  They are biased discriminatory towards people with disabilities or autistic people. And very biased in their reviews , and decisions made by their review team .

  My small local business has made several attempts to advertise on this platform over the years, paid thousands of dollars like so many other businesses, and never received a single lead. They just take the money and then have the nerve to keep asking for more. This has happened to so many small local businesses, and Nextdoor is now well known as the worst platform to spend any ad money on. It's exposed as a massive scam, and it's only a matter of time before a class action lawsuit is brought against them for a very large amount of money.

  Terrible management. Reported comments have zero consistency on how they're handled. How can a reviewer review himself/herself. They should be TOTALLY independent of the conversation/topic. Very poorly managed. Terrible site. If I could give zero stars, I would.

  I'm a moderator and drive a lot of positive content on Nextdoor. I get a lot of positive feedback from readers of my posted content and until recently issues were minor. Suddenly I find myself being targeted by someone best described as a professional troll. He's decided to target myself and several others filing a mountain of complaints about all of us and what we post. Nextdoor has elected to support this person and his campaign of terror despite how nonsensical his complaints are. I recently had a number of posts taken down as spam, which is looney tunes as they're reposted memes in the public domain. This harassing individual on Nextdoor has a particular nasty misogynistic slant, in that he most frequently targets women. Despite all this, Nextdoor allows this unpleasant person to operate with impunity. I find myself feeling harassed and unsupported by Nextdoor. I'm disgusted by their lack of integrity and loyalty towards members who deliver value and content to their site. For a group that seeks to monetize neighborhoods and the relationships in them, they're doing a better job of alienating people with their short sighted practices.

  Next Door ownership uses this APP to control public opinion. I have been kicked off for responding to people making FALSE AND DEROGATORY POSTS that dont support their political view point!NEXT DOOR HAS NO OPTION TO CHALLENGE BEING SILENCED! They clearly restrain and control FREE SPEECH AGAINST THOSE WITH POLITICAL OPINIONS OPPOSITE OF THEIRS!If your in *********** a pass on this AMERICAN FREE SPEECH GESTAPO!

  I witnessed Next-door removed another members post that did not violate Community Guidelines or policy. I am sick of Reviewers and Admins who filter conversations when no violation took place. If someone does not like or have an answer to a topic, then they should just scroll on to another subject that may peak their interest. Instead, the author of the post is asked to bring up the subject on another platform just because they have a difference of opinion when all he did was ask a reasonable technical question.

  Nextdoor users volunteer to moderate the app. If a moderator decides they dont like you or disagree with something you posted they deactivate your account. I use the app to sell items in my neighborhood & have spent hours listing hundreds of items which are all lost because if a moderator decides to close your acct. without notice. The 1st time they shut my acct down w/o notice was because of a conversation I was having with another ************ sent her a prayer as she was going through a hard time. I Ive seen plenty of posts where people talk about their faith. The second time the volunteer decided to shut my account down was because I commented on someone elses post that was political. Apparently they didnt approve my post but everyone elses posts were just fine and I know because my spouse has an account and I checked and everyone was still active users. This is now the third time they closed my account because they require me to upload my drivers license to verify I am who I am. However my husband has never had to do that. This time around I did not engage in the feed all I used it for was to sell items. I have posted over 200 items which is time consuming & I was in the middle of conversations with buyers about my items that I cant reply to now and all that time and energy. These volunteer moderators are just users of the app & don't get paid by Nextdoor & have the ability to close any account down they want. I have helped my neighbors out by selling quality items at a great price & never had a bad review or complaint from another user. Very unprofessional. I feel targeted & discriminated against. The fact that they have no oversight paid next-door employees to approve or decline moderators that close users' accounts for whatever reason they want. I disputed the first time and was told the bottom line we Don't have to have a reason, its at the moderator's own discretion. 3 times they did this to me.
