Nextdoor is a scam to harvest your info and sell it. Hence why they dont actually have any legitimate moderation policies and refuse to delete user accounts upon request. Im flabbergasted that their BBB rating isnt F. The original CEO and a founder of this company drunkenly ran a family off the road, injuring them. He left the scene of the accident and was charged with felony hit and run. Yet ended up with a $239 fine and some weekend community service because he promoted a partnership with the police ***** Not the normal punishment you or I would receive for the same offense. A shady backroom deal made Nextdoor a publicly traded company last year. Current stock price $2.70 so hopefully Nextdoor will soon be Gonedoor. KIND is their ticker. Financials that will make you wonder. Everything about the site is abysmal. The countless reviews here saying Nextdoor is biased, creepy, dangerous, weird, etc are correct. Do not use the Nextdoor website/app.The rating star I was forced to select means -1. For the record.

I reached out to Nextdoor years ago about being harassed by a neighbor because I created our neighborhood on Nextdoor and he wanted to be a lead. I had received multiple reports from neighbors that this particular man was known as a bully and would harass and threaten to get his way. Nextdoor did not offer me any support or backup and I had to elect him as a lead. I am currently selling my home (which I still own) and he began repeatedly messaging about me leaving the Nextdoor neighborhood. When I pushed back my account magically got disabled and I am no longer a lead. This man is known for causing trouble and I did my best to help be a voice for those in our neighborhood who felt intimidated by him. Im assuming he repeatedly bombarded Nextdoor with messages and requests because I never once had an issue with my account until he started complaining. Based on reviews from trusrpilot and sitejabber there are hundreds of people saying that Nextdoor is known for bully culture and the admins are not supportive. Switch over to the ******** groups- theres actual reasonable neighborhood groups there

Unfortunately this app has turned into an unprofessional, bullying, biased and useless app. Downloaded for useful neighborhood info and its so far from that. Too bad, just deleted my account

The most discriminatory social media ever. Dictatorship at its finest. A Conservative hating company who, irrespective of how peaceful the message, they will block it and suspend the account. Those who silence the peaceful unifying messengers are the ones who are racist and offensive, not people like me. Were living in the time in history, where violent rioting, thievery, and attacking the law enforcement and innocent people has become acceptable, and prosecuting those defending our constitution, our men and women in uniform and peaceful protesting has become intolerable. Theyre the reason why, we can not create peace. Segregation of another form. Theyre silencing those who do not agree with their socialist agenda. Im an immigrant whos seen tyranny abroad and now Im witnessing it again in this beautiful country. When I was getting sworn in, one of the questions I was asked, was, do you belong or have you ever been affiliated with any communist party or organization? Now I can say yes, Nextdoor and so many others. Its shameful. Wheres the America we once knew. I dont need their twisted despicable response. In other freedom loving countries these people would be imprisoned for their communistic behavior. God help our country. Another concerned citizen ??????

I love this site, I had an account in ****** and **********. When I moved to *********, ** I set up a new account, not realizing I could transfer my account under (have you moved). I registered with my personal icloud email and wanted to set up a business account with my business email but couldn't figure out how to connect them. After sending a email to help/support for guidance, I received a email stating my account has been disabled because I didn't use my real name; which I did, just spelled differently. Reason being is I am a domestic violence survivor and my ex-partner continues to stalk me. It's going on week two and still I am no closer to resolving the issue. I did receive a email from *** and responded straightaway with the reason why my name is spelled differently but still no resolve. I just want help fixing the issue because I cannot move forward with the business side as it's connected to my personal account which is disabled! Nextdoor, please help me fix this issue, I don't want to delete my account and start over! It's a GREAT site, my puppy went missing recently and I posted in my neighborhood and the response was immediate. I was truly grateful and had it not been for Nextdoor my little pup would have been lost forever. La Toinya M
