  On nextdoor.com the moderators are the bullies, and so are the bullies. There are side groups that can be set up to bully people unbeknownst to them. This happened to me, and before I knew it people were messaging with accusations that have nothing to do with me or my post. Saying they were going to report me to agencies, and messaging that "folks are saying" and I should move. Again, nothing to do with my actual situation. Totally off the wall stuff. This is way out of hand. Dangerous, and disturbing.Also years back I was bullied ruthlessly for a post someone else wrote, and nextdoor.com let hundreds of people beat me up for something I didn't write, and did nothing. It took months to recover.There's nothing on the site that you can't find somewhere else, and its' evil background groups are just that. The format attracts bullies that can't read accurately, and are there to be jerks; the moderators are running their own policing service, and if they don't agree with you you're gonna pay.Plus, leaving them is a chore since they make you work so hard to figure out how to dump them.

  Left wing radicals at NextDoor suppress free speech. Takes family feud to the next level. I see little value from angry mobs of activists putting forth their opinions and gossip instead of insight based on facts and research. NextDoor routinely suspends without any input from victims. Bullies flourish on NextDoor.

  I have been attacked countless times by woke liberal leftists on nextdoor called multiple names and insults and if I *********** undeniable facts my account gets disabled. I have currently been disabled indefinitely. This site is run by communists that filter and censor any speech that they disagree with. This site should be shut down permanently!

  Disappointed with Nextdoor to the point I am posting on the BBB's website. I have enjoyed using this website (Timbercrest in ******, **) since it was introduced to our development's 176 homeowners. We have people issues, power issues with our HOA board who also double as Leads. These folks have gone to Mail Chimp to talk to us as their fingers were smacked for not running their volunteer positions properly and we had war on this chat site. Hence, they cannot discuss nor can we development business properly. It has escalated within the last week or two with me to the point I posted three comments that are safe, simply about street light outages and a lost fence cap that I found and wanted to notify our neighbors I had so it could be retrieved. What happened? My posts were removed! Reshuffled if you can imagine. Have spoken with at least four Nextdoor staff who seem to be ?? trying to help, trying to stay out of our drama, BUT . . . this is Nextdoor's intellectual property, not other homeowners. Is this a play by our Leads to try to close Nextdoor out on their power trip? I feel I have been "talked down to" at this point. No other homeowner can see my account to see my posts. Don't tell me they're on in my profile, that doesn't get out to my neighbors. Someone, a computer professional in here ? , is reposting my posts and reshuffling them and then removing them. ?? I am disappointed. I am 67, have worked professionally in the law field. I see both sides here, but . . . maybe Nextdoor has grown too large for the original founders of this website. Something that started out good has devolved. Sad. I don't like ******** for the fighting that's allowed. I think I am not alone here. I deactivated my account, again, and just want to let others know maybe you want to decide how you use your time online. Maybe time to get back to going outside and taking a walk. Get out behind these screens. Just be aware of this.

  Please shut down this app that allows bigots and haters to multiply. Nextdoor has what they call Leads which removes ***** posts. Is ***** not part of community? Do we not have it hard enough? Ya every single post I made or even just a picture of a trans person with an emoji as a title got removed. So from what I can gather NEXTDOOR used these Leads to keep their hands clean, but absolutely condone hate against the ************** Absolutely. You do not get a warning from NEXTDOOR saying the ***** post violated community standards. But you certainly get your post removed and try to add the post again ? I did 7 times. It was a pic of *************************** and all I said was when he was 10 yo he wanted to be a girl and finally came the day he could be her true self. And boom the post disappeared. But before it disappeared? The aggressive comments were allowed! And now Im banned which idc I deleted the app many times because of bullying. But trying to promote my book, which has the word gay in the title sounded the alarm for these Leads basically the Leads do the dirty work and discriminate so NEXTDOOR isnt outed. Ive been on every site I can find warning people of their scrupulous tactics. Like 4 hours now. Non stop. Please ban this app. It allows for predators to have mind control over the naive community. We need protection from this app how sad.

  Beware. Nextdoor is not a legitimate, innocent, "neighborly" app designed to connect people for the good of the community. It is run by extreme left-wing investors (I say that as a liberal) intending to get rich by taking Nextdoor public and making money off our data. They don't tell you this (there was no Opt-in, or Opt-Out when I signed up), but they could care less about your privacy. EVERYTHING you click on, write, post, or respond to (including all of your "private messages" to your neighbors, which are not private at all), are archived and stored for data mining. They have your name, your address, your interests, what you think and comment on, what you post to sell, etc. and they are making money off of it. There is NO privacy at Nextdoor, but they don't tell you that. They also "suspend" people regularly for not aligning with their extremely biased "woke" views, and ban others for the same. Then they imply that you could be the source of criminal activity, so they have to archive all your data. What? You correct a lie with a fact and you're banned? This is really sick stuff, and our congressional reps need to do something about this and soon. They are breaking privacy laws, and they are not being honest about who they really are. THIS IS NOT A KIND, SWEET, INNOCENT little neighborhood app. It is something much more nefarious than that. You can see this by reading the ratings and complaints posted here that I'm not the only one concerned about their business practices. NEXTDOOR needs to be investigated, fined and/or put out of business. Either that, or they need to come clean with their "neighbors" who trusted them to handle their data in an honest way, and to delete it upon request, as every other social media site/app does now. It's time to stop trusting NEXTDOOR. (And ignore their responses to these reviews... they are lies as well. They pretend their customers are to blame. This is all part of their game. Trust the reviews. DO NOT TRUST NEXTDOOR!

  Nextdoor is a biased site. They are definitely coming from one end of the political and social spectrum. The biggest problem may be the moderators. Neighbors should not be allowed to sensor other neighbors posts, especially ones that dont agree. Several times my posts are blocked or removed, and others that are harassing me are not. Its a troupe of troubled characters coming at you constantly, esp if they dont agree with you. It is not free speech at all. Shame on Nextdoor! #ElonMusk please help!

  Advertising on Nextdoor I've been experimenting with the advertising for a few years on and off with a couple of businesses. Always found it difficult to turn off the ads. This last one was down right fraudulent. Made me feel like I was losing my mind! I canceled the ad. But then would get a bill. I canceled again. And it remained active. I canceled it, took a screen shot of the confirmation and low and behold - I'm still getting billed. Then it continues to run - cause I just got too busy to mess with the stupid thing. I get back on after more charges and cancel again and take a screenshot again and tried contacting them - but there's no good channel to contact the ad department. So I just hope support at nextdoor.com is an active email and shoot them a request to cancel and ask for a refund. I get a response back - they apologize. Say they'll refund on month and that they have now canceled the ad. WHAT? It was still active after all of that. Now, if they do that to twenty thousand businesses knowing only a few will go to that length to turn it off, they're making millions! It's crazy! It was still active
