You have to give legal docs just to have an account that can see/read anything posted anywhere (or just in your "neighborhood") on this site for "neighbors" that everyone hates(like the ads that get put in between posts like most other similar sites). I haven't even been on this site for almost a year and after reading the requirements I remember why I didn't get on it again nor give afabout making my account able to view/read any posts anywhere on it. This site isn't for ACTUAL local people it's for ads &ds that want everyones legal info like a SCAMmer/scam artist and want to harass others in their local area/s. Like newspaper sites that require viewers to pay at least twice as much as 10 years ago. "for security" LOL Even banks don't require that much sto have an online account. Just as sad: Some cities actually trust it more and post important legal/local info/updates on it before (if any) social media sites and/or email lists. Some security requirement/s is fine but a site's requirements sounding like a court house or legal forums with a lawyer? LOL is it going to be sold to Elon (or someone similar)soon? LOL (sadly that might actually make it more useful)What's the point of the site if normal people can't use it w/o giving legal s... I'm surprised this site (from phone app & non-phone version) is still the way it is and not removed or other/changed by the gov (like many other things).FYI: requiring a copy of your "legal" doc or 2 won't prove the person of the account being made there is not AI/fake, criminal, poser....

Next door in ************ is predominantly liberal run. Politically correct. You have the right to voice and opinion, as long as it concurs with the moderator. The clinch all: your post was disrespectful .Truth is disrespectful, facts are disrespectful, honesty is disrespectful..all the enemies of Democratic Liberals..St. *********************, self considered elite, find any and all factual criticism to be disrespectful. Say they have a large Alcohol and moderate drug problem is disrespectful. So here is disrespectful

The nextdoor app is absolutely horrendous when it comes to customer service. They do not resolve issues and they let anyone report you without cause and automatically suspend you. Once you file an appeal or write to customer service they just send stock answers instead of investigating the matter. I feel I have been targeted by people on the app because of my popularity. They will say you broke the guidelines without explaining how. I recently put a joke up about women living longer than men and said to pick up the extra longevity I would transition to a woman. They said the word "transition" was discriminatory... This was a joke that I put up in my own joke group. Nothing discriminatory or defaming or mean spirited but yet I get suspended. This is continued targeting over the most ridiculous things and the people in customer service are either apathetic or understaffed and do not add any substance when replying If they reply at all !!! It is truly disappointing that they don't have better people investigating some of these matters as the app does have potential if it wasn't ruined by The lack of fair and intelligent customer service support. Everything is done through email there is no one to call and you can't have anything escalated to a manager as everything falls on deaf ears. I guess they'll let the same members, leads and reviewers continue to target and harass other members by colluding together to do whatever they want. It's truly the reviewers and leads that should be reevaluated time to time for falsely reporting and voting on absolute nonsense just to get people kicked off the app temporarily.*******************

Nextdoor tramples on free speech and deletes discussions pertaining to both crime and local politicians. They are stifling free speech, risking lives (crime topics), and aiding/abetting the corruption of local politicians by censoring that speech.Avoid nextdoor at all costs. its not worth it. I will never hire a professional company via nextdoor for this reason alone.

Bias moderators, they will suspend you if they don't like your opinion, or don't like you just because. They will be the reason why such app will fall with the years. Just like mocospace and ******** Lots of con artist and some moderators are in on it! Beware! We need a new neighbor app completely!

Nextdoor doesn't actually care to work for people creating neighborhoods. I could type in an address that isn't located in a neighborhood already and request one be created, draw the map over a ridiculous area, and if any actual neighborhoods pop up in the future they'd be stuck with MY choice and not be able to create their own. This is a flaw in the system and when "support" is unwilling to look at evidence and make an adjustment to create a new neighborhood....that just shows me that Nextdoor doesn't actually care about creating community feeling for actual neighbors. I'd steer clear of using Nextdoor unless you know for sure that your neighborhood is already on the app.

I am a senior citizen being discriminated against by nextdoor. I have agreed to all their rules, yet if I post a simple comment (no profanity), I am sanctioned. I do believe there is one individual real estate agent who has threatened me online in the past and who runs sponsored ads who is attacking me (I know it sounds paranoid). Nextdoor will do nothing to resolve this, only continue to harass me with sanctions. I recently posted a comment that everyone should be careful and do their own online research into sponsored ads for ****** MD. Yet I never accused this MD. That was the whole gist of my comment. The internet has many complaints against this MD.Nextdoor has sanctioned me for complaining about a sponsored ad. Nextdoor cares more about ad revenue greed than it does about truthfulness. Nextdoor takes retaliatory action against those who dare to rock the boat or is it bankbook. I also posted AARP just released a very helpful list of home cleaning tips. I stated, I am not an invalid, I can do this. Why do I need all these cleaning ads? I was actually sanctioned for this simple statement. Once agai discrimination against a senior citizen for attacking nextdoor's pocket book.

The new scam site. They sell ids and passwords to scammers by the hundreds. They prey on existing users, and nextdoor raises advertising prices for the number of users. This all changed in the last year.

This is mostly a site for advertising, people bashing and political unhappiness. The actual neighbors posting are just there to complain and take others down (including businesses). Some complaints are not even valid, they just have a personal grudge against someone. This is one sick forum.**********, Thanks to all the inconsiderate neighbors who pop off fireworks. My dogs are terrified and freaking out.*************************, It is a democracy. If it bothers you enough, band together to make change. Otherwise, the point of democracy is we all get to do things that other people don't like, and we just have to get over it. He watches with CHILD like glee.*********************************, July 4th is once a year....figure something in advance for your pets...get over it!***************************, If the ban was enforced with severe fines it may prevent the craziness.
