      Ecoshield mislead me on signing a contract with a different amount they charge me . Ecoshield is charging the Quarterly fee ahead of time and now charging me a cancellation fee z ecoshield did not explain all the details of the work to be completed and took ******* out of my account without my permission. The form I signed was for a lower amount and was to be financed. I dont want any business with them and I want for them to remove all fees associated with me . They lied about the services and over priced the services provided which was the insulation.

      I was approached by a *** and told my neighbors would be using them for pest control since our HOA cancelled pest control. I signed up for what appeared to be a one time service for things we discussed. I since spoke to HOA and my neighbors and found out the *** was not only lying (hoa did not cancel our pest control and he made up neighbor names), he did not tell me that it was for multiple services as I asked to just have a wasps nest removed. When I went to cancel they sent me a bill for over $300 after already paying for the service prior to them rendering it. I paid almost $400 and have a bill for $300 for cancelling a membership that was not in the document he handed me to sign (it was electronic and I was assured I would get a copy later which I still have not received). I have contacted the company about false advertising and unlawfully having me sign for a membership when I read what I was signing and there was no mention of it, and they hung up on me and resent me the same bill a few days later. They will not let me speak to anyone who can send me the contract which I would then be able to verify was not what I signed on his electronic form. They will not release me from the large cancellation fee for a membership I never agreed to.

      Ecoshield came door to door with salesmen, selling home pest solutions. They offered amazing deals to their customers, including full service home protection. The salesmen are clearly instructed to show all of these amazing things to their customers to get them interested in buying their product at a market competitive price. This happened to me last summer. I was shown mouse, scorpion, and all the other pests that *** bother your home. After agreeing to a service contract for a duration of ******************************************************************** burying in details about a 24 month contract and paybacks related to cancellations down the line. Additionally, when I actually had an issue with mice, which is covered under my contract, they refused to cover it, claiming that I did not have coverage for mice and refusing to help me seal the interior by claiming it was "exterior" which wouldn't be covered. The issue of the bait and switch that the company does is the biggest issue at hand. When I called to cancel, they refused to let me actually speak to someone who can do it. Instead they kept asking me "why", and tried to negotiate with me. As per Colorado law, I have a right to cancel a contract for "home solicitation sales" by writing in. They know this, yet never presented it as an option. I am now writing in to cancel, but this companys deception and clear manipulation is disgusting and should be noted in their scoring here on the BBB.

      I was approached to receive services at my new home on the day we were moving in. The salesperson was aggressive and used scare tactics. I initially agreed to have a service appointment that afternoon. Within 30 minutes I contacted the agent to reschedule so I could have time to review the contract. I was told sorry, the person already came and did their service. I followed up and asked to change the terms of service and was told that they had been updated. I have now learned they were never updated, instead the agent made a second account. I requested a full cancellation of the service and believe I should not have to owe a cancellation fee as the initial service was not correctly done and not at a time when I was home to verify that anything was even done. This is a terrible service that made no effort to help me and took advantage of the moment of a new home owner during move in. Attempts to stop service and change service were misrepresented by the agent. Further, the person who claimed they came to my house at 3pm for service lied as the texts show that they claimed they showed up an hour prior when they knew I wasnt there. I am requesting the cancellation be waived and confirmation that no service remains open in my name.

      I am filing a complaint against EcoShield Pest Solutions for deceptive business practices and harassment. A salesperson from the company contacted me for a service, stating they do everything by a recurring contact that can be canceled at any time. He assured me that I could cancel my contract at any time if I was unhappy with the service (which I was). However, they did not disclose the substantial hidden fees associated with canceling the contract. Additionally, I have not received a copy of the contract despite multiple requests. The company is now calling me daily, threatening to send me to collections for a cancellation fee. This behavior is unethical and unacceptable. I seek resolution through the BBB to address these deceptive practices and harassment.

