    Tried to cancel order set to be delivered in one week. Regardless pf policy the representative was extremely rude and wont let me even talk. I was denied my request to speak with a supervisor.

    English is my second language and I live between two different states. I saw that I had a pending charge this morning from Green Chef, so I called right away about this. They informed me that I needed to cancel the weeks order within 5 days. I tried calling yesterday, but I couldn't talk to anyone in Spanish. Today a friend helped me use a chat online and the person said that I could move the order to later in the week as I'm not in ********* and won't return there until next week. I'm not understanding why this can't be canceled if I'm not in that location, but they are ok with changing the date that the item will be sent. Makes no sense as I'm trying to do what I can and needed my friends help to try and resolve this. I do not want a box next week, as we are not there and I try to explain this. Thanks.

    Hello On June 15th I created an account for ******************** Chef and after carefully reviewing the selection of meals, I was decided based on the health restrictions with our family we were unable to eat any of the meals. I quickly submitted a cancelation for the account and later was charged for the order. I called Green Chef and the customer service representative did not provide me any other options. I requested a refund for the box. I was told she could not provide a refund and now my family cannot eat these meals. The representative said she would let me complete a survey but then hung up the phone.

    As a disabled person, I thought I would try Green Chef as a way to make shopping and meal planning easier for me. They charge and hold you to a subscription even to look at the meal choices, which is ridiculous. I ordered one box to try, picked the meal's I wanted, and SKIPPED the next several boxes to see if I would like it. Once I received my first order WEEKS AGO, I decided to cancel as it wasn't for me. I immediately called in to their support as I have had issues with cancelling online in the past with other companies, and CANCELLED MY ACCOUNT WITH AN AGENT WEEKS AGO. I was extremely annoyed when low and behold after checking my bank account, I found ******************** Chef just charged me out of NOWHERE. I IMMEDIATELY contacted them to find out what was going on. I got a customer service agent who after I explained situation, hung up in my face! I then GOT ONLINE and chatted into two different people who refused to refund me DESPITE THIS BEING AN ERROR ON THEIR END. I explained multiple times that I had cancelled my account WEEKS AGO. I EVEN HAVE PROOF FROM AN EMAIL THEY SENT ME. GREEN CHEF COMPANY IS UNETHICAL! I personally have never heard of a company that, if your product has NOT EVEN SHIPPED, that you can't cancel it, ESPECIALLY when there's mistakes made ON THEIR BEHALF! I will not rest until this has been resolved! Thank you!

    On June 1 I entered my payment information into Green Chefs website in order to LOOK at their meals and plans. This should have been a huge red flag to me but I was very interested in their service. After looking at food options and deciding quickly the program was not for me, I went through the process of clicking multiple times - DEACTIVATE MY ACCOUNT. I did not receive an email from them regarding an order OR deactivation. Today (6/9) 2 boxes of food - literally none of which I will eat as I do not eat fish or pesto - arrived at my front door. I received no notification I was being charged or that the food would be arriving. I am incredibly frustrated and disgusted by these business practices.

    I canceled my Green Chef subscription in the second week of May and was still charged on June 3rd and received a box. I didn't realize this until after I received the unexpected Green Chef box, but I never received a confirmation email for my cancellation. I think something is wrong with the deactivation process on their website but they refuse to acknowledge this issue. I went through the entire cancellation process. Deactivated my plan, chose reasons why, even wrote in the box specifics about why I can't eat certain foods in your meals, and clicked "Yes, Deactivate My Plan" the 3-4 separate times they require before cancelling your plan. I vividly remember even leaving a kind feedback comment, mentioning histamine intolerance (my medical condition) and that I would sign up again if you ever made this diet an option. I then deactivated my account 3 more times after receiving the unexpected Green Chef box - no confirmation email.I called customer service today and they FINALLY deactivated my account. I told the customer service rep on the phone that I even tried to cancel it again this morning and NO conformation email came through to me email. The customer service representative let me know that he is unable to refund my money. I cannot eat the food they sent with my medical condition. Since this was a technical error on Green Chefs part, I requested a refund for the amount of my last box both over the phone and via email and was denied both times. I did my due diligence to deactivate my account due to financial reasons and cannot eat over 85% of the ingredients in this box. I am requesting that $132.01 be refunded back to my card. I cannot eat these meals, I did my due diligence to deactivate my plan, and since Green Chef doesn't believe me and are refusing to take responsibility I am out of money that I desperately need.

