I honestly dont get why CAINE WEINER is reporting this debt under my name because I dont owe them anything. I never signed anything with them, and when I asked for a copy of the original application, they didnt even bother to provide it. Its frustrating because this is hurting my credit for no reason, and its just not fair. The burden of proof falls on the collection agency not the consumer (me). I find it concerning that Caine & Weiner is not complying with legal requests. I request Caine & Weiner agency provide proof they sent debt validation, as is my legal right. If Caine & Weiner cannot provide proof, I demand this account be removed from my credit report as is my right per FCRA section 623.(a)(i). I am rejecting this response because:
In response to the creditors recent statement regarding their investigation, I would like to clarify and emphasize the following:
1.Incomplete Address Claim: The creditor stated that they could not mail verification due to an incomplete address. However, I provided the most current and complete address available to me at the time of the complaint. If there was an issue with the address, I was never contacted by phone or email to correct itdespite the creditor having access to such contact information.2.Lack of Proper Verification: Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), I have the right to receive a proper verification of any account that negatively impacts my credit. Since the creditor acknowledges that they could not provide verification due to an incomplete address, this account remains unverified and should not be reported to the credit bureaus.
3.Failure to Resolve the Complaint: The creditors response does not provide any documentation or evidence validating the account. Instead, they directed me to call or email themyet this is after a formal complaint was filed through the proper channel. This response fails to resolve the issue at hand.
Given that the creditor has not verified the debt as required and is unable or unwilling to mail such verification, I respectfully request that the BBB urge the creditor to delete this account from all consumer reporting agencies in accordance with FCRA guidelines.
I am willing to cooperate fully to resolve this matter but expect that the creditor also fulfills their legal obligations. I have attached my updated and complete mailing address below for convenience, should they wish to provide verification at this stage.

Based on the information reviewed, we have determined this dispute is substantially similar to a dispute previously investigated and responded to on May 29, 2025. We previously mailed the consumer verification on June 6, 2025. Please send any additional information or documentation to support your dispute to our office to re-investigate.