      The first salesman was as nice as he could be. However the first ********** only did a partial spray job. He didn't spray around our VW bus where the wasps have been seen entering by the masses. The next week, our son was bitten TWO times by a large black widow ! So much for that extermination. The "second half" was done today. The tech was here "working" 4 minutes. He sat in his truck the rest of the time! NOT HAPPY. I called support and was held hostage by their " CARE team". They went on and on and on forever explaining why I couldn't cancel. EXCUSE ME!!!! Horrible service, a complete breach of contract and they insist they will be charging me no matter what !!!! I want NO further dealings with this company. They breached the contract and I therefore should be able to cancel service with them . This is atrocious, especially the harassment the customer service *** put me through for at least **************************************** business ?

      When we signed a contract with Ecoshield we were told by the sales *** it was a 12 month contract. On the first page of the contract it shows a billing cycle with payments for 12 months. When we decided we no longer wanted services after 14 months we called and were told the contract was actually for 24 months and that we owed $400 to cancel but they would do us a favor and cancel for $150. We were shocked because we believed we were signing on for the 12 months told to us by the sales person and detailed on page one of the contract. When signing we werent even provided the terms and conditions that were in the emailed document.

      EcoShield uses door-to-door service people who do not communicate the pricing information for their services correctly. In my instance, a special discount was offered to me after I initially turned down the service. The door-to-door sales person told me that there would be no penalty to charge. cancel early even though normally if you cancel early, they asked for $150 payment for a discount. I asked him twice to make sure I can cancel it anytime theyll be no charge. He said yes as long as youre up-to-date on your payments. I called to request to cancel the service after approximately a year and was told I was $150 cancellation fee. I asked them how this could be and they said that this was too recoup their discount they gave me initially, which was the exact item the door-to-door sales person told me I would not be charged for. After two months of arguing, they refused to even let me speak to a manager and said youre gonna owe us this money or were referring you a third-party collection agency. This company is unbelievable and runs a scam business.

      We switched to EcoShield on 4/22/24. Weve received 2 services and were charged $169 for each. After the 2nd service, we found multiple pest issues. I emailed photos to the company asking for a resolution. A touch-up service was scheduled and performed. The touch-up was ineffective. At this point, I asked my husband to cancel our account. This account is under my name, but I did not sign the contract. My husband signed the contract but EcoShield will not allow him to cancel the account.They refused to cancel the service on the spot and instead said theyd contact the local office and have the manager of that office reach out to close the account. Before hanging up we asked, Is the account canceled or will we have to call back and go through this again? We were told we wouldnt have to call back, the account was canceled The manager of the local office never called. The only contact we received was EcoShield calling to schedule our next service. We informed them that they were mistaken, wed canceled our account. They reported that they had no record of that. So we started the entire process again. Once again they refused to accept my husbands cancellation because he wasnt the account owner. I gave my approval to cancel the account and was transferred to the escalation team. The escalation team said theyd discount our services or schedule another service, we said no thank you, just cancel the account. They said theyd just need to charge my card the cancellation fee. I said the sales rep told us there was no cancellation fee. EcoShield is saying that I owe $150 plus tax for an annual discount that needs to be paid back due to canceling, despite only receiving two services and paying for both of them. I contend that they breached the contract by not providing the implied services and that I never signed the contract in the first place. We are requesting that the account be zeroed out.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      1. I did not sign that contract. If I am being held responsible, please provide the contract that I signed to confirm responsibility. 

      2. Services in the agreement are to provide for pest control services. There wasn't any pest control done. I am not going to spend a year paying for a service that is not being provided after already proven to be a failure. 

      3. The pictures uploaded are after 3 services. Two are of an active wasp nest colony around my front door, and the 3rd is an active ant home in my front yard that is approximately 3 feet from the front porch entrance. After 3 services, I'd expect some kind of reduction of pest, however the pest are thriving.

      4. How am I supposed to held liable for an agreement that wasn't signed by me and the services in the agreement are not being rendered? 

      5. I would like a full refund to allocate the funds to a pest control service that actually works.

      Recently a door to door salesman from ecosheild showed up at my fathers house who is a disabled veteran with parkinsons, and convinced him to buy a pest control package he did not need with no one else around, and now he has a bill in collections because he is not capable of managing his own finances. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior and he should never have been billed in the first place. We have NO SOLICITOR signs in our driveway that were ignored.