    I didnt have sufficent time to cancel my order as i was doing military training. GreenChef refused to issue a refund and cancel my order. They are hard to work with for military personnel.

    This company makes you submit payment information before being able to view the meal plans, so I entered payment information. Upon viewing the available meals, there weren't enough options that my entire family would enjoy and the additional price to make the meat organic made the meals too expensive. I canceled the subscription and deactivated the account. This was may 16. I cancelled the account within 10 minutes of creating it and I got a confirmation email that the account was deactivated. After deactivating, I clicked on orders and it said the account was deactivated, so no orders or meals could be viewed. I wanted to make sure there were no pending orders created and every link I clicked said the account was deactivated, so I thought everything was canceled. I received no further email or communication from green chef. Today, May 26, I received an email from ***** informing me of a delivery occurring tomorrow, May 27, from GreenChef. I called greenchef right away and learned that they charged me and shipped an order! I explained everything that happened and the customer service rep was unable to cancel the order or refund my money. I asked to speak with a manager and after a long hold, he told me that I'd hear back from someone. I again insisted on speaking with a supervisor, he told me all were busy and then hung up on me. I called again a few hours later, I waited 20min to speak with a manager and then was told they are still busy and I would get a call back. They haven't called back. I want to be refunded for this order. I received no email stating an order was about to ship, no emails to say I can edit or cancel any pending order, and no emails even stating an order was about to or did ship! I want a refund.

    As a person with a disability, I thought I would try Green Chef as a way to make shopping and meal planning simpler. I ordered one box to try, picked the meal's I wanted, and SKIPPED the next THREE boxes for the rest of the month. This SHOWED CLEARLY ON THEIR WEBSITE! So today when I saw the charge from Green Chef for 127$, AFTER I CLEARLY CANCELED FOR THREE WEEKS IN ADVANCE, I was extremely annoyed and contacted the company IMMEDIATELY to find out what was going on. I got a customer service agent; who, after I explained situation, promptly hung up in my face! I called back and got what sounded like the same person, and tried to explain it again. What he said to me next FLOORED ME. He said," ma'am since it's beyond the date to modify the order, ( it was literally hours ) I will do a one-time situation of sending it to a different address, or changing the meal choice". So in other words, they hadn't even sent the box out yet! I replied that I had canceled our modified this box in plenty of time, by more than a week in fact! He replied back to me that there was nothing he could do unless I wanted to change the meals inside or send them to a different address, I then said I'd like to talk to a supervisor which he put me on hold for several minutes then came back and said a supervisor will have to call you back within 24 hours! Of course the box will be gone by that time on its way to wherever! I became very angry and said loudly that the GREEN CHEF COMPANY SUCKS!I personally have never heard of a company that, if your product has NOT EVEN SHIPPED, that you can't cancel it, ESPECIALLY when there's mistakes made ON THEIR BEHALF! This is entirely shady and unethical, and I will not rest until this has been resolved!Thank you!

    I placed an order to try the service on 4/11/23. I no longer wanted to get orders so I skipped future orders. I called to cancel but apparently they did not do so. On 5/15 I received an email that they shipped an order *********. I immediately called and was told nothing they could do that i agreed to it. I never picked out meals, never had a chance to tell them to cancel again. They claimed to have sent an email on 5/9 and i cannot find a thing in my spam, trash, inbox, important or starred emails to see that they did that at all. Now they will not allow me to cancel or send this back and are charging me $75.74 for something I did not order, request, or want. My refrigerator is broke. I provided a receipt showing the new one will not arrive until Friday. I have no where to go with this either and customer service is ridicuously unhelpful.
