    I am writing to file a complaint against Caine & Weiner has erroneously reported under my credit file, regarding the ************** ********** in the amount of $452a debt that I never incurred or authorized.1. Account Does Not Belong to Me I am not the account holder; this debt belongs to my husband.When I informed your agent of this fact, they stated they could not discuss the account because I am not on the account. This is unacceptable and violates my rights under federal law.2. Illegal Reporting under the **** By reporting this account under my name, Caine & Weiner is violating the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15U.S.C. 1681i and 1681s-2(a), which require:Furnishers to ensure maximum possible accuracy in credit reports (1681e(b));Promptly correct or delete any information that cannot be verified (1681i(a)), especially when the debt is not mine.3. FDCPA Violations Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (15U.S.C. 1692 set), Caine & Weiner is also in violation:1692c(b): A debt collector may only discuss the debt with the consumer, their spouse, or attorneynot refuse to provide information to the actual debtor.1692e: Misrepresenting the amount owed ($452) is prohibited.4. Demand for Immediate Action I hereby demand:Immediate removal of the *** Antech account from my credit file under all bureaus;Written confirmation of removal mailed to me;Communication to Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion to delete or correct the record;5. Intent to Escalate Should Caine & Weiner fail to comply within 30 days:I will file formal complaints with the ***** FTC, and my State Attorney General;I will pursue legal counsel to enforce my rights and seek damages, statutory or punitive, under the ************* including recovery of legal fees under 15U.S.C. 1681no and 1692k.I do not owe $452 to *** Antech, and I will not tolerate its continued negative impact on my credit. I anticipate your swift compliance.

    System notes indicate that we are aware of the consumer's dispute.  However, creditor records continue to show the balance as due.  Disputes filed in other forums indicate that the consumer is in communication with the creditor regarding a different reference number not sent to our office for recovery assistance.  Our records continue to confirm there is no active tradeline
    reporting to the credit bureaus. We have no control over the process or timing
    for each individual credit bureau to update their records. The reference number
    noted other dispute documents is 01OPJ2. This account was never received by
    our office. The reference number in question is 01AIJM. Our office has not been
    notified of any payments specific to this reference number and system notes
    indicate client records still show the balance owed for that reference number

    To Whom It May Concern,I am writing in regard to a recent copy of my credit report issued by your company. Upon review, I have identified several items that appear to be inaccurate. The accounts in question are listed below for your reference:CAINE & WEINER - ************* - $0.00 In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. 1681g), I am requesting that you provide copies of all documents currently in your files that were used to verify the accuracy of these accounts. This request pertains specifically to the materials that existed in your records at the time of this inquiry.Please do not respond with a general statement that these accounts have been verified. Instead, I am asking for actual documentationsuch as signed contracts or records from the furnishersthat support the continued reporting of these items.If you are unable to provide such documentation, I request that these accounts be removed from my credit file immediately, as required by Section 611(a)(5)(A)(i) of the ****. Reporting and sharing inaccurate or unverified information with third parties may cause ongoing harm to my reputation and credit standing.Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.     I honestly dont get why Caine & Weiner is reporting this debt under my name because I dont owe them anything. I never signed anything with them, and when I asked for a copy of the original application, they didnt even bother to provide it. Its frustrating because this is hurting my credit for no reason, and its just not fair. How can they just put something on my report without any proof?Account No: 2198 Amount Disputed: $218
