      Do not do business with this company. They do not follow through with anything. The "buyout " they were supposed to do went to collections because they "dropped the ball " . Absolutely surprising they are in business. After 7 months of back and forth were out 400 dollars had to switch security again and fighting collections.

      I called in February to to see when I can cancel my service. Safe home told me that I could cancel in September is when my agreement was up. The representative tried so hard to get me to sign another contract for another year and I told them no and she kept on saying well we can give you one month free we can change batteries for you we could come out and check with everything we could work right and I said no I want to cancel it in September. So in August I called to see when I can cancel in September my contract they told me on the phone that they signed me up for another you I said what I said I want out of that contract she says well you can't we always signed you up for another you. Then one of the representatives told me that I had to email to this cancellation write a letter to cancel but good luck. I told her give me a right written address too so I can send the letter that way too. so I emailed them back in August 8th I the email came back and says a representative will be getting back to you did not hear nothing from them. So I wrote a certified letter to them almost 2 weeks ago and told them I want to cancel and to stop payment of my automatic payment withdrawal. And please respond within five business days like I said it's been 2 weeks have not heard a word from nobody.

      I wish I did not have 2 leave a star at all! I have requested cancellation & my request have been ignored! They have threaten me & told me if I cancel they will give me a bad credit rating & report 2 my home owner insurance company that I no longer have a home security system so that I will lose my discount!
      This company does not care about customers! They only care about money! Their equipment does not work & their customer service representatives r rude & will try 2 intimidate u!
      This company is definitely not recommended!!!!!!!!!

      I had to move and Safe home wanted to charge me to reinstalled the panel and cameras, which we already did at the new home, all we needed the company to come out and sync the wifi etc. they are very rude, no professionalism what so ever. Will never ever get a contract with them, in the contract did not say that there was a $200.00 dollar fee to install the panel if we ever moved. I give this company zero stars. Run from them.

      I started service with Safe Home Security in 2019. Twice in 2 years, my alarm was triggered and the police department was never notified. When I called customer service, a woman answered quote, "WHAT DO YOU WANT?" I could hear children in the background yelling. Obviously a work from home employee. When I asked if this was Safe Home, she replied, "Oh, what can I do for you?" I told her my alarm was triggered and she said it did not show on her end and then she hung up abruptly. Then in May of 2022, we had safe home send a technician out because the key pad quit working, causing the alarm to trigger again. Police were notified that time. The technician said the motherboard was burned out and needed replaced. He called his work place, Safe Home, and told them we needed a new motherboard. He had them on speaker phone so we could hear. The person on the other end said they were NOT replacing the board and that we, the customer would have to replace it. We immediately notified Safe Home by Phone and by letter to cancel service immediately since it was no use to us having a system that didn't work. We were told by Sara and Tara on separate occasions that service had been cancelled, but we are still receiving billing twice a month since May of 2022, (3 years after service was cancelled.)
      NEWS CAST FROM MARCH 8th 2022.
      Attorney General William Tong and Consumer Protection Commissioner Michelle H. S****** announced today the filing of a $5 million stipulation judgment against Safe Home Security and its president David Roman after the Middletown-based company repeatedly failed to comply with court-ordered consumer protection measures.
      “Families turned to Safe Home Security to safeguard their homes, and the company failed them. We have heard from hundreds of angry consumers who were locked into bad contracts and left with broken and poorly installed equipment.
      I want the billings to STOP and an apology from the company. 3 yrs. is egregious

      This company has misrepresented the contract, sold defective products and then charged me for their services. After repairing a problem they changed my contract and went up on their price. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

      I have been without service for four months just two weeks ago. They called to tell me they are in my area to give me service so I took it upon myself to put in a cancellation. I was told I had to mail My cancellation letter, but when I called the next day requesting cancellation, they told me to email it and now at this present time I am waiting on them to send me a buyout letter they have been giving me the runaround for quite some time, but they have no problem getting their payment so I immediately put a stop to that. I do have a new service at which they tried to tell me it was against the law but at this point I do not give a ****. I am trying to protect my family at all costs.

      AMP SMART has been my security company for the last six years. I was contracted initially for five years, but they continued the contract past the five years without any notification. I asked to cancel , and they informed me that I couldn’t cancel the contract even though I was willing to pay the remaining balance just to cancel or terminate the contract . They are refusing to accept my offer and won’t acknowledge my request. I am now contracted to March 2026 at a cost of 90.00!per month . My contract indicates that I can terminate the contract by paying a termination fee or the balance of the contract, which I am willing to do , but they are opposed to it. I put a stop payment on the account so no more funds can be withdrawn. They probably will turn my account over to collections because they will not be able to automatically withdraw their funds. Currently, their equipment has been dismantled and is no longer operational, but I still have their equipment. I am perplexed concerning this situation. I have talked to many representatives in this company, and none of them is offering a viable solution but to keep the account in force and to pay for something you don’t want . They offer to rectify the equipment, but I do not desire to do any more business with them and want to cancel or terminate the contract.

      One should use care to use Safe Home Security. I have had a couple of issues with them, one where support tried to trick me into a long time service contract and more recently, I had a qualified vendor replace a sensor and did so because the staff from SHS does not seem to know much about newer technology. When the vendor went to test the sensor, they could not because SHS did not use the typical default code that most companies use. When I contacted and asked if they could put "my system" on default so the vendor could complete the work, they refused saying the vendor would steal the code which is impossible because no one asked for the code, it was not true.

      Good salesman ship BUT from there on its LIES; can't help you,very slow to follow on, to follow through..promises NOT kept;; None trustworthy,,,RUN,FLEE,DON'T TOUCH IT,,ITS a Lie !!
