    Several complaints. My very first box was delivered to a locker room in the front office. 2 large heavy boxes containing food should always be delivered to your feont door. My husband was home but didnt know so the food sat in a locker room for 8hrs until I was able to get it. It was not at all the temperature it should have been, it was melted. I went into my account and skipped the next few boxes. I was charged yesterday. 165! I had no intention of keeping this service. They woman told me I skipped 3 weeks, didnt skip the next week and skipped weeks after. I said NO I skipped all the weeks, why would I leave a random week. She proceeded to tell me she could not stop the order and refund me that the order was processed. I said how? Food isn't delivered untl Wednesday thats 4 days. So you're telling me the food is sitting in boxes at ***** with cold packs days prior to even being shipped? I immediately began to talk about quality control and internal temperatures. You can not package perishable food, especially fish 4 days prior to shipping. She told me ***** will get my order monday and shipping Wednesday? At no point is this food put into refrigerators its simply packed with ice packs. Its very hard to believe that the internal temperature of this food is *** safetly approved. That solidified my decision to never order these types of deliveries again! I of course wanted to get a refund at this point. She refused! I will immediately open this box when it arrives and check the internal temperature of the fish/meat if it is not a safe internal temperature, i will be calling whoever i need to too escalate this. Green chef has zero emails/phone numbers for corporate thats why im here. I will however contact my lawyer and get social media and the media involved. These are unsafe practices and you are forcing people to pay for food that was cancelled dispite the order not being processed or boxed yet? Very unprofessional practices.

    So I signed up for Greenchef with their 50% off promotion. At some point, I received notification that my payment didnt go through and I would have to update it to get my order; I never did, so my food never came, of course. I never fixed it, so Second time, same thing- no payment, no food. Third time- still hadnt changed any information, an on the way email Tuesday at 5 am. I went and cancelled the account as soon as I saw it, then looked back at older emails- I received an email on Saturday stating that I needed to update payment before 11 pm sunday for my food to be on time Sunday 10 am I had received an email stating that despite my non payment they were sending me food- As you are a valued Green Chef customer, we will still be sending you a box despite your payment not being complete. I wasnt even really a customer yet? I saw neither of theseSo food arrived on time, Tuesday. While looking for a contact number, I came across all these complaints- some very similar to mine- seems like a real problem; and with very little help from the company in response. They sent me follow up email that balance was due. * special note* despite me never actually getting the food before, the 50% off was still used up, so I was in the 10% off category now. * Though It wasnt my fault they sent me food without me paying, which Ive NEVER heard of a company doing I was trying to figure out what to do- when I got notification that my card was charged for the food?Im sorry- how did the payment all of a sudden go through, after three failed attempts, when I changed absolutely nothing on my account?

    Green Chef sent an email stating: We wanted to let you know that we were unable to authorize your payment method for this weeks delivery. As you are a valued Green Chef customer, we will still be sending you a box despite your payment not being *********** avoid any future disruptions or outstanding balances, please pay now!I did not consent to a box of food being sent to me. They just sent it regardless and are now sending emails regarding a balance due. I did NOT approve this! Unsure of how much they are even asking for and will not be paying this no matter what. The account/deliveries were canceled beforehand as well and no payment method available. The unwarranted box delivered 8/22/2025 was donated as I have no need for all the food. I want the emails to cease and an apology. Never consented to this and will NOT be paying this crooked company.

    Reactived my account with ******************** Chef + was charged for the first delivery upon reactivating. I then saw that the next week's meals looked better and skipped that first delivery, which is a feature on their website. As my deadline to skip my August 29th box was approaching, I saw that I was going to be charged. I reached out to customer service to see if I was going to be charged for my skipped box and my upcoming box. They were adamant that I hadn't skipped my August 22nd box, despite it showing up on the website. **************** was unhelpful in resolving this issue. There was a lack of transparency in the terms of resubscribing.

    I have had this issue many times with Green chef. Recently I was told on June 10th since my food was delivered spoiled that I would be getting a full refund, a week later no refund. When I called about this issue I was told by another agent that they never actually processed it and it would be another 5-10 business days for my $175 order not refunding the shipping fee of $12. This is a regular issue with them if they say they will refund for damaged items or issues with the fresh food boxes.

    My experience with Green Chef was incredibly frustrating and dishonest. The checkout process was misleading, and I immediately called to cancel the service before receiving any product. I was assured multiple times that a refund would be processed, but it never materialized. Despite numerous follow-up calls, each time I was told the refund was being processed, yet it never appeared in my account. To make matters worse, they refused to provide a cancellation number or a confirmation email, leaving me with no proof of my attempts to resolve the issue. This is unacceptable customer service. Save yourself the headache and avoid Green Chef.

    I was charged for a delivery I did not ask for, I was never notified that this automated delivery would be on its way. I canceled the account and asked for a refund but Green Chef refuses to cancel the delivery and also refuses to refund me.

    Tricks you into an automatic order when you sign in to your account. Says if log in you automatically set up subscription delivery. I told them to cancel my account, dont charge me or send product, and your website is deceptive.

    I used to order from Green Chef back in 2022. It was a good experience. I went online to look at their menu to see if they had any good menu items coming up. It made me login to see this, which I did. I didn't see anything I liked. I "hearted/favorited" a few items but I did not order anything.Days later I receive a delivery from Green Chef that I didn't order. I emailed them and I got an auto-email return and then a follow up email asking me to give them stars for being awesome which I could not do. Today I called them to ask what happened and to tell them to stop sending me food. They said my account was reactivated when I went into the portal. They said they will not refund me. I see a pattern here.

    Email confirms confirmation. In this email is you call the phone number listed it brings you to Factor - they say they can not help and to goggle to find the phone number to Green Chef. Why do they list the wrong phone number? This email was from 3/12. First time I cancelled was on 3/1/2025 - email proceeding. I was charged an additional $82.93 on 3/8/2025 after 3/1/2025 cancellation. I is currently showing an email of "pick your next weeks meals" I simply would like my refund.
