    I hit the skip feature for what I was told was the next week for Green Chef on 12/14/22. I was told I would not be receiving any more boxes from Green Chef. I received a text from Green Chef saying the food was on the way for tomorrow Tuesday December 20. I called to explain I already skipped and I was told they would be charging me or I could donate the food. Those did not seem like viable options whatsoever. The customer service was extremely rude and said they would be glad to take me out of the account. I have been told they still charge after you cancel your account which I did. I want a refund for this week's food and a promise they won't charge me anymore.

    I sent the email below on 12/11/22. I have not heard back. The email details my issue. The phone reps seem to have no way to rectify the issue caused by a Green Chef employee.I have tried to reach management to no avail. Date: 12/11/22 11:04 AM To: Green Chef Hello. I was utilizing the Hero Discount and loving the service. There had been an issue with one of my orders, I called and spoke with a representative who gave me a partial refund, which was great. He also CANCELLED MY HERO DISCOUNT! I have made several calls, spoken with ***** and ******. No one seems to be able to fix this and there is no way for me to get a new code through ID Me. All of this should be detailed in my account. I'd love to talk with a representative/CEO that can solve my issue since the error was done by your company. Not being able to remedy this is horrid customer service.*******************

    I received an email on Sunday 12/11 for **** per meal and free shipping. It was through Rakuten. I clicked on the link and it said my promotion was applied. If I got a code I didnt think I needed to save it (I dont remember if it showed me an actual code or not) I changed the 3 meals pre-selected for me. I remember seeing the total would be $70 something. Again I didnt write it down, I figured it would all be in my account history. I didnt get any kind of confirmation that my purchase had been successful so I used the online chat to check. The service rep assured me it had gone through. Today I notice my credit card was charged full price, $163.07 on 12/13 for this weeks order. I immediately call customer service. The rep **** and checked with someone and said they couldnt change it since it already went through!! They couldnt credit my card for the difference? Best they could do was email me a code for a future box. Obviously I will never use them again. My 3 meals had been changed to my preferences so I know my order went through. Yet somehow the offer of $**** and free shipping didnt, even though I ordered on a link that promised that. I feel that this is false advertising. Had they told me when I ordered that my total would be $163.07 I would NEVER have agreed to it. And now they will do nothing.

    Ordered green chef to find ways to eat healthy but ended up with spoiled meats and veggies. Attempted to cook what was thought to be ok and my family ended up getting very sick. I have paid for three boxes but tried to put a hold on for 3 weeks. It only held one box and changes a week before the box even ships. I called customer support and their only resolution was to cancel my subscription and offered a refund on only 1 box! I asked for a refund for the box that hasn't even shipped yet and they refused. I am very dissatisfied with the product and company practices.

    I received a promotional coupon in the mail from Green Chef. I went online on Dec 3, ********************************************* order to see the meal offerings. Nothing appealed to me, so I tried to cancel the credit card. I received a message saying the subscription was cancelled, but I would be receiving meals on Dec 14, 2022 with a charge of $41.14. I was mad and replied I felt I was being scammed and they better not charge my account or send me meals. Well, they charged my account on Dec 8, 2022 and sent me an email the meals would be arriving Dec 14, 2022. I read reviews that other people are having the same problems. Please help me. I feel this business is scamming many folks out of hard earned money.

    I went to the Green Chef website based on an ad I saw. Immediately I was required to enter my credit card info just to see the products. I did so, (shame on me) and was taken to an order page. Once I viewed the foods and saw their ingredients and nutritional info I knew it was not for me. I cancelled my account and left the page. My cancellation received a confirmation. All of this took place within 3 minutes. I discovered the next day that I had been charged for a plan. I went back to the website where I finally located a paragraph hidden at the bottom of a page stating that even though an account is cancelled you still have to call to cancel. More deceptive business practices. I called the customer service number and spoke to a representative (I have his name if needed). He could not locate my account no matter what info I gave him. He was finally able to find me after I gave my address. He then informed me that once my card info is processed (before you even see the products) it is too late to cancel and I have no recourse. No matter what I said he just kept telling me there is nothing I can do. He also stated that I got a confirmation email of my "order" -which is also not true. I asked what email address he sent it to since he has no record of me or my email. He just reiterated that I have no recourse and it is too late to cancel anything. This company is practicing deceptive business practices. I should have known better when I was required to give financial info before ever being allowed to see the products! This is a con that should be illegal. I have also contacted my congressman to see if they can investigate this fraudulent company. The website is extremely confusing (which I now believe is intentional). If a consumer doesn't want the product it is too late because once you get access to the product list they already have your credit card info and you get charged-even if you follow their directions to "cancel". I am appalled that they can do this.

