I tried to cancel discord through midjourney and they make it very difficult. Unable to access my account anymore bc I deleted it but i am still getting charged monthly. No number to call and the email bot is not helping Please help get them to remove my card. Thanks!Business Response

We have contacted the complainant via our support ticketing system to inform them that we have cancelled their subscription, effective immediately. We also were able to approve a refund of the most recent payment based on account usage, and removed the payment method on file. $70.00 was taken from my bank account and I have never heard of MidJourney. No one in my family even has an account or heard of them either. I know $70.00 is not a lot for some people but it is for me and my family. I just want the money returned to my account. I have emailed and called MidJourney but no one has bothered to respond and this issue happened on 0713/2023. On July 4, 2023 I purchased Midjourney AI software. I was unable to create an image although I spent a lot of time trying. I tried contacting customer support and technical support over several days, but did not get through to anyone nor did anyone respond to me. The offer said the purchase could be cancelled within 30 days if usage did not exceed the allotted time. I cancelled the subscription on the website as instructed on July 8,2023, but the reply message said the cancellation was effective July 4, **** (a year away!) and there was no refund. I have contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge and need to wait ten days for their investigation.Business Response

On May 12th 2023 mid journey withdrew $4 out of my bank account . I didn't give them authorization and I don't even know what this company is or how they got my bank account information. On June 13th they again tried to take money out of my account but wasn't successful.Business Response

I got a text from **** of America asking regarding unidentified transaction on 4/13/23. Turned out it was Midjourney ****************** I never heard of and had no reason to purchase from there. It charged $30. My bank replaced my debit card. Later on 6/6/23 I was checking my statement, I found that Midjourney changed $30 again on 5/15/23. I had no idea how it happened after replacing my debit card. I couldn't find its phone number to contact them on website and LinkedIn. I hesitate to email to ask to remove my "subscription". I don't want to share sensitive information with the company I don't know about.Business Response

I noticed 2 pending transactions from this company Midjourney *** in my checking account this morning. I called my bank and was told they were charges against my debit card. I have no idea who this business is or why they charged me these 2 charges. I called my bank and reported the fraudulent transactions. I dont have an account with you.
There were 2 unauthorized charges on my debit card from your company.
Ive since had to cancel that card and dispute the transactions.

I dont use my debit card for any online transactions.
The date of the charges was 6-5-23, one for $10 and the other for $20
The charges initially showed MidJourney and an 800 number. They currently show httpswww.midca as part of the transaction detail

We provided a refund for $20 charge, and $10 charge is already in dispute with the bank. We are unable to refund while in dispute. It appears that the customer's card was used fraudulently from an IP address in *********.

A few days after these charges, I received notification that my personal data was stolen from a medical practicioner that I had used.

on april 10th 2023 Midjourney started removing $30 from my Direct Express card and they continued to charge my account this until 4/12/23 then they charged my account $10 for two times and then on 4/15/23 charged $30 for a total of $150. direct express refunded $30 but denied the remainder saying it wasnt fraud . As you can see below, my account was charged twice for a product I am not receiving. The only resolution offered is to contact their billing department who not returned a single email from anyone else experiencing the same problems. I don;t know if anyone else is filing a complaint about it, but I am strongly advising they do. This has been going for a month, with no answers, no possible resolutions, not even a hint as to what is actually happening. Our money is just being drafted and our accounts remain inactive. This is far from acceptable from any business. Imagine walking into a coffee shop paying for a coffee and then being told to gtfo; that's essentially what the "moderators" of Midjourney's ***************** do. We ask for help, they send us around and around in useless circles and I am desperately seeking your help. Thank you for your time concerning this matter; all moments are precious and I detest having to spend them doing this just to right a simple wrong that could be easily handled from within.
