I purchased a ****** Nest Wifi Doorbell with a Video Security Camera from Amazon using Amazon Home Services to install the DoorbelI. The Amazon Home Services technician, after installation of the Wifi doorbell, talked me into buying two two ****** Nest Thermostats through a third party called Ontech. Via telephone I paid Ontech for the thermostats and installation services for a total of $772.89. The Amazon Home Services installer left the thermostats and indicated Ontech would call me to arrange a time to install. As I never received a call, I tried calling them a number of times over a period of a few weeks with a recorded message indicating they were having technical problems.

ontech , received over $600 from me to install a wired camera and doorbell. One installation was to be free. They installed a doorbell, took them over two hours, they brought the wrong camera twice, seems like they never got the order straight. Their service lady told me that the camera was wired and battery, that never showed up. so a month later they refunded me for the camera. Still can't speak to anyone at ontech or reach them on line. I feel my free install should be the doorbell, its the only thing they did install. And by the way ontech is owned by dish. Ontech said they were hacked and that might just be that they have lost some customer information. I think if that happened we should have the option to cancel the $199.99 we paid for this nonsence.ON TECH NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED

Same situation as others, OnTech charged me for installation of Nest Doorbell and their entire system went down due to cyber breach. Installer never showed up. I emailed company, because their phone is unavailable, but now even email is unavailable. That was 2 weeks ago. This is unacceptable. A company should have better systems in place to operate after a crisis.

OnTech has $200 of my money for an advanced payment on an installation. I cannot reach them by phone or email. The phone recording says that they have a technical problem, but it's been almost a week now that I've been trying to reach them. They don't update their phone message so I don't know that's happening. Are they going out of business? What about my $200? Even if they do have a technical problem, they should update their recordings daily in order to let customers know what's happening. I just don't understand a business that says that they're great, would treat their customers like dirt.

We had a thermostat installation scheduled for Tuesday Feb 28 before our tenants moved in on March 1. Apparently OnTech was having a systemwide outage and their entire communication system was down. We figured it would be a temporary outage, maybe a few hours, but we received no notification whatsoever. Here it is Friday March 3 and their system is STILL down. How does a "smart" technology company have an outage for an entire WEEK??! Our tenants have now been 3 days without a thermostat and functioning heat. This is INSANE. At least come up with a solution to have your techs complete their scheduled installations. As for now we need to deal with irate tenants without a thermostat. We could hire someone else but have already paid for the installation. We even pay for an OnTech+ subscription--what a waste. I hope to god they are planning to compensate their customers for this.

I had my Nest thermostat installed by OnTech, less than 6months later my battery is drained on my nest and throws a wiring issue. I've been trying to get this resolved since before the cyberattack that occurred, but even their onTech support chat and phone number cannot talk to their scheduling team. First the cyberattack, I get it, it happens. I cannot believe that there was no disaster recovery (DR) in place for a technical company. A fail on two accounts. Alternatively, their message on the voicemail says there will not be a service disruption for customers, but there VERY MUCH is because their support cannot contact the customer care nor scheduling team. So everyone is dead in the water. I've been told to email, great I have emailed every single day. I cannot use my heat or cooling in my home because of their faulty installation. So, no DR, my personal information may have been compromised , and no way for them to rectify their service is why I'm giving a 1. Disappointed customer.

I prepaid in full $475 for installation of a doorbell/camera and scheduled an installation appointment. The tech never arrived. Their website says they are "experiencing a system issue" and they are not answering their phone.

Purchased a Cell phone signal booster through BestBuy with installation included in the purchase price. OnTech was ************************ provided with the purchase. Received the package Thursday 2/23/23 and call to schedule 2/23/23 and received an automated phone message that their system was down but services would not be interrupted. I have tried calling 3 times a day, visiting their website all with the same outcome. It is now day 4 and still having the same issues of their system being down. I am at a loss and dont know where to begin with how frustrated I am with OnTech. Please help get this resolved