    I ordered green chef as a gift for my daughter. On Tuesday 12/6/22 I went online and canceled the subscription to avoid getting the next box. On Wed 12/7/22 I was charged for the next box that ships out on Tuesday 12/13/22. When I called I was told the only changes made to my account were skipping the week of 12/20/22, and that my next shipment was already scheduled so I could not cancel it. It is wrong to be charged after I canceled it and a week before it is even shipped out. There is no reason they could not have stopped the shipment. I think this company is scamming people out of their money and should be shut down.

    I just called customer service because I received a shipment that I didn't order. I looked at the website and created an account a few days ago. I immediately cancelled the account because the website is not user friendly and I couldn't figure out how to change the food choices. I was told by customer service that I had to cancel the service and the order. The problem is I never put it an order. If I cancelled the subscription minutes after I set up the account obviously I want to cancel everything included. How is someone supposed to know you have to cancel twice. I asked for a refund but was told it was not apoptoses because I was notified about the order via email. The email said the last order would be sent but I never ordered and was only on the website for a few minutes so how do I have a last order. I don't want anything in the box. Can't eat anything in there. I want a refund. This is setup intentionally be difficult so people can't cancel. This is fraud.

    I decided to check out Green Chef. I was a bit taken aback when I saw that before I could look at anything other their face page I had to provide my personal information and a credit card. Like many others I have discovered, I did provide it only to now to regret.The featured meal plan was keto but I saw that there were several others including vegan. I tried repeatedly to select vegan but was unable to. Literally before I knew what had happened I saw information about my order, keto for 4 people that would be arriving on December 5. Stunned, I tried repeatedly to figure out how to cancel it but I could not. I I contacted customer service explaining that I did not want the order and could not figure out how to cancel it. After several different discussions about what I had done wrong the representative agreed to cancel the order and delete my information. I was relieved but very disturbed by what I had experienced. The next morning I looked on line and saw that my account was not deleted but was alive and well with an order coming on December 5th and another order scheduled for the 12th. And again without any action on my part the second order was for a balanced living diet. I guess they just decide what you should have. I checked my Citibank credit card and the charge for the first shipment was there. I filed a dispute. Since the credit card charge had been placed through PayPal I also contacted them to open a dispute. Surprisingly the PayPal dispute record now also shows charges for another 2 deliveries (for a total of 4) that I would otherwise know nothing about. I looked at my Green Chef account again and it only shows canceled. Citibank only shows the first charge. From what others have said in their complaints I believe they lock you into 4 weekly shipments, a subscription, but charge each one directly prior to shipping. Of course since I never knew I ordered anything I have no way of knowing what I did not order but will be charged for.

    I order a "free trial for $11" from Green Chef on 11/22/22 and was waiting for it to arrive to decide if I wanted to continue. I received my first box of food on the evening of 11/28/22. Since I had not had time to actually check it out, I went to the website to pause my account the morning of 11/29/22, only to find that I have already been charged $147.77 for a box that will arrive on 12/05/22. I immediately called and tried to cancel the order and was told that I had to pause it the day before, at the latest. I explained that I had not even received the box until the previous night. I was hung up on by 2 CSRs (***** and ******) and finally was able to cancel future orders with the third one (******), but am still being told that I cannot cancel, or even alter, the order that has not even been shipped yet. I looked at what I am supposed to be receiving and there is no way I will eat any of that and I do not want this delivery. They keep saying that you only have 7 days to pause, skip, or cancel, but today is 7 days, not yesterday. That doesn't even make sense when it takes that long to get the order in the first place. The trial is made to appear that you will have time to try the food before deciding whether you want to order additional boxes. That was not the case and now I will not even consider doing any further business with the company. I simply want to cancel this order and receive a full refund for this purchase I never made.
