    I signed up for the free trial, never got images I liked or could use, so I cancelled before the end of the free trial period, but they billed me anyway. Then a month later they billed me again. Now they're saying I have to cancel on their website, instead of through *****... ***** is where I originally subscribed for the free trial, and ***** gave me an option to cancel the subscription, which I took advantage of. ***** still shows that I successfully cancelled the subscription, but Midjourney continues to bill me. Even worse, they somehow got my new credit card number and continue to bill that without my consent.

    Midjourney does not currently have an app available through the Apple Appstore and no free trial is offered. 

    Based on this and the screenshot provided by the user, the user is not using the official ********************** service. They are subscribed to an unaffiliated "Mid Journey AI Photo" app that is misleading its users. User will need to contact the app developer or ***** for customer service.

    Hello, I subscribed to the Midjourney pro plan and have been a loyal user since Dec 2022. I was recently unexpectedly banned without any warning or any messages explaining the reason. I reached out to Midjourney support via email to inquire about the reason for the ban. They stated they could not disclose any details and simply directed me to submit an appeal form. I submitted the appeal as requested, but was informed that I may not receive any response unless the ban is lifted. How rediculous is this? They took my money, banned me, and failed to tell me the reason for the ban and to make matters worse it's been 2 weeks they hasn't been any response to my appeal. Ive been using the platform within the terms of service and havent violated any of their rules. This is absolutely horrible customer service. They took money and closed my account and accused me of a terms violation when there has been no terms violation. If they are going to take my money and ban without any reason or explaination then at the very least they should provide proof that their terms have been violated and they have failed to do this. At least this is what a company that conducts principled business would do! Thank you for looking into this matter.

    Severe or repeated violations of the Terms of Service or Community Guidelines 
    Use of automation, scripting, third party APIs, or any other unauthorized means to interact with Midjourney.
    Engaging in the reselling of Midjourney services or accounts, or purchasing subscriptions through a third-party.
    Fraudulent billing activity, including disputed payments.
    Account sharing, or compromised accounts. 

    We have logs of the customer receiving a notification informing them of this and we take these violations very seriously. Terms of Service are available here: *************************************************************************************

    I am rejecting this response because it does not address the core points raised in my original complaint.
    I made it explicitly clear that I was banned without warning, without receiving any message or notification explaining the reason, and without being provided any evidence of alleged Terms of Service violations. Your reply only reiterates generic reasons for banning accounts, none of which apply to me,  and fails to specify the actual reason for my ban. Simply stating that "we have logs" without presenting them or explaining what they show is not a legitimate or transparent justification for terminating my account.
    Your response demonstrates a lack of transparency and fails to show any genuine effort to resolve this matter in a respectful or responsible manner. Rather than addressing my specific concerns, you provided a vague, templated reply that avoids accountability and leaves your paying users in the dark. 

    I am therefore requesting the following:
    A specific explanation of what alleged violation triggered the ban on my account, along with clear evidence of that violation.
    A full refund of my most recent subscription payment, as I was banned after only 2 days of usage with no explanation, despite having paid for an entire month.
    I have been a paying customer since December 2022 and have always abided by your terms. If you are going to ban users and retain their money, you have a responsibility to disclose the reason and provide proof of any violation. 
    The lack of transparency, accountability, and basic customer respect demonstrated in this matter is deeply concerning and not acceptable business conduct. I will continue to escalate this issue unless a proper and detailed resolution is provided.

    I am once again rejecting this response, as it completely fails to address any of the key points raised in my original complaint.
    Midjourney has quoted a general section from their Terms of Service, but they have not explained how any of those clauses apply to my specific case. I was banned without any prior warning, without receiving a message or notification explaining the reason, and without being provided any evidence of a Terms of Service violation.
    My request is simple and reasonable:
    A clear explanation of what specific alleged violation triggered the ban on my account.
    Evidence to support this claim.
    A refund for the subscription I paid for, which was terminated only two days into the billing cycle.
    None of these requests have been answered. Midjourneys response is vague, dismissive, and lacks any transparency or genuine effort to resolve the matter responsibly. Simply quoting a clause that allows the company to ban users at any time does not justify doing so without explanation, especially when money has been taken and no service is provided.
    Until these points are directly addressed and evidence is provided, Midjourney cannot justify their actions in banning my account or refusing a refund. I am still waiting for a proper and respectful resolution to this issue.

    Detailed Description of Complaint Longstanding Use and Timely Payment I have been a paying Midjourney subscriber since 2023, reliably renewing my subscription to create illustrations and stock assets.Unexpected Suspension On April 13, 2025, I paid for another month of service. A few days later, my account was suspended without prior warning or clear explanation.Unsubstantiated Allegations The notifications I received cite vague possible violations of the Terms of Service. None of the listed violations applies to me:I have never posted prohibited content.I have not used third-party bots or scripts in violation of the *** policy.I received no warnings or strikes before the suspension.Refusal to Refund My payment for the unused portion of the subscription has not been refunded.     Your account has been banned by Midjourney, your access to our service is permanently revoked.
     
    Bans can occur for several reasons, including but not limited to:

    Automation, scripting, or using other prohibited means of interacting with Midjourney
    Reselling or subscription purchases made through third parties
    Fraudulent billing activity, including disputed payments

    You should have received notifications in Midjourney informing you of this they would have appeared when you interacted with the bot.

    Per the Terms of Service, refunds are not issued for banned accounts. Your subscription has been canceled and you will not be charged again.

    I am a *******, I make a lot of content, all the content that I have selected as good is uploaded to stocks. Therefore, we cannot talk about reselling content.
    2. Some pop-up notification is mentioned... I saw this notification once, but I did not have time to react to this window, it disappeared by itself. Therefore, I think this point is not suitable...
    And in general, if I am accused of one of the points, let them provide evidence, and not just take and block...

    I hope others with a stronger voice can step forward and demand respect and responsibility from the platform.

    Was billed $96 for the annual subscription. My account shows I do NOT have an active subscription. So I cannot cancel the account or the recurring charges, because their system says I don't have an active subscription. They refuse to answer my emails to address the situation.

    On March 5, 2025, I subscribed to Midjourneys Standard Plan and paid $30.00 (Invoice #**A0DE43-0001, Receipt #****-0800-0721). Shortly after the payment, Midjourney banned my account permanently without providing any legitimate or detailed explanation (Reference ID: *************************************. They alleged violations of their Terms of Service but refused to show any proof or specifics about the claimed violations. I have consistently adhered to their terms and guidelines, and never engaged in prohibited activities such as automation, scripting, account sharing, or fraudulent payments. Despite multiple communications, Midjourney has refused both reinstatement and a refund, effectively taking my payment without delivering the promised service.

    I am rejecting the response provided by Midjourney, Inc. regarding my complaint.
    Midjourney has unjustly banned my account without providing clear reasoning or proof of any Terms of Service violation. Despite my attempts to seek clarification, they have failed to specify exactly what rule was allegedly broken. Instead, they issued a generic response stating that my account was banned, without transparency or accountability.
    I had purchased the Standard Plan ($30/month), which explicitly states that "Relax GPU Time" (slow generation) is unlimited according to their pricing page. However, despite being a paying customer, they revoked my access and refused to issue a refund. This practice of banning users and withholding their money, especially without clear justification, is unethical and unacceptable.
    I am requesting either:
    A detailed explanation with evidence proving the alleged Terms of Service violation.
    A full refund of my $30, as I was unable to use the service for the period I paid for.
    Midjourneys business practice of banning users and keeping their subscription fees without adequate reasoning is deceptive and unfair. I urge the BBB to take action against this behavior.
