    I cancelled my subscription years ago. Every year this company tries to sneak in a charge on my credit card and I have to challenge it. I have called them, cajoled them and have had no luck. I am tired of their games.

    These last two years of subscribing to McAfee's LiveSafe product, they've started bombarding me with constant fly-outs to purchase upgrades and other annoying items. They are exceptionally annoying when I'm in the middle of doing something important like running a presentation during our ************* services. I've even had them appear on the broadcast screen (somehow overriding my display broadcast settings) which goes out to hundreds of viewers on ********* Totally unprofessional. I can see having they annoyances with a free or trial version of the program, but not with a paid subscription. If they want to promote add-ons to the basic virus software, they can add a button on their app's main menu which can be accessed at MY convenience, not theirs. I've called their tech support about this and all I get is that this is a marketing issue and they can't do anything about it. The program I can say is a 5-star app. Their intrusive ad campaign and how they present them I give 1 star or an "F" grade.

    Shame on your business, installing as bloatware and making it difficult to remove - wasting people's time - pretty sure that's illegal? Go through the windows process like you are supposed to. Is your company really that desperate? For sure it is, maybe you should reconsider the actual services you provide. Funny that bit-defender is free and does everything you do but better... you're largest competitor doesn't even charge. I'm not one for acronyms but LOL. You are stuck in the 90s McAfee. Move on and leave my computer alone!

    They baited me with an $89 renewal and then as I was paying it changed to ****** I let him get away with that. Next thing I know they charged me an additional ****** for a second subscription less than 2 weeks later. I would question that this is a pattern of bait and switch and then double charging because I'm over 60 years old. Contacted him by phone the number listed with the better Business bureau and they sent me emails saying that they were refunding both ****** and $******. in the year 2024 that should be instantly back into my account. I did business for 20 years everything on paper with paper and pin and never stole a dime from anyone. Now let's see if ***************** tomorrow.

    I echo other complaints! Terrible customer service! Impossible to cancel and receive refund, even within the contractual time frame. Constant emails for upgrades even after attempting to unsubscribe. I'm still waiting for a promised return call from a supervisor...Terrible experience, their business practices need to be exposed before others fall victim!

    There prices go up every year about $10, yet I've never agreed to the price increases. I tolerated it for 8 years but now they jumped from $79.99 to $149.99. This is ridiculous.No way to cancel the subscription on there website. Call customer service and the *********** supervisor were combative & refused by ALL means to cancel what is left of my subscription (10 months), also refused to issue a refund, for atleast the time that I won't use the subscription.They instructed me to remove the product from my devices, so that they can justify, keeping my money, for services that I will not use for the rest of the year. Read there responses to other reviews on here, they have an excuse for EVERYTHING. The one thing they won't do, is refund the customer and let them walk away satisfied or atleast partially satisfied.All they care about is keeping your money. Terrible business practices, terrible customer service!! Will NEVER use them again. If you search Internet Security, there's many reputable companies available, that don't have shady business practices.Good Bye Mcafee, NEVER AGAIN.

    I get unsolicited ads every 15 minutes on my PC and there is NO opt out. I have made 5 attempts to get them to cease contacting me. i don't want their product and I am annoyed that there ad appears in the center of my monitor and have to take time to click out of the ad so i can get back to what i was doing on my PC. I know that they can delete my IP Address from there spamming ads. My son works security at ********* so I know what are doing is illegal. Please stop McAfee from doing this. If there is any other place I can take action and get them from spamming me.

    They turned from a useful product into your worst nightmare, removing all control over their spam pop***, trying to ***ell other products. It is utterly pathetic, that a customer who bought a product suddenly gets spam pop-*** and the "support" only tells you "this is how it is designed, we cannot change it". Idiotic company and for sure the last time I spent money on these scammers.

    I use McAfee VirusScan Plus as offered via my **** subscription. I have had issues with the program for the last few months, trackers and temporary files are no longer removed. I downloaded the program again and there was no improvement. I called customer service on Jan 3, they downloaded again. Then they gave up, gave me a service number, and total me that "this is a ongoing issue that has no current resolution". I complained on FB and later today received a call from a person identifying themselves as part of the McAfee social media team. He wanted my service number and , then, to take over my computer. When I refused to allow him access, he wanted me to download a program (not a McAfee program)....I told him that I need to verify his identity before he could go any further. McAfee customer service now told me my ********************** subscription expired in 2022. She was unable to identify any info from the social media team. There were no replies on FB. Pretty sure I was just scammed by McAfee imposters. Nice situation when you are dealing with a SECURITY company!!
