AARP canceled my auto insurance without proper notification or just cause.

Thank you for contacting AARP through the Better Business Bureau comment section. We have received your complaint and are sorry to hear about your experience. In an attempt to assist, I have reached out to an Escalations Team we work with at The Hartford for additional insight and handling into your concerns. Once I have heard back from them, I will also be following up with you. Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention.

I think AARP is not the best tool for seniors. My experience involved very serious need for AARP to connect with me as a member. I did not receive expected attention to my request in three different matters. Thank you. Geneva from New York.

Discontinued My Life Insurance Policy With AARP to go to a better Insurance Company And this Company has the nerve to keep my 17 months of payments to them. Im receiving a check for $34.00 and some change. Beware of this company they are ripping lots of their previous customers off for cancelling their Life Insurance Policies. What they Stole from me is More than 10 Percent.

Absentee landlord that does very little. Almost every "deal" they get you is found elsewhere and coupons are at the unhealthiest big box restaurant chains. Even the games they offer for free are that fraud Arkadium that fixes most games to lose so you have to see their ads for their revenue. I literally have no use for AARP and will not be renewing.

      Dear Mr. I*******
Thank you for your years as an active AARP member. We are sorry to hear that some of the games and discounts you've explored were not to your liking. We continue to grow our benefits landscape and all current AARP member benefits can be reviewed at: www.aarp.org/benefits. Additionally, members benefit from our bi-monthly AARP The Magazine and monthly AARP Bulletin publications, as well as our advocacy targeted for those 50-plus in Congress and state capitals throughout the U.S. and U.S. territories. We hope you will consider these important aspects of AARP membership upon your renewal. We thank you for your comments.

I've had some good luck with AARP . I dodged the flyers for years until my Optometrist told me I could save $190.00 on my glasses if I had AARP. So needless to say I joined.
Now two things disappointed me one is the products they suggest. I purchased two s.art watches they endorsed and said all Seniors could benefit from. I bought two, they were junk I should have checked other reviews first. I'm so disappointed in AARP. The other thing is all these other terrible Terrible reviews ??

I am a veteran and was in search of a good program for my wife and I. Part of what drew us to AARP was the life insurance offer. My application was denied, after which I completed the appeal process as instructed. I was told that I would then receive a letter with the specific reason for my second denial. The letter was a copy of the first in that there were no specific reasons given as to what medicine kept me from being approved. I am a type 2 diabetic, and I responsibly take my meds to maintain my condition. I see no reason for denial and do not appreciate your lack of courtesy in handling my case.

I joined their online Community Board on 11/14/22. Every day I was "bullied" and reporting them to AARP Moderators did zero. As of yesterday 6/16/23, I want my Online Profile "deleted" = username, email address and phone number "removed" from their database. Thank goodness I did not supply my address or bought a membership. The "horror" stories I read "online" are awful. I feel so sorry for these folks who trusted AARP. Bottom line, they DO NOT care about us and time for them to be accountable. I am told my ONLINE information stays on their COMMUNITY BOARD forever = cannot be deleted. Hmmm, sorry, unacceptable. I want MINE deleted. Thank you!
