Thank you for reaching out to us. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customer’s concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Fast, easy and secure secondary marketplace tickets. Prices may be above or below face value.”

We would like to ensure our customer that every order placed on our site is backed by our Buyer Guarantee, which means that their tickets will be authentic, valid for entry, and delivered prior to the event. This guarantee is outlined within our terms which is available for review during the checkout process. On the final page of checkout, after our customer input their payment and billing information, they were required to select a check box signifying their agreement to our terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars." Then, directly below the “Place Order” button, our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $546.61 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.

Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.

In addition to this claim, our customer has opened a dispute with their financial institution regarding this order. As the dispute remains open at this time, we are unable to provide a resolution due to the nature of the dispute process. If our customer has questions regarding the dispute and its outcome, we recommend that they contact the institution with which it was filed.

    Regards,
    Tickets-Center

I purchased 4 tickets on 6/25/23 to the Goodman Theater. I realized the date would not work and clicked the “cancel” button on the email I received, but the button wasn’t linked to anywhere. I tried to find a contact but when I clicked around it didn’t have an option for cancelling. (Click 1 if you have a question about the time, click 2 if this, 3 if that, but nothing about cancellations.) I had other matters to tend to so didn’t have a chance to delve back into this until the morning of 6/26/23.

I reached out this morning (less than 24 hours after purchase) via email (again with the select 1, , 2, 3…) and then selected live chat to discuss the button and request a refund. It is clear they get requests for refunds frequently because they had ready-made responses about the legality of their business practice (anticipation about stop payment, legal action, etc.) and the benefits of my selling the tickets myself. “You could make a profit!” the customer service agent assured me. As for the cancel button, apparently it only works until the seller okays the purchase and then it is absolutely non refundable. This could range from minutes to days, all benefitting the seller with no protection to the buyer.

I was disappointed, but I understood the predicament of the customer service rep.

After I got off the chat, I decided to see about selling the tix and visited the Goodman Theater’s website to check ticket availability for the date. I discovered tickets at the Goodman were available for the day I purchased, but for $45. This Ticket company charged $80, nearly double the cost. So no, I won’t be selling these on my own for a profit.

My complaint : lack of time to cancel the order, cancel button not working, and the ready response for complaints, something I now suspect they have to do regularly because of the price they charge for tickets.

The company needs to have a specific timeline CLEARLY posted; not an unspecified “when the seller excepts it” practice.

6/25/23 Three tickets were purchased for an event in Nashville, Tn for myself and 2 others,
    Total $591.59.
I Immediately discovered there was a conflict in dates and event could not be attended. Within 15 minutes I replied to company I needed to cancel this order and the reason why. Charge was still pending on credit card. After talking with a rep, I was informed they could not credit my card. I also had purchased travel insurance, and will not be able to receive full amount with them. ($197.20) and not sure at this time, the insurance will even reimburse as I am awaiting a decision fro
m them. Inability to refund the full amount is unfair and unjust. I have no actual tickets in my possession.

I was looking for tickets to a show at Ryman Auditorium. I went to google and typed Ryman tickets and the website for Tickets-Center.com appeared at the top of the search. It did not say - Tickets-Center.com. It showed "Ryman Auditorium Tickets" in the description so I believed it to be the official website to buy tickets. It was not. (I have attached a picture of the misleading search results).

I ordered two tickets at a total price of $640.04.

I received a confirmation email with a link to contact them with any concerns at 12:36 pm on June 23rd. (picture included) I clicked the button to "contact immediately" and found a phone number. I called that number at 12:53 pm to cancel my purchase as I realized their website was NOT the official website for Ryman. I spoke with a customer service representative for 13 minutes to try to cancel and they refused. I also asked to speak to a manager and that was also refused.

The official Ryman website had tickets available for $139.50 for 2 tickets. (pdf shown)

I called my credit card company to dispute the charge and that dispute has been filed. I did that at 2:58 pm also on June 23rd.

I would like a refund of my purchase and would like this company and others like it to have a 24 hour time in which refunds would have to be allowed.

