    We have completed our investigation of this complaint and closed this account as fraud. We will send a request to
    the credit reporting agencies to have this account removed from the consumers credit report. This request may
    take up to 45 days to be reflected on the consumers credit report.

    Caine & Weiner Is reporting a collection account under my name. However, they have failed to provide proper validation of this alleged debt as required under the *************************** (****), specifically 15 U.S.C. 1692g. I formally requested validation of this debt, but to date I have not received any documentation that verifies the debt, the original credit or  any proof that Caine & Weiner has the legal right to collect on this debt.

    I have not received:

    A full breakdown of the alleged debt;

    Documentation showing chain of custody or legal assignment from the original creditor to  Caine & Weiner. Without this information, I cannot confirm whether the debt is valid or if Caine & Weiner is legally authorized to collect or report it. Their failure to properly validate the debt yet continue reporting it to credit bureaus is damaging my credit and constitutes a violation of federal consumer protection laws.

    I have a collection with Caine and Weiner and have tried to get ahold of them over the years to PAY it off but I cant get a response to get an account number to be able to login and pay. Ive tried multiple times to get in contact with them and have never heard back

    COLLECTION AGENCY is violating the Customer Name, they removed it from one bureau and did not removed it from rest of the bureaus.
