that the seller has these tickets “secured” but refuse to provide me with this proof.Business Response

It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value.”
Our checkout process allows each customer several opportunities to view all details of an order, including the estimated delivery date of their tickets, prior to purchase. In our customer's case, the estimated delivery date of 6/1/2023 was provided below the breakdown of our customer's order total on the right-hand side of the checkout screen. Due to the nature of our business as a secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center does not own or generate any tickets and therefore does not set or control delivery dates. Rather, the estimated delivery date is set by the individual seller of the selected tickets and is dependent upon a number of factors, including when the tickets are released by the primary issuer, with which Tickets-Center has no affiliation. In accordance with our 100% Buyer Guarantee, our customer will be provided with their tickets in time for their event. As it stands we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.