$360.16 spent on 2 tickets to Clint Black Concert.
Tickets were to be delivered by June 8, 2023 prior to June 9, 2023 concert.
About a week before concert, it was rescheduled due to Clint Black needing surgery. Tickets did not arrive by June 8th as expected.
I reached out to customer service on June 8. I got a response a few days after stating they had reached out to the seller and tickets were to be reissued and they would monitor the situation. If they didn’t arrive on June 8th, I do not foresee them arriving at all. I should have done better at researching this company before buying tickets. They asked for more than twice the amount of what tickets would have cost on other sites. I didn’t realize that until it was too late. I read other reviews about this company and others had not received tickets to their venue, received tickets for a completely different venue, or even different seats than what they paid for. All I want is a refund. There is no reason why my tickets shouldn’t have already been received. Do not do business with this company.

Our customer has stated that they believed they were purchasing through the website for the venue or of the event itself. However, it should be noted that our web address and website branding are intentionally different from those of any other site. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Fast, easy and secure secondary marketplace tickets. Prices may be above or below face value."

Due to the nature of the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center does own or generate any tickets and therefore does not set or control delivery date or ticket listing price. Rather, the estimated ship date is set by the individual seller of the tickets and is dependent upon the primary issuer of the tickets, with which Tickets-Center has no affiliation. Please note that all purchases made on our website are covered by our Buyer Guarantee; however, in this case, in addition to this current claim our customer filed a dispute with their financial institution regarding this transaction. We have addressed this, and the dispute was ultimately ruled in the customer's favor. If our customer has any further questions regarding this dispute, we encourage them to reach out to the financial institution with which it was filed. As it currently stands, we consider this matter closed.

Received an email stating there is a WWE PPV event coming to Pittsburgh, PA & there was a link at the bottom of the email to buy tickets. I subscribe to items directly from the WWE, so I thought this email was from them & was taking to the Ticketmaster website to purchase tickets. The tickets for the event are not even on sale until June 27, but my transaction was processed on June 17. This company is telling me all sales are final, but how can you sell me something that you don't even have in your possession? They are refusing to cancel the transaction. The entire process is deceptive. The entire charge of $580 appeared on 6/17/23 on my credit card as pending, but on 6/19/23 when I look at my account, the only charges showing are a $1 charge & $1 credit from this company. The $580 is no longer displayed anywhere, but it shows my credit card balance is $580. My credit card company was also baffled by this. They are unable to initiate a dispute until the charge posts to my account. The credit card representative said "I don't quite understand how I can't see the charge, but it's there".

Thank you for reaching out to us. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customers’ concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Independent resale tickets, prices may be above face value.”

Tickets-Center does not own or generate tickets; rather, all tickets listed in our marketplace are managed and owned, by professional ticket resellers and pre-screened individual sellers who have already purchased those tickets. Tickets-Centers’ marketplace allows these sellers to resell their tickets in a secure, controlled e-commerce environment. Many of our professional resellers own season tickets for various teams or venues, or have direct business partnerships with teams, venues, and promoters. As a result, they are able to provide premium tickets or passes to sold-out events.

Our customer will received valid tickets for their event on 6/23/23. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.

    Regards,
    Tickets-Center

On 2/12/2023 I purchased 2 tickets to a Kenny Loggins concert that was to take place 6/17/2023 in Williamsburg, VA. I paid $639.95 for the tickets. I received instructions to pick up my tickets at Will Call. When I went to get my tickets, there was NOTHING. I am VERY angry. I want an apology and my money back.

Because our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must enforce an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. Our sales policies, including our “all sales are final” policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase process—from a notice on every ticket page to a sales terms statement displayed at checkout with the message “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).”

Please note that prior to receiving this claim, our customer had not informed us that they had an issue at their event. In order to investigate further we attempted to contact our customer to understand the matter, but we were unsuccessful. We encourage our customer to contact us to open an investigation as we take this matter seriously.

    Regards,
    Tickets-Center

Thank you for reaching out to us. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customer’s concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value”.

Tickets-Center facilitates thousands of successful ticket transfers each day with satisfied customers, so we are confident of the efficacy of our processes. During the checkout process, customers are able to view the delivery format for their tickets. The selection our customer made was electronic transfer, where sellers transfer the tickets using the platform that the venue has issued tickets through. Customers receive an email with instructions on how to access their tickets, as well as a separate email which contains a link to claim their tickets, advising them to do so.

On 6/3/2023 we spoke with Mr. ***** and attempted to troubleshoot. Our records indicate that the original ticket transfer took place on 6/2/2023 at 4:17 PM CST and we detect no issues with the original transfer. As such, we maintain our customer’s order was successfully fulfilled and aligns with our Buyer’s Guarantee.

Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.

Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer to address all of their concerns. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.
