    I have had the worst experience with this company's customer service and their inability to keep commitments to clients because of their internal errors on communicating appropriately. If you promise a client a refund even in error that is not on the consumer to fix but for the company to keep their word if that's what was communicated. I've spent countless hours on the phone with them and the only way to speak to a manager is scheduling a call back IF THEY EVER CALL YOU BACK. They are inflexible and not consumer friendly at all, good food which is unfortunate since their notication system ***** (if you download the app, you get 1 single reminder and never get emails again) also seems nobody in their customer care have the same knowledge of how anything works when they are telling me I get email confirmation of skips when you do not if you have the app and that email is the only way to get a refund. AWFUL AWFUL COMPANY.

    Green chef does not deserve one star. I give them zero. Let's talk about their customer service department first, they suck! You call them with your problems and they tell you anything to get you off the phone. The only thing they are interested in, is for you to give them a rating. My main issues with Green chef is that they are setup with meals that customer's select for the week. I selected my meals but don't receive my meals . They gave you meals that you have not selected and l don't eat. **************** tells you that there is nothing they can do for you to eat the meals. The other issue l have with Green chef is when you do receive your meals not all the ingredients are included. I hope this helps someone not to order anything from Green chef.

    They do not make records of interactions available to you. When their records are wrong you can not prove otherwise and that can lead to loss of money when, for example you cancel a subscription but they claim you did not. Their customer service is not able to assist you.

    If I could give this company zero stars I would. First off, the meal selection was not good and over half of there meals had an up charge on them. When we ordered we were very very careful to not click any with an up charge. And then magically after the payment hits my account I have an extra 30 dollar charge! I called customer service and was told they could do nothing. This was a hidden few!!!! When we got our food, everything hit the fan. No one called, messaged, or knocked saying the food was outside. Thank god I was watching the tracking. After I opened the box things were wet and I was confused. At the bottom of the box there was an open bag of chicken! It wasnt even sealed! The box had to be placed upset down since everything was covered in chicken juice. I got a refund after sitting on the phone and fighting with them to cancel for over an hour. I immediately got the first charge back but not the second, when I called and asked why they blamed my bank! I called my bank and they immediately said no thats not on us I had to file a dispute and get the money back I was missing from the bank. This company is very shady and I wish I would have checked for reviews here first. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

We'd like to inform you that we offer at least two premium meals each week, which are marked as "Gourmet Plus" due to their top-of-the-line recipes and high-quality ingredients. As these meals are premium, there is an additional charge per serving. We apologize for any confusion and would like to make things right!     This is the most messed up food system that I have ever seen. I ordered food on the 2nd of July, and noted at the time that I was not able to get VEGAN meals. At the same time I canceled the order and received an email stating so. Also un aware that the email stated that the order that I canceled would be delivered on July 7th, 5 days after I CANCELED it. This is a sure way of sticking it to the consumer with the CANCELATION WAY. We are SENIORS that live on a limited income, and cannot be subjected to this type of selling. Going forward I will make any and all notes on the internet regarding this crime that you are committing and hope that people will see the light and stay away from your business. Seniors beware of these guys they are out to get you and everybody else..

    I received a free box coupon from a friend to try and was under the impression the first box would be free of charge. They charged me a hidden free of $31.96 that wasnt disclosed or authorized by me. Even though it has not been shipped out yet, they wont let me cancel that order or give me a refund because its already been processed in their system. I was emailed a receipt that said total was $10.99 for shipping and didnt show any additional charges. I also called after getting this email and was assured that I would only be charged $10.99 for the first box and not be charged any additional fees until after July 8th if I did not cancel the next order. This company is fraudulent and dishonest. Beware!

    I deactivated my account yesterday. Today I was charged for the next delivery, this weekend. I phoned customer service and asked the delivery be stopped and my account refunded. I was told the delivery can not be stopped and no refund can be applied. I told the person I disputed the charge and will not a accept the box. Again asked the delivery be stopped as it would be a waste of food. Again was told the delivery can not be stopped because the order went to the distribution center. I asked to speak with a supervisor. The staff refused to transfer me to a supervisor but eventually offered me half off the next box. Pointed out I deactivated the account so the offer is useless. The company used to be good. 3 years ago I was a member and had an issue with the box. I called and the staff person was helpful and issued a refund. Not sure what happened to the company but it is not good anymore.

    Beware Green Chef Corporation will send out subscription orders after cancelation! Not just once but twice they sent out canceled subscriptions and charged me with out my concent. I was on the phone hours ,written Numerous emails and automated texts with the corporation. Assured repeatedly that I would get a refund that it would be 10 to 5 days and I would get a refund in my account and it never happened. Not only that I had moved so my subscriptions Were going to an address that I no longer lived at and did not want and had canceled, yet I paid for them nevertheless! BUYER BEWARE !

    I signed up using a coupon to ***** box. Ended up having my card charged for the following week. I was not expecting to sign up for the subscription. When I released was for a subscription. I called asking to cancel and refund. They refused to provide with a refund due to the "terms."I explained I didn't meant to sign up, I just want to try and see if my family would like and later to decide if the subscription will be a good idea for **.

    CONSUMER BEWARE: Green Chef wants payment information upfront. I tested out plans to see what it would cost and to see what the meal suggestions were, I decided it wouldnt work for me. so I thought I cancelled. But according to Green Chef. . Once you have signed up you are locked into the first order and cancelling doesnt matter. They will send the first box and charge you for it. They will not refund your money, nor have you return the product. Green Chef insists that the policy is online that Deactivating is not the same as Cancelling. But it doesnt matter because you are automatically committed to that first box. I was not successful with getting my money back and nor any way to return the product. Once again, another ****** learned the hard way: if an online business needs your payment information first, it would be best to NOT give it and move on. Or if an online business wants your payment information first, do a research and see what their policies are and find reviews about returns and refunds etc. if they have your payment information, your money is as good as home!!!
