      Did not follow installation instructions resulting in a faulty installation.Claimed they did nothing wrong, despite documented proof of instructions not being followed.

      Great, on-time, installation. Installer was helpful and made sure the sensor placements made sense. He kept us in the loop step by step and made sure the app was controlling the system properly before he left.

      I employed OnTech to install a Simplisafe security system. They offered an appointment time within a 2 hour period. The technician called 45 minutes before arriving to insure my presence during the installation process. The technician was very knowledgeable and meticulous with his work. He did an excellent job and left the home very neat and clean. My experience with OnTech exceeded my expectations in all respects.

      I purchased a Whole Home Enhanced Kit from ******** because they promised a free installation from OnTech with my purchase. I never received an email with the security code. After 3 or 4 (!!) chats with their customer service team I was finally able to receive a code to use with OnTech. This code DOES NOT WORK and Ring and OnTech have not been willing to fix their issue. After multiple phone calls with the OnTech team I still have not received any help from them either. I feel like I have just been scammed out of my time and money from 2 companies who have no intention of providing the service they promised. Not to mention that OnTech only has the option for "Premium Appointments" which cost $20. Even if you go out months or years there are no normal appointments so as far as I can tell the promise of a free install was a sham from the start even if the code would have worked.

      Had a fantastic experience with the OnTech ******* office - installation of my WeBoost system was flawless! Would highly recommend my technician especially - bright young man named ******. Scheduling, arrival, time to do the job, sucessfull installation - not a single problem. quite Refreshing to experience this.

      OnTech is expensive: they require payment in full when scheduling.08/07/24: I paid OnTech $208.14 to install an outside camera + $101.40 at install for an additional part + $21.34 for another item.OnTech is responsive: it only took a week to get the appointment. 04/02/24: the base station was not working and a new base station was received without charge from the security company. HOMEOWNER PROBLEM: a new base station requires that all components be disconnected and reconnected to the new base station - the security company walked me through each step until we needed to reconnect the outside security camera.HOMEOWNER ISSUE: reconnecting the outside camera required that the tiny button on top of the camera be pressed for a few seconds so that the camera would reconnect to the base station. The camera is located at the top of the exterior wall and just under the roof overhang.ONTECH: charges $129.99 for installation of the security system's outside camera, BUT they charge $159.99 for a diagnostic appointment.ONTECT ISSUE #1: they consider pressing the button for 3 seconds as a diagnostic problem. ONTECH ISSUE #2: requested to speak with a supervisor and was told that none were available, but she would have one call me back in about three days. ONTECH ISSUE #3: found two phone numbers, but they both go to the same scheduling department; there is no way to contact a corporate office or anyone outside the isolated scheduling department who would have the authority to make a decision.SUMMARY: I understand the cost of OnTech services, but I do not understand how they justify "never" having a supervisor available or how they justify their inability to make a decision about a request for service that will pass the sanity test. I did not need a diagnostic appointment.I would be better off financially to hire a handyman to unscrew the outdoor camera and then request an install from OnTech.

      ******* did a great job installing our SimpliSafe alarm system. He was courteous, professional, helpful, and answered all of our questions. He was very neat with the installation and respectful of our home. I would highly recommend OnTech.

      Showed up, said they couldnt install mount because there was no stud, and then refused to return money they charged me. By the way, there was a stud and it could have been installed.
